"I didn't get a chance to tell Ben this but apparently there are rumours about me going around school. Dart, here, told me that kids were making fun of me and my heart attack as well as my split personalities." Minx said as she glumly looked into her bowl of fruit. Dart was just looking out the window. She then leaned over to Whisper and whispered to her. "Sorry about running out on you in the shower." She then returned to looking glumly at her bowl.

"Don't pay them mind, Minx. I think you're super cool..." Whisper squeezed her shoulder gently. Rumors were quick to spread and true she had heard even a few of her own. Some girls thought Minx was making it all up just to be different. Others thought she might be crazy; but they were all just wild stories. Whisper had to suffer through her own rumours and looks now so she felt sorry for her friend.

 

"Oh, and don't worry. You've never said anything to offend me, most of the time it's either you or Angelinx that speaks with me anyway."

Katie waved to Whisper than gave Minx and encouraging smile.

 

"Don't worry about rumors," She said, "we all have to deal with them at some point, third of the school thinks me and Ben are dating well the rest think we're siblings or dating siblings." She made a grossed out face, before going on, "But as teenagers I find it best to live by one philosophy; I'm awesome, and everybody else is stupid. Sure it's self-centered, but it's also a survival instinct. Screw the haters, if they want to spread rumors like prissy little children than let them. They suck." She began pointing around the room at random kids, "that person sucks, and that person sucks, and him and her and him and her." She pointed at herself last. "I personalty don't care about anyone's opinions, not in high school at least. It's just a place where they dump kids and brainwash them to serve society. High school rumors have about as much credible weight as a five-year-olds dream to be a shark punching ballet star who is also the prime minister and the president." @,

Minx smiled at what her friends said. "Thanks for that." She said softly. Dart smiled and got up off the chair.

 

"I tried to tell her that but she wouldn't believe me. Anyway, I'm going to go ... somewhere. See you later sheilas." He waved bye and walked out of the cafeteria.

 

"Glad he's gone. When's the party again?" Minx asked them. She's been completely out of it for the past few days.

"Sheila? Who...?" Dart had lost Whisper, who was widely unaware of many foreign terms and slang.

 

She nodded as she listened to Katies wise input, knowing her friend always had something good to say. As for the party, she remembered the time being in the afternoon but decided to play it safe and let the planner herself answer.

"The party starts at noon, at the factory." Katie said leaning on the table wondering what Ben was up to.

 

"Who were you running from?" Ben asked the strange boy as he sat on a nearby cot. He was annoyed with Katie for leaving him with the same maniac that had socked him in the eye before, but if what Katie had said was true, then i was better that he was here.

Shadow opened his backpack and got out the jar with the glow coming out of it

 

"See this, they found this from a meteor and it's a source of unlimited power. They been doing tests on it for years"

"I think Sheila is something from Australia. So the party's at noon. I wonder if Jeremy has everything set up." Minx said absently. She munched on some fruit from her bowl and looked at her friends. "Why us? Why this whole group meet-up at the factory? Doesn't it seem weird?" Minx asked them.

Something dawned on Ben then, this boy was connected to Katie's secret. Interesting, information like this would be helpful. "Unlimited power?" He purred, "That certainly sounds interesting. What is it connected to? Do you have any idea?" He said it almost dangerously, coming off as someone interested in information. "Is Katie in on it with you?" @, 

 

Katie studied Minx, "You do realize what we do on a weekly basis right? If we're not connected, if we don't know each other, the world could hang in the balance. People could loose their lives. It's not JUST a party, it's a team meeting. People who want out can get out. We can make a plan. It's our turn now." She stared Minx in the eye, conveying the importance of the situation with her gaze. @,

Whisper nodded solemnly, they all had to work together now and if there was unrest in the group, surely it would affect thier ability to fight as a team. It made her nervous to know that all the Lyoko warriors would be together underone roof in one place.

