mega thread What are you thinking?

My MLP fanfic script idea could involve my OC defending Princess Luna for helping them learn to be more resilient and deal with phobias, after she gets accused of torture by somepony else.

My OC says in response to the allegation "Wrong, she did not torture me, she offered to help me deal with my phobia by repeated but careful exposure to the source of it, over time I learned to adapt and become more resistant to the source of that fear, thanks to her, I am stronger than I ever was, I am grateful for her help and I don't resent her in the slightest for doing this."

2 minutes ago, Snoopy Fan said:

King Sombra is the only MLP villain who has died twice.

Storm King's death was more violent, we saw him get shattered to pieces after petrification.

I had a look at this profile someone made for fictional character Princess Luna.

Her personal motto "face your fears" why doesn't that surprise me? yup, she would want others to face their fears and be courageous in difficult situations.

But to be fair, she would be worth it.

Well the problem is much worse than previously thought and I don't even want to look at fixing it. I don't think I can do any of that.

I don't get why slice of life is liked by some people, to me it's like watching a soap opera, boring. There's a reason why superhero comics are popular.

I critiqued Infinite Crisis because of how its inept characters ruin the story, and good did not truly win, not with countless universes erased to save one, the damage is irreversible for the sake of try hard edgy.

However that doesn't mean I don't enjoy stories with action in them. I do share a similar personality trait to the fictional character from MLP FIM Rainbow Dash in a way, since I appreciate action and thrill. Daring Do sounds like the book I would read.

Queen Chrysalis as a villain in MLP FIM is wasted potential, one of the later seasons her ineffective minions Mean Six basically destroyed themselves, how is this making a villain threatening? and Mane Six were oblivious to what was going on.

Yeah Queen Chrysalis can be scary sometimes, like threatening to murder Mean Six if they did not obey her orders, but all this amounted to practically nothing, since there was no conflict. The only part of Mean Six episode I did enjoy was seeing Mean Twilight get under Chrysalis skin and anger her with her nonchalance, and of course Pinkie Pie comforting Fluttershy after her feelings got hurt by one of the members of Mean Six. But I can see why some people had problems with later half of the show, from what I have seen of it so far, it drags, and no, simply adding more slice of life would not have helped.

That is what I hate most about slice of life, it reminds me of a world I simply cannot stand to be in, which in my opinion goes against the idea of escapism.

I like fantasy stories with drama in them, because there is an engaging story where characters each have challenges and conflicts that need to be resolved with patience, understanding and team work, that is what got me into My Little Pony Friendship is Magic to start off with. Not only is there trial and tribulation in Equestria, friends work through it together, we don't have a soap opera situation where people just talk all day and find petty things to argue about.

I've got a feeling I may not like Equestria Girls films, if it the high school story telling I've been told it is, I probably won't.

Then again I liked watching Code Lyoko, while nothing to do with MLP, it appears to have some similarity. In that story it made sense though, Code Lyoko characters started out human and in that same lifetime they remained there, sure Lyoko is a VR world and can be considered an alternate reality, but it is not actually a physical universe, it's simulated.

Ponies in Equestria Girls go into human world, morph into human form because reasons. That premise falls apart when you think about the fact the human world in MLP fiction is not even supposed to have magic, how would that cause a transformation? then again, it's only a spin off so I don't take that too seriously, but it is silly though.
