general media GI Joe vs US Military. Who would win?

Scenario: The GI Joes get tired of the US Military's shit, and decide to come teach some maggots a thing or two about being a real American hero (no offense to the real soldiers who do fight for the people). The GI Joes are still very loyal to the American people, but they found out how corrupt the government is, and they will not stand for it.

 

Here's a quick comparison.

 

GI Joe

 

Pros

- Received much better training in combat, stealth, hand to hand combat, etc

- High amount of leadership and charisma, could possibly get a bunch of the US Military to defect to their side.

- They're the best of the best, and they've fought against huge odds before.

- Superior military equipment

- They would undoubtedly have the support of most of the American people

- They have mother bucking Sergeant Slaughter on their side

 

Cons

- There aren't that many of them (although they could train more)

 

 

US Military

 

Pros

- They are probably millions of soldiers in the armed forces

- They have the Navy Seals backing them up

- They would have support from the government and the President. Normally, they don't get enough support, but seeing as how the GI Joe's could be a huge threat to their plans, they would give them all the support they needed to stop them.

 

Cons

- Government has made bad decisions with how to run the military

- Lack of leadership from the government

- Most will defect if they find out the military doesn't have the interests of the American people in heart

 

I would have to hand it to the Joes. Almost every person on Earth has heard of them. Propaganda won't work on them, because their reputation is flawless, and everyone has seen how they fight against anyone who endangers the American people. So if needed, they could get millions of new recruits at any time. And most US Military have undoubtedly heard of the Joes as well, so most of them would defect to their side. Then, numbers would no longer be an issue, and with their superior equipment and training and leadership, they would defeat the rest of the US Military.
