AppleGearRising 526 April 2, 2014 Share April 2, 2014 We've been hounded ceaselessly by DDOS attackers for a bloody age now, I've counted at least 5 instances where the site has struggled to work at all over the last week alone. I'm just curious; what measures are being taken against these hackers to stop them from doing this? I appreciate that it must be difficult for the staff to keep having to deal with this but when can we be sure that it'll end? Ribbonfree 2,383 April 2, 2014 Share April 2, 2014 DDOS attacks are more difficult to properly resolve than it seems. Just ask Riot Games and their still regularly DDOSed servers. I... don't think that could cause such a crash in the forums, lol. But seriously, we've been facing these DDoS attacks for a while now, and it's starting to get on my nerves as someone that spends a lot of time on these here forums. We've been getting these attacks and I know that we need a way of protection with some resources, but I'm getting ahead of myself. We just need more staff around here, some to help in the forums, and others to help prevent attacks like these.
