Alphonse grabbed a flask attached to his belt and submerged it in the ale, popped a cork on to the top of it once it was full, and tossed it to Odd. "Bottoms up!" He capped the keg and took another swig of his mug of ale then belched unnaturally lightly. "Well then, excuse me. Anyways, why'd you need to go in to the Digital Sea? Was there something specific down there you were after? Digital sunken treasure or something?"

"Thanks pal." Odd said. He took a sip and coughed. "That's strong stuff."

 

"No, nothing like that, at least, I don't think there's digital sunken treasure. We just wanted to see what was down there. Exploration and all." Aelita said simply.  "And we also thought it would be a good way of travelling between the different sectors instead of using the Passage Towers all the time. Plus, it's docked in Sector Five." Aelita continued.

Codely watched Rush and Whisper fighting the tarantulas guarding the tower till he heard voice behind him, He turned around and saw that kid with the beer and 4 other people who were adults. He then remembered who they were.

 

"So you decide to come back to the lyoko... Bad mistake!" behind Codely came a new creature what looked like a big flying octopus but with a lot more tentacles "scyphozoa! Possess XANA's old enemy's!!"

Ulrich groaned. "Oh no, not this thing again." Ulrich groaned.

 

"Alphonse, the Scyphozoa is bad news. Don't let it touch you otherwise you'll-" Ymi was interrupted by Aelita.

 

"Get your memories taken away. It's either that or-" Aelita was then interrupted by William.

 

"Or get possessed by XANA permanently. Speaking of which, I see he has a new minion.What's it like under XANA's control? Fun I bet." William growled. 

 

"There's no time for this. Go and hide, princess. We'll take care of this." Odd said to Aelita.

 

"I can take care of myself." Aelita protested.

 

"Yes, we know you can but if the Scyphozoa gets you then that's it. Go and hide." Jeremy told the group.

Katie looked at Jeremy operating the computer, she was scared to go into Lyoko and possibly experience what she had before. The Scyphozoa  sounded terrifying, but her curiosity got the better of her. "Um, I'm going into Lyoko." she said to Jeremy, "can you scan me and stuff? Or do you need me here fighting the bees?"

"Got it." Alphonse said, nodding. "Looks like the bulb on it's head is breakable. Good." Alphonse downed what was left in the mug and re-attached it to his belt. "I'll fight ANYTHING in the sector!" He said, whipping his flail in to a nearby rock, shattering it. "Careful, that glorified mook'll turn in to one of you. He's already demonstrated by turning in to Odd there a while earlier." Alphonse warned the rest of the group.

Jeremy looked at the computer screen and saw that they were barely a hundred metres away. "I just had to let a girl named Minx go with a boy to the hospital because she collapsed so if you could pick up the pace, that would be grand." Jeremy stated.

As the elevator came up to the top, Arti made sure his trenchcoat was on tight, and he had Minx over his shoulders, holding one of the cans of bee killer in his hand. It wasn't long till he saw the massive amount of bees swarming around, and as soon as the door to the elevator opened, he braced himself. 

 

"It'll only sting for a bit, then the venom will numb it all up..." he said to himself quietly, before aiming the spray can directly ahead. 

 

The cloud of bees immediately reacted to his arrival, and flew directly at him. As such, Arti closed his eyes, and charged forward, spraying the can directly ahead of himself. It worked for the first few moments, at least until he had to climb up to the bridge. Arti had to reposition Minx, before grabbing onto the way up with his other arm. It this time, numerous bees managed to sting his hands, so he immediately began spraying above himself.

"Hopefully this gas doesn't get us before we can get away from the bees..." he spoke aloud, "I still blame the U.S. CIA for this..."

"This is worse than we thought. If XANA's minion can turn into any of us then he's gotten a lot stronger than before." Jeremy said to Alphonse.

"You head to the scanners and I'll do everything else from here. The bees won't get us because I've got a spare can of gas here." Jeremy said to her. He was glad that another person was going into Lyoko but was worried about the Scyphozoa trying to get Aelita again.

Minx breathed heavily as she felt herself being carried up by something. "W-watch out. For. Stray sparks of. Electricity." Minx tried to warn him as her hand reached out and touched a bee. This caused it to collapse from the electric shock. She then tried to spread her hand out as far as she could, and swatted a few bees away, the electricity she now generated protected her from the bee stings.

Arti grunted, trying to time the sprays he did to avoid wasting the can, and avoid as few as possible stings. This really stung like heck.

 

He then heard Minx say something about Sparks of electricity, and replied, "O-okay I guess, just don't die... again."

 

He finally reached the top, and took no time to run over the bridge. as he ran, he could feel a few of the bees getting into his trench coat, so he immediatly spray a cloud all around him, before running again. However, he tried again, and it sputtered out.

 

"DANGIT! It's empty, and they're chasing us!" He reached into his trench coat and pulled out his phone, "Hold on Minx, i'm calling help, even if I don't think the police will do much!" he yelled, as he began calling 911.