"Well aren't you just a little ray of sunshine?" Devilinx snarked. She finished off thw fruit and crossed her arms. "Of course we knew that. Minx was just wondering why the group that's going to the factory was chosen to fight XANA. That's all." Devilinx said. @, @@RunsWithSquirlz

I don't think they got a name but i just call it a chaos emerald because you know... there 7 of them and it's a source of unlimited power"

Katie had sad eyes, "Because we found the factory," Katie said quietly. "We went into Lyoko, we have to remember every bad thing that has happened well the rest of the world forgets. If we tell adults, they will shut things down, use Lyoko and Xana for their own purposes. We all have to get together to night and agree on what to do, where to go." She sighed, "Maybe I'm taking this too far, but remember after the first return to the past when I started walking to the factory, you were both there, everybody was, and I said 'if you want to leave now you can' and everybody stayed? That's why it has to be us, because we stayed." She looked over her friends, wondering if she sounded incredibly self-centered or incredibly sappy. The thought of being alone on this scared her worse than Xana ever could, they had to be connected.@,@@RunsWithSquirlz,

 

 

Ben rubbed his temples, was he really doomed to live life as a video game now? "Huh, well why is Katie part of this?" He prodded, "Does she know any of this? Or is it just you?" @

"Oh yeah. Now I remember. What sort of solution are we talking about. Actually, a better idea would be if we talked about it at the study session." Angelinx told them. It sounded like a plan to her. She got up off the chair and put her empty bowl away. Sitting back down, she shyly looked at them.

"Was it something I said?" Dex asked himself, genuinely confused. He really couldn't help being blunt, it was just who he was. Although, when he thought about his previous statement, he saw how it could have offended someone. "That must be a sensitive topic for her." He thought out loud, "I suppose i'll apologize if I ever see her again." He didn't really feellike moving right now anyway.

"Yes." Katie agreed with Angelinx, maybe it was best to have this conversation once out of the public eye. "We'll talk more at the session." She shifted in her seat, smiling up at Minx. But then Katie frowned, "Um, I might be in some trouble by the way. I kind of...um, might left Ben with a psychopath who knows something about Lyoko. Or at least about Jeremy and Aelita, possibly in league with Xana and who is, heh, running from the cops. And I have no idea what to do about it." @,@@RunsWithSquirlz,

"WHAT?! He punched you an you left Ben with him!? What kind of psycho are you!?" Hellinx said angrily. She calmed down and sort of shifted back into Angelinx's stance. "To tell you the truth, just be careful if you go up to Shadow again." Angelinx cautioned. She was definitely worried about him.

Katie sighed at her friends, "Well, I found him bleeding out in the court yard with a swarm of angry kids yelling at him. I brought him to the inferiority, bandaged his leg and questioned him, what was he doing here, what did he want, all that stuff. He was perfectly kind, if not a bit annoying. He didn't answer many questions, but he repeatedly said he was running from the cops. Then he turned on me and asked me questions, I played dumb when he said something about Jeremy and Aelita. I figured that since he wouldn't talk to me, he might talk to Ben. See, Ben knows something is up with us, and will probably figure Shadows in on it and ask the kid questions. All I have to do is question Ben, and bam I have my information." She said it with a shy victorious tone. "I honestly don't think Shadow will hurt Ben. Ben knows nothing, and by now I'm sure Shadow knows that too. I needed to stick someone with Shadow to be sue that he wouldn't follow us to the party." She shifted again, super nervous, "They are in the inferiority, what do you purpose we do about it? I don't think I want to leave them alone together all day, I was considering that, but you're right, the kid is unstable." @@RunsWithSquirlz,@,

Out of nowhere Genesis sat on the table next to Minx and propped a boot up on the chair before her. "Sorry to butt into your conversation but in light of shared interests, I might have a solution to your problem." she smiled down at Whisper who looked away.

 

"Stick them in detention for a day, that way they're safe and watched, yeah?" she looked over at Katie.

Devilinx blinked at the sudden appearance of Genesis. "Hi to you too. That solution actually doesn't sound so bad but how will us four get those two into detention?" Devilinx asked them. It did sound like a good idea. "Wjat do you think Katie? Sound good to you?"

Ben mentally registered the name, Codely. He would have to be careful from this point on. He obviously wasn't in cahoots with Katie, maybe an enemy? Possibly, but then, he realized what Katie had put him here for, information. Sneaky thing to do, but like her. He played dumb, "Well Katie seems to know you." He shrugged, "I figured she had something to do with this. But go on, who is this Codely? When did he go missing?" @,

 

Katie beamed, "Genesis you're brilliant! But there's one problem, Shadow doesn't go to this school. Only students can get detention right? He would have to do something really bad, especially to get same day Saturday detention. Anybody have a plan?" Katie was good at getting out of detention, getting into it was another concept completely. She looked to Genesis and Hellinx for this. @@RunsWithSquirlz,@,

Hellinx raised an eyebrow when Katie looked at her and Genesis. "Why you looking at us? You think one of us can get them into Saturday detention?" Hellinx asked. She seemed surprise by this. "We can certainly try." Hellinx added as an afterthought. "What say you Genesis?"
