White Tone

 

I step out of the train, carrying a suitcase under my wing. I close my eyes and breathe in the fresh air. The breeze gently ruffles my feathers as I leave the train station. Ponies of different races, colors and cutie marks pass by me, all heading to the same direction. Ponyville. As I close in on the Town Hall, I examine a pink pony with a strange pink trunk next to her. She screams "Welcome to Ponyville!" Whenever somepony passes by. I purposefully weave around her. I step in the town hall, looking around. I notice a billboard with jobs, and a desk. I walk up to the desk and the pony behind it. "You must be White Tone." Says the pony, eyeing me from head to hoof. "Yes I am." I say confidently, with a slight prick of fear that something might go wrong. "Welcome to Ponyville." She says and passes a key to me with her magic. "Your home is right past the Bakery, Sugarcube Corner." The clerk says and goes back to reading a document. I then trot over to the billboard, holding the key in my mouth. They were job offers, and job requests. Gemfinder, Baker, Model, Maid... Musician for a party. Jackpot. I look at the name on the flyer. Rainbow Dash and Pinkie Pie, can be found at Sugarcube corner. This just gets more and more convenient. I leave the townhall and begin trotting to Sugarcube corner. It was quite obvious which building it was, assuming it looked like a gingerbread house.

I walk down the street when I notice a pony walking to sugar cube corner I haven't ever seen before. I go to them before they enter and say "um hey I'm burning passion and noticed your new in town so before you go in there get something to cover your eyes You would think it doesn't but getting hit in the face with confetti out of a cannon hurts so uh I warned you"

I walk down to sugar cube corner when I see a mare who seems new in town.I quickly go up to her and say "do not enter there whiteout considering the following there WILL be a party. And the pink one I bet you've seen already is behind all of this her name is pinkie pie.

Wear a helmet this is a PINKIE party after all so follow these steps and you will be fine actually Oll go in there with you and introduce you to everyone so I guess let's hop in oh and also my names Burning passion what's yours"

Amaya.

 

My eyes slowly open, and as I look around my room I wonder what time it is. I yawn, and stretch out my front hooves like I do every morning. I don't really feel like getting up though. Maybe i should just stay in bed all day. Yeah, that would be nice. Unfortunately, I have things to do. I force myself out of bed, and my horn lights up when I use magic to make my bed. After my morning routine is done, I walk outside into Ponyville. I squint my eyes a little bit, as the sunlight seems to be rather bright this morning. Or maybe it's just that I woke up?

 

I trot through the bustling town of Ponyville, wondering what I'm going to do with my day off. As I pass Sugarcube Corner, I swear I see a pony I have seen before. Is that White Tone? Nah, it couldn't be. What would a musician of their skill be doing in a small town like this?

 

I keep on walking with no real direction. I don't have much to do today, so I just casually stroll throughout Ponyville on this fine, sunny day.

"I-I'm fine." I say. I really didn't want to interact with ponies yet. I flush. "Sorry...Gotta go." I gallop away to my home. I'd have to talk to Rainbow and Pinkie Pie about that later.

I sit in my new house, finally finished unpacking.  I sit at my keyboard, using my wings to play a song. It was one of my more depressing, sad melodies, but hey, why not? I hum quietly, trying to get my mind off of all of the stress of moving into a new town. Especially a town where people were friendly  enough to offer so much.

     My saddlebags loaded with books and my muzzle in "A Text of Magical Frivolity and Practical Japery" I trot down the street toward the Ponyville Library to return all my borrowed books and to see what new stock might be available. I look up from my daunting text as I pass by the uniquely styled gingerbread house, thinking I should grab something for breakfast before getting lost in books again, to I see some poor pony getting a lecture in front of the door.

 

     "Yea, Maybe later" I mutter to myself as I go back to my book. Completely oblivious to my surroundings I crash into a mare going the opposite way. My heavy book smashes straight in the poor mares face and I trip over her as she falls backward. 

     

     "I'm so terribly sorry" I apologize, as I help that mare up. I can't help feel that I know her form somewhere, she looks familiar and when I see the cutie mark it hits me. "Amea! How are you? It is Amea right? I'm not talking to a complete stranger who has no idea who I am am I?"

Ow! Oh man, that one hurt...I look upwards to see a gray stallion apologizing. This makes me feel seriously embarrassed. I must have bumped into him. I feel pretty stupid now. Why couldn't I just look where I was going?

 

He helps me back up, and begins to apologize."Don't worry about it" I say with a slightly awkward chuckle. I look off to the side for a second, and then back at him.

