Seth pulled out the real bomb, then looked between the two. It was a near perfect resemblance.

 

"Impressive craftsmanship. By the way, I will surrender myself to Celestia, but it won't just be a scolding. I'm a bit of a know bomber. I've never been cough, but now I'm going to walk up to Celestia herself. Hopefully... my ties as a diplomat. Help her judgment. But whatever the outcome, I am not setting off the bomb." He finished.

I technically only work for that one particular astral being, but I was sworn into service to the princesses and I'm stuck being forced to play with both of them at the same time until he comes along and decides that enough is enough with this war. We're gonna deliver it to the scientists while I place the real one in an extradimensional storage space." He turned his back to Seth. "Then we are going to go visit the princess, where, due to orders from the head honcho, you are to stay with me and stay safe- there are others like you I will have to find. So you are probably going to get lectured, but, if you have failed a mission before, it's nothing much different from the lecture you receive from your boss. Oh, and the possible demotion." Agririon shrugged. "And then you guide me to where the bomb was supposed to be placed. Then we place it, we set it off, then you make for Manehattan, and I get to tell Luna and Celestia that I've done exactly what they've told me too. Besides, Celestia didn't tell me not to blow up the bomb." Turning around, he revealed the facsimlie of the bomb, the only difference being a small moon inscribed on the side of it. "Does that answer your questions? And don't growl too loudly, they could hear us."

 

You hear a knock at the door, then Rainbow Dash's voice. "Hey, what are you guys doing in there? Orders were to get him straight to Celestia, and you know how she is about her orders not being followed. Someone's going to get their plot kicked if you guys don't hurry, and I don't want it to be me."

He walked out to talk to RD. "Forgive me, our friend here was giving me... useful information. I will share it with Celestia later." He shrugged. RD nods as they are on their way, then stops everyone. "Ok, the bomb? Agririon, I know you have it. Just give it to me and I'll deliver it to the labs. If you don't rember, that was one of Celestia's implicit instructions. No bomb I'm the throne room..." as she says this, you can tell she's fixated on the fake bomb, completely ignoring Seth's bomb. He shrugged. "Ah, yes. Forgive me." He flipped it around in a very risky stunt that could have involved it blowing up before handing it over to Rainbow Dash, grinning as her panic turned into anger. "Be careful that you don't do anything stupid with that, yes?" Laughing gently, he walked slowly into the building. The guard knew what was coming and let him in before he glared at him, which served only to fuel his amusement.

Rainbow Dash looks at Seth for a moment, then replies, voice full of pain, "For the first on, I'm sure Celestia will arrange something in a timely manner. You know that's where you're going right? To see her. Not to prison." A small smile breaks through her look of sadness. "I don't envy you. Celestia has never been the same since this war began. As for the second question," RD looks away, the pain evident on her face again. "I'm not going to answer that. Sorry." Turning to Agririon, she says, "I'll take care of the bomb. You get him to the princess." Flying up a little ways, she turns hovering in place to look at Seth. "Be careful, and good luck." A small smile spreads across her face, the in a burst of color, she's gone, zooming off into the sky.

Standing guard at the lab Mirage hears a loud BOOM. "What the Buck was that? Well what ever it was, I hope there were no casualties." Mirage looked up at the sky with the thought of the Princesses war raging on. "This is crazy, i can't believe that Luna has gone evil again."

As you think this, Rainbow Dash flies in to view. She hovers in place for a moment, saluting then lands. "Mirage. Good to see you on duty. Don't worry about that boom, I was just giving a guest a demonstration of my rainboom." She grins evily for a moment then a thoughtful look crosses over her face. "I'm going to deliver this bomb to the techy guys down there. I don't want Agririon and Seth to cause any trouble while I'm gone though. Could you go keep an eye on them? They're at Celestia's palace."

David pauses when he hears his name, but doesn't turn around. He waits a moment or two, then returns to his sword technique, attacking with greater ferocity then before until he's so tired he sits down, panting. He turns to face Lewis, sheathing his sword as he does and opens his mouth to respond when a loud beeping goes off through the cave. Davids eyes widen and he dashes out of the room yelling something about the proximity sensor. You find David staring at a screen on the security booth. He turns to you as you enter and says in a low conspiratorial tone, "There's more survivors out in Ponyville. Two of 'em on the train tracks." Before you can respond though, he holds up a hoof to stall your response and says "One of them is a changeling."

"A-a changeling? This far up into equestria?.... That's pretty bold...." Lewis walks over next to David and studies the screen. "I know where that is but I Couldn't telleport us there.... Unless you know how to preform teleportation magic?" In the back of his mind he didn't really even want to try and deal with the changelings because they rarely traveled alone and he knew that his fighting skill were lacking quite largely.

As you look at the stone in bewilderment, you see a sign above it that says teleport.

Red shrugged.

"Whatever's fine with you, mate. Let's get going."

In his mind, Lee became even more of a threat.

