Well if the elevator can support the necessary weight of a 300-foot pony (which would be larger than a blue whale) then it stands to reason to assume that it is also quite large, large enough in fact to give quite accommodating room for the cougars as well. Therefore, the picture you showed was not-to-scale.

 

Still, I would consider it strongly inadvisable to enter the elevator.