His phone then spoke: "Nine one one, what is the nature of you're emergency?"

 

"Hello? I'm at the abandoned factory! I need help, someone is having a heart attack, or something like that!"

 

"Alrgiht, help is on the way. Stay on the line sir, what condition is the victim in?"

 

"Uh, she's passed out," replied Arti, before he looked up to see another large group of the bees coming for him, "Oh jeez! Hurry up! There's a swarm up bees!" he yelled, before starting his run again, now down the street.

"Cool thanks!" Katie took the elevator down to the scanner room and got in. She closed her eyes tight and felt kinda funny for a second, than she opened up and looked at the strange landscape.

Aelita didn't like hiding, her friends were always so protective of her, it was annoying. "fine." she said to Jeremy,  before simply walking away. Then she saw a newcomer, she was wearing a blue and white dress that flowed down elegantly to her legs, the sides on the skirt were split making it so she could move easy and fast. At her side was a small dagger in a sheath. Aelita walked up to her, "If you're looking for the fight it's over there." She muttered.

 

Katie nodded, "thanks miss" she said. "so how do I talk to the computer guy?"

 

"Just yell." Aelita sighed.

 

"Yell, right." Something occurred to Katie, she cuffed her hands not noticing the bits of ice that came from her finger tips then yelled up, "Hey um, Jeremy, is Vincent alright? The bees might be out to get him!"

As Codely watched the scyphozoa about to possess XANA old enemy's he started to feel strange, he started to feel weak

 

"What's happening to me!" Codely started to disappear and morph into black mist as if he was teleporting but he wasn't. The black mist soon disappeared out of thin air but the scyphozoa was still there.

"Who? Vincent?" Jeremy asked. He checked around the room and saw a big guy standing in the corner. "How come I didn't notice you? Nevermind. Yeah, Vincent's fine." Jeremy said to Katie.

"Ooh, Ice. That's handy." Odd said as he finished the last of the drink. He handed the flask back to Alphonse and looked at the girl. "You look cool." Odd noticed the way she was dressed.

William sighed, pointed his sword to the sky, sunk into the ground and shadowed to the Scyphozoa. "You are not possessing me again XANA." William muttered as he came out from the shadows and sliced at it's tentacles.

Aelita saw Xanas possesee disappear and raised her eyebrow at the dissipating black smoke.

"What?" Katie asked turning to the fight, more icy sparks flying from her hand. Katie noticed the coolness of the ice, but couldn't place her finger on exactly what it was.

 

 

 

"Ooh, Ice. That's handy." Odd said as he finished the last of the drink. He handed the flask back to Alphonse and looked at the girl. "You look cool." Odd noticed the way she was dressed.

 

"Ice?" she yelled back to the boy in the purple cat suit. "Whatdaya mean?" She breathed out and her breath was white mist, like on nights when it was very cold.

 

Aelita was amused, "You have ice powers." she laughed. A noise behind the two startled Katie, but Aelita didn't even look as she shot a pink energy ball at the attacking crab. The thing fell dead faded away.

 

"Me...ice powers? That's ridiculous!" She flung her hands up and ice shards flew towards Aelita's head.

 

Instinctively, Aelita dodged, tumbled, rolled up and grabbed Katie's hands, holding them in place. "you need to be careful and learn to control it." Aelita said calmly, not wanting to scare the girl. "and Odd was right, you look stunning." She let go.

 

Despite the seriousness of the situation, Katie's first thought was, 'I should do a cover of Let It Go.'

Alphonse hooked the flask back on his belt. "So you were possessed by Xana then? How'd you break free?" He asked. "If only I had a bladed weapon. Oh well." Alphonse whipped his flail around and smashed it in to the side of the Scyphozoa, sending it careening off the side of the platform the group was on. Unfortunately, it could still float.

"You should sing Let it Go. But maybe at a later date." Odd said as he jumped and fired a Laser Arrow at a Blok that was behind the group. The Blok spun around a bit then exploded into different pixels before fading away.

 

William saw that his attacks weren't doing much so he shadowed his way back to the group. "Who's this? A new Lyoko Warrior?" Wiliam asked curiously.

 

"Hey Jeremy! Why don't you come into Lyoko with us?" Odd called out.

 

"No. I'm not going back in." Jeremy said. He crossed his arms and muttered about the ridiculous clothing he had when he into Lyoko the first time.

William looked towards Alphonse. "I didn't. Jeremy created an antivirus that got rid of XANA for me." William said in disgust. He hated that XANA took control of him and it was the first time he stepped into Lyoko too.

 

"Yes, but now that XANA's more powerful, I doubt that I cold do it again." Jeremy added.

