open Wrath of Sombra (RP)

Xena hid in the shadows, as he killed Sombra's followers. "This world shall know pain and fear." He growled, as he noticed Lightning climbing the crystal palace. "I don't thinks so. Sombra's mine." The aura beast then ran through the city, and broke through the doors of the palace.

 

Sombra was surprised to see Xena break through the doors, and backed up slightly. "You don't scare me." He said, as he fired a burst of magic at the aura beast.

 

Xena smirked, as the magic was absorbed into him. "You are a fool fool, but I made a promise and I intend to keep it."

 

With that said, a light flew out of Xena, and landed on the ground. It eventually formed into the material form of Sombra, but wasn't corrupted by darkness. "Hello, Shadow." He said, before glancing at Xena. "Make sure we aren't interrupted. I want to kill this thing myself."

 

The aura beast nodded, and backed off. He would intervene if necessary, but wouldn't do anything else.

"I-I can't believe that you don't believe me, I have no clue where he is, sure it's his castle, but I still haven't seen him, and pleases be careful I don't want you to get hurt" Luna said looking at the dragan/Alicorn. "I'm not tricking you, I promise please lesson to me" Luna said almost crying.

Cherry looked really, really, really, worried for golden, "I have some more painkiller in the bag, but I think it's too soon for you to take more. Do you think you can make it all the way back to the castle in your condition? I really don't want you to die."

 

Where would she be if Golden died? Sad depressed lonely, like when her husband died. But this time she would still have the kid. She almost trough that that would be harder. She Shook her head.

 

"Bye miss Applejack!" Tulip said returning the hug before trotting off to the two mares waiting or her. @,

Golden nodded and kept her eyes shut. "As long as I keep my eyes closed, I'll he fine. I just need you and Tulip to help me walk through the Everfree to the castle." Golden breathed heavily as she fought to keep her vision under control.

"Bye Tulip! Don't be a strangers!" Applejack called out to the group and then looked at the barn. She chuckled at Apple Bloom and went to the orchard to buck some apples.

"Right, I've had enough of you!" She roared out and counted... "1...2...3..!!!!!!" She suddenly roared out as loud as she could, blowing hot breathing at the mare, not so much fire but warm smelly breath, flinging the traitor mare away from her. Worse case scenario she probably crash landed on the rough with the rest of Sombra's troops as she hoped.

 

She sighed with relief and looked up, she spotted the balcony that Sombra usually keeps a view on...and reached for it, pulling herself up. Only to her dismay he wasn't here, but she could clearly hear voices on the level below. She decided to make the most of what she had with her dragon strength...and punched a whole through the castle walls and stuck her head inside. There as if by planned, she spotted King Sombra...along with that monster wolf and another being... "What in the name of Equestria?" She sniffed, only to growl at the evil shadow she remembered before. "Sombra..." She growled.

"Right, let's go than." Cherry helped Golden to her hooves and gave her an encouraging smile that she wasn't sure the other mare would see."I think the castle is this way."

 

Tulip was by their sides now, "I'm soooo excited to come back, the other fillies are super nice!" She said to Tulip and Cherry, than she gasped, "I should invite them to my birthday party!" @,

Golden smiled in Tulip's general direction. "It would be nice to see them again." Golden agreed with Tulip. She walked slowly for a bit and tgen stopped. She carefully opened her eyes and the harsh contrast made her quickly shut them again. Through that glimpse she figured out where they needed to go. She raised a hoof and pointed. "That way to the castle." She told Cherry.

Luna started to fly before she could tough the ground and flew up to where the dragan is. "Oh hey Sombra I guess, where were you when I was looking for you earlier" Luna said in a happy chearfull voice to hide the pain that she has. "Oh and this Alicorn/dragan is trying to take over the castle" Luna said sill in a chearfull voice.

(OOC seriously? Theres a battle going on and your all smiles about it? Oh not to mention Tempest has turned into XENA a wolf like creature and he's already in the room with Sombra... thought you should know.)

 

She snarled at the pegasus traitor and reached forth to grab her with her talons. "Get out of here before you get yourself killed!" she snarled.

"Why would I get myself hurt, I'm being careful though, besides I can just fly away when I think it's the best time, to bad I'm horrible in swordmanship, and I don't have my archery kit" Luna said dropping her smile then pasted out from the pain.

The shadow of Sombra smirked, and fired a blast of magic at the true king. "You will die, and I will take over." He shouted.

 

Sombra dodged the attack, and slammed his hooves into the ground, causing crystal spikes to rapidly grow. "There's only one problem. I won't let you." He said, his voice dead serious.

 

Xena smirked as he watched the fight. "It looks like my work here is done. Now, time to right the wrongs of the past." He said. With that, Xena exited the castle, and noticed Celestia. "I was wondering when I would have the satisfaction of killing you. Say hello to my bretheran, when you burn in Tartarus." The aura beast then lunged at the alicorn, with the intent to kill. He didn't care who got in his way.

Bliss hardly knew what was going on...there was another unicorn that looked like the King Sombra but didn't have the helemet or glowing aura like the King..."What is going on...?" When suddenly the wolf creature aimed his sights on Celestia,

 

Right then nothing mattered...her fellow alicorn Princess was in trouble...and she had to react...She leapt off the castle just as the wolf did, flapping her wings vigorously, and through herself into the line of fire, breathing hot flames in doing so, giving Celestia enough time to fly out of the way. "NOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!" her dragon voice ranged out as the fire spit in all directions, it was chaos and confusion at once.