*Doesn't want the good ones to offer him protection? Hides like he's been doing it for years? Outcast of something? The New Lunar republic? But why would anyone at the Solar Empire know him then? Was he a general? A fearsome unicorn that slaughtered thousands of Solar Empire's soldiers? But then why did he say he was an outcast? Did he rebel at some point?*

These were the only things Red was thinking about at the moment. His eyes were locked onto the tracks and he didn't know where he was going.

Lee walks along, a dreamy expression on his face. You ask him what he's thinking about a d he replies "Flying" and that's all you can get out of him.

 

As you continue walking, you think you hear a noise from a nearby railway tunnel, but its probably nothing. Do you want to investigate or keep walking?

Seth's usually cocky smile faded at the sadness of rainbow dash. What could have caused her to receave this much pain? What could make the element of loyalty lose her one calling?

 

"If you ever need an ear, I'm here." He said, hoping to gain rainbows friendship. If it was anything he needed in his war, it was friends. He continued to the hall and walked in as expected of him.

Rainbow looks at him a moment then says "Tell you what. You do good in this assignment and I'll see about getting you a few more higher level missions. You complete them and I'll see about enrolling you in training. Sound fair?" With a smirk on her face, she pats Mirage on the back then enters the lab, walking down some steps and disappearing.

Mirage excited and more determined to work harder at his assignments he flies off in a flash to celestia's palace. "So I just gotta keep a close eye on Seth and Agririon, shouldn't be that difficult, right?" He arrives at celestia's palace and he sees Seth and Agririon. Keeping his distance he makes sure not to lose sight of them and not do anything to cause problems.

Without turning around, Agririon commented, "Hello, newbie," before smirking, very obviously trying to aggravate Mirage. His joking manner immediately dropped as the doors opened to Celestia's lair. Bowing deeply, he smiled. "I have done as you wish, my princess. A bomb is on it's way to the scientists, and here is the wolf. I also have a message for you before you go declaring him to be put in prison or killed, yet that can wait for now."

A pair of changelings patrolling the Everfree jumped at the sound of the dirgeful voice nearby, but quickly resigned it to the wind howling and continued on.

 

Do you know where she is? Can you find my friend?

 

A shadow, twin, light blue, armblades flashing, leaped out of the forest, quickly decapitating the first changeling. The second one started at the sudden death of his comrade before running away.

 

No! Please, don't run! Please, help me...

 

The slight hesitation was all that the shadow needed. Throwing a bolt of energy of pure shadow, it trailed an inky darkness on teh ground before it made contact with teh changeling, who, in its running, left a trail of blackness. The shadow blazed along the path like a possessed pony before knocking the changeling off of his feet and slowly eviserating it, limb by limb...

Red stopped in his tracks, pulling Lee aside him. The sound in the cave was probably nothing. But if it was nothing, how could have there been a sound? It was better not to risk it at this point. It could be anything from a small animal to a sniper. Didn't Lee say he was an outcast of something? It could be them for that matter.

Slowly, Red started moving towards the cave. "Anyone there?"

A thought of doubt entered his mind as he got closer and closer to the cave.

After a moment when nothing happens, he says "so, its the other one. Pardon me." Stepping around you he approaches Lee. His horn lights up again, only this time, something happens. Lee's appearance waivers, then fades. Where a tan unicorn once was standing, there was now a changeling. Lee backpedals across the tracks in a desperate motion, trying to get away from David. David laughs at his efforts and says, "Nowhere to run you freak of nature." And slowly stalks after Lee, drawing one of his daggers as he does.

Seth watched the rainbow-maned pony leave as the new guard arrived to guard him. Of all the missions he could have chosen to fallow, he was assigned to this one. Now look where he was, about to stand trial to Celesta herself for an attempted bombing on her while he secretly carried the bomb with him. If he ever escaped from this mess, he was going to make a mad dash to the northern mountains. At least there wasn't war there.

 

Taking a light bow, the wolf looked to Celesta atop the throne. Hearing what his supposed agent friend requested for a punishment, Seth turned to him with a slight annoyed look. He was not going to die here.

Celestia sat upon her throne looking down on Agririon and Seth. Smiling as if she knew what he was thinking, she says "Welcome back to Equestria Seth. I do apologize for shooting you down, but as you know, these are cautious times. I do also apologize for the less then welcoming committee, but again, I must be cautious." Turning her attention on to Mirage, she says "Ah, Private Mirage, has Captain Dash delivered the bomb to the labs yet?"

Red stares at the situation with his mouth wide open.

"These are the times I wished I was an unicorn... " He finally mutters, pulling out his small knife as well from his backpack. A changeling was something he had never seen before, but he knew what it was from countless stories.

*An outcast of something... of course, how did I no think of that before... and him not wanting to go to Celestia... so obvious... that place is packed with unicorns. He was going to stab me in the back halfway on the rails.*

"Need any help with that?" He asks, slowly walking towards Lee as well.