Dex just hung back since this Jeremy guy came by. Truth be told, Dex was curious about him. After all, Jeremy was the one behind those tough encryptions, he must be really good. Dex then started to lean against the wall and close his eyes. he liked to do this when there was nothing to be done; he just sits back and brainstorms ideas, blocking the outside world out. He thought about his and the others' Lyoko forms and how they could be modified, enhanced, starting with his own. He didn't plan on going back to that place unless necessary, but better safe than sorry. 

 

He turned to his left and saw his backpack, the one he put to the side when he entered this place. He opened it, took out his laptop, and began to type out his ideas as they came.

Arti was running out of breath, and the swarm of bees was already catching back up to him, stinging his hands and getting down into his trench coat. He dropped his phone in panic, and know he was beginning to panic from the swarm. 

 

It was then he heard sirens coming his way, so in the only way he could think to get there attention, as he fell tot eh ground, he pulled out his pistols and began firing it into the air, hoping to startle some of the bees, and get the attention of the EMS. 

 

"OVER HERE YOU JERKS!" He yelled, unloading his gun into the air. He then threw it at the bees, as the Ambulance drove quickly his way.

 

 

The Ambulance stopped abruptly meters from Arti and Minx, as the driver said "HOLY CRAP! Is that a swarm of bees?!"

 

The Other Ambulance responder immediately picked up the radio, "Control! There's a swarm of bees here! Yes, a SWARM! I dunno what we should do, get a crop duster or something!!!"

"Oh my Rowling!" Katie gushed to Odd. "That's exactly what I was thinking!" In her excitement the floor turned to slippery ice. "You like frozen too? I thought it was the best Disney movie since Aladdin!"

 

"Um, ya, we can talk movies later." Aelita said trying not to slip on the ice, or upset the girl in any way. "I don't think it's the best idea f-"

 

She was interrupted when Yumi fell into the group, she had been thrown through the air by one of he monsters she was battling. "Crap." She muttered, "I forgot they had that attack. Where did all his ice come from?"

 

"Um," Katie said looking down at her hands, "sorry I don't know how to, woah," her hands were suddenly coated with ice. She simply stared, she moved her fingers and saw that the ice moved with them like gloves, than she closed and opened her fist really quick, the ice gloves slinged off as if she had launched them, hitting the monster Yumi had been fighting, yet sadly only managed to anger it instead of kill.

 

"OK." Aelita said carefully, "don't freak out, just relax."

 

Katie nodded.

Minx felt something roll into her hand. She instinctively held it up and shot electricity out of the nozzle to the swarm of bees. It took them down but more would be on the way. Minx gasped and dropped the can, her hand spasming as electricity shot out at random intervals. "I. Think. We. Need the ......." Minx's voice faded out as she fainted from all the pain. Electricity was still shooting out at random intervals.

Odd ran on all fours towards one of the Tarantulas near the tower. He jumped and landed on it's back. "Laser Arrow." Odd shouted as he blasted the head with a couple of laser arrows, killing it almost instantly.

 

William stabbed his sword into the ground and accidentally split the ice. "Whoops. Sorry about that."

"Incoming!" Odd shouted as he got blast off the Tarantula by a Blok. He landed on the ice and slid around. "Whoa!" Odd nearly fell over the edge and into the Digital Sea but William helped him up.

"Um, you OK cat guy?" @,  Katie asked Odd, stepping back. In her worry, the ice melted into nothing, gone in an instant.

 

Aelita shot energy balls at the Block that had thrown Odd off, killing the thing, then a second round at the Tarantula which missed.

 

"I'm sorry" Katie said, "but I'm still getting the hang of EEK!" The Tarantula jumped at her, the second it touched her it froze in midair than began to dissipate much more slowly than other killed monsters, but it was still very dead.

 

"Remind me not to scare you." Yumi muttered, throwing her fans at another wave of monsters.

"I'm fine. Just remind to not scare you otherwise I'll end up like that Tarantula." Odd said. He walked slowly back to them with William in tow. Odd took aim, placed a hand over his wrist and shot a well placed arrow at the Tarantula. It hit the target and destroyed the Tarantula.

 

"Guys. There are two Megatanks heading in your direction." Jeremy said to them.

 

William turned around and saw a Megatank coming towards them. "There's one. Where's the other?" William asked.

"Dispatch, some weird stuff is going on out here!" said the other guy into the radio.

 

The radio responded "We've sent out the fire brigade and have called pest control! Get back from there."

 

The driver looked at Arti and Minx, as Arti began to be overtaken by the swarm, as despite the electricity, more bees seemed to come. The driver then sighed, "I'm going to get them, stay in here!"

 

"What?! you're crazy!" replied the other guy.

 

"It's our job! now stay here!" rebutted the driver, as he jumped out, and ran for Arti and Minx, beginning to get overtaken by the swarm as well.

"Megatanks, eh? Time for some baseball then." Alphonse said, laughing heartily. "You go on for the tower, I'll take care of the Megatanks. Yumi, care to join me?" He asked. "I'll get one, see how far I can whack them, you can take care of the other however you do. I don't see any weapons on you, what do you use?"