Xena roared in pain, as the flames touched his skin. He then glared at Lightning. "Stay out of this." He growled, as he fired a spike of aura at the dragon. The aura beast then slashed at a few of Celestia's guards with his claws. He didn't care who he had to kill to get to Celestia.

 

Celestia grit her teeth in anger, and fired a beam of magic at Xena. "You haven't changed at all." She said. "You're still a old fool, though I do have one question. How did you survive for all these years?"

 

Ivy watched the fight from a rooftop, and sighed. "I can't let Tempest get himself killed." She thought, as she made her way to the scene, jumping from roof to roof.

The beam went right through her wing, a shot of sheering pain went down her arm and into her chest as she struggled to keep air born. "LEAVE HER ALONE!!!" She roared out as she started to fall from the attack of the monster wolf. In a last ditch effort to make a difference to help protect one of their own, she latched onto the wolf's leg, bringing him down with her in the hopes to spare Celestia.

 

"I don't know...who you are," she muffled under her teeth, "or what your mission is...BUT I WON'T LET YOU HURT THE ALICORN OF THE SUN!!!" She crunched down through his fur and through the bone, crying as she went...

Xena grit his teeth in pain, and glared at Lightning. He wasn't angry, mostly just shocked. "He said you would be different, but I guess he was wrong." He said, as one of his tails wrapped around the dragon's neck. "You may have a different form, but that doesn't change who you are, Lightning Bliss." Xena's form then began to emit smoke. "Now you see who really controls all of my power."  With that, the aura beast disappeared back into the amulet to heal, and left Tempest on the ground, unconscious.

 

Sombra grit his teeth as he and his shadow clashed. The battle had been going on for the past few minutes, and the king was starting to feel the exhaustion. "I won't let you win, like you did all those years ago." He thought, as he spikes of crystal shot from the ground. Unfortunatly, his dark side had the same idea, and the attacks hit their marks, killing both sides of the mind of Sombra.

As the wolf evaporated seeming to disappear into thin air...she fell from the sky, shocked and saddened that she had gone far to hurt another...not only was that other she thought enemy...but also was one of her comrades...

 

She crashed to the ground, slidding into a building, just missing Tempest's body as she came to a halt. The sudden shock of the force and injuries caused by it...finally gave way for her magical control to disperse...and slowly and surely, she transformed back to her alicorn self, laying helplessly next to Tempest. She stared at him...his foot appeared damaged from where she bitten the monster wolf...

 

"Tempest..." she called to him, "I'm...sorry...I only did...what I thought...was ri-" her eyes shut, closed and unconcious.

Tempest slowly woke up, and stood. He then glanced at Celestia and Luna, and sighed. "Consider this my resignation. I won't be coming back." He said. "Be sure to take care of Lightning, and I'm sure I'll be able to find peace." With that, Tempest turned and began to trot away. He didn't care what other ponies thought of him, nor did he look as they glared at him. The bat pony was surprised when Ivy left the crowd and trotted next to him. 

 

Celestia glanced at her sister and the two came to a silent agreement. The alicorn of the sun then trotted after the pony that had changed everything. "Wait, Tempest. I'm sorry." She said, making the bat pony and unicorn stop. " I was scared for the safety of Equestria, but I was wrong. Please, forgive me."

 

The bat pony felt like a light had shone through the darkness, and he smiled slightly. "Like I would ever leave your sister's guard." He said. "It's true that I don't agree with everything that you've done, but the past is in the past. There's nothing we can do to change that."

 

Luna smiled as she stood by her sister. "Welcome back, my friend." She said.

She awoke and saw a sight she was relieved to see... Tempest, Luna and Celestia coming to terms with each other. The battle seemed over or at least under control...and a sense of peace and serenity fell over the city...For some oddly reason to her, it made her horn flicker in a rainbow light. She slowly stood up and dusted her shoulders off, feeling surprisingly well, like something happened and she was never hurt to begin with. Rather then question so, she merely smiled, and looked upon the batpony who ended all of it.

 

"Thank you Tempest," she whispered under her breathe, not caring if he heard or not, "thank you for ending this war...quickly as it began..." She sighed and fluttered up into the air, and then, with surprising control, focused her magic... "Time to go home...I miss you my love..." and teleported away in a clap of rainbow magic.

Night Lights the black wyvern dragon had been busy the whole day, unaware of the war that was going on, nor did he push himself into worry, knowing it would all sort itself knowing Lightning Bliss was part of it. As he clawed out another large blue gem, smacking his lips at wanting eat it, he was startled by the sudden clap followed by hint of smoke of a recent pony's teleportation just inside his cave. Quickly he clawed his way down and landed on the edge, readying for a fight.

 

"Who's there?!" He roared out, daring any pony to challenge him. He waited for a response, but none came, "come on I know you're in there! I smell a teleportation clap when it appears! This is home of Princess Lightning Bliss and her Husband! ME! Night Lights! Son of-"

 

"Son of Prya," she answered him as she walked out from hiding behind his trove of gems teasingly, "prince of the wyvern dragon clans of the Northern Mountains...Only existing shape shifting dragon...and my beloved husband..."

 

His guard dropped, as did his wings and jaw, "B-Blissy?" He took a step towards her, extending his winged claws.

 

"Hi honey... I'm home!" She fluttered up to his face and hugged his beak, kissing it repeatly.