 

I avert my eyes to his and something hits me. I've seen him before. He starts talking about how he knows me, and he even almost gets my name right. 

 

This must be that one stallion I met in Canterlot. Yeah, it's all coming back to me now. Argh! What was his name? He remembered my name for the most part, and I haven't a clue as to what his is? I can't ask him what it is. I'll look even dumber. Maybe I can try to remember it. Was it Garth? No, that's not it. Evermore? No...

 

"I remember you. We met in Canterlot, didn't we?" I say as I try to put on a smile.

"Yes we did, Everlast at your service." I make a bow. "It is always a pleasure to meet a friendly face. Where were you off to? I haven't had a good breakfast yet, so if you have some free time Mind if I take it? I'll be in town for a couple of weeks while I do some research, but I suppose I will have time to catch up with past acquaintances."

I have nothing better to do, so I suppose there's no reason not to go have breakfast with an old acquaintance. 

 

"Sure, that sounds great" I say with a smile. 

 

Catching up with Everlast should be fun. 

 

Also, part of me is still wondering. Was that really White Tone I saw? Maybe I should keep an eye out for them, just in case. Getting to meet them would be awesome.

I wake up on a cloud, I've slept in until noon again but I'm wondering how I got up here. "Oh well" I say and do a few tricks in the air, a few loop-the-loops and corkscrews, then I fly so fast that a lightning bolt sandwiched between two streaks of dark blue forms behind me and I do a sonic electro-boom. "that-was-AWSOME!" says a cyan rainbow maned Pegasus who has apparently been watching me the entire time "thanks" I say, I haven't met anypony in this town yet so to me this compliment dosnt feel too special. "My names midnight flash, what's yours?" I ask "the name's rainbow dash" the Pegasus says in a voice that seems strangely awesome "wanna fly with me?" She asks and of course I say yes

Silver grunted as he unloaded the last load of ore from the shipment that he had ordered. Ah... Finally, all done setting up the forge... He thought about who he wanted to share the grand opening with, and immediately facehoofed. Darn! I was so preoccupied with setting up that I forgot to meet ponies... With a new resolve to find some friends in ponyville, where he'd recently moved, he set out, flapping his wings in the morning breeze. He saw a yellow pegasus walking to the store, a pair of ponies headed to a restraunt, and two pegusi soaring above. Well, I haven't eaten today... Let's go see what those ponies are headed to eat he thought as he trotted off to meet them.

Midnight continued to soar with rainbow dash and she actually seemed pretty awesome, making the compliment from earlier mean much more to him, he told her that he didn't actually have any friends at the moment. When he told her this she got a look on her face like he had just told her that he killed somepony. She became happy again soon though "no problem" she said "I'll just introduce you to some of my friends" "okay" I said, dash seemed pretty awesome so her friends must be pretty awesome too. The first place she took me was this giant party in a bakery that looked like a gingerbread house, as soon as I walked in I got hit in the face with this kind of cannon loaded with conffeti, it hurt a lot more than you think, and my ears still haven't stopped ringing from the blast. Just my luck that the first pony that rainbow dash introduced me to was the owner of that bucking cannon, but she seemed nice enough so I decided to be her friend.

I hold open the door for Amaya, always the gentlecolt. Behind us lands a pegasus that looks exactly like myself. I hold the door open for him as well while admiring his colors. " Well you look like amicable fellow. "You hungry? I'll buy." The door closes behind us and I sit down beside the white unicorn mare. "You don't mind if I bring another guest to the party do you? I couldn't turn him down, I mean look at that coat..." I chuckle.

Silver chuckled at the joke, and said, "Mind if I join you? I've not really met many ponies in this town, and you two looked friendly enough. As long as I'm not intruding, of course." He smiled, but realized that he was forgetting something. "Ah, I almost forgot! My name is silver dusk, pleasure to meet you!" He extended his hoof in greeting.

The pink pony introduces herself as pinky pie. I party with them for a while until I realize that I haven't eaten lunch or breakfast so I tell dash that I'm going to get a bite to eat and will be back soon. While I was flying with rainbow dash earlier I saw a few ponys walk in to a restaurant, I decide to go there for some food and find an empty table. I saw the ponys I had seen walk in earlier plus one extra pony. But I can get pretty shy sometimes so I just sit down... Alone

OC: Stellar Nova

Stellar strode into the town of Ponyville, slightly intimidated by the amount of activity, and ponies that bustled around seemingly all caught up in work or fun. She got a few strange looks by the townsfolk that were obviously not busy enough to notice her, she could read their faces almost immediately. Who's that pony? She'd seen the look a lot, she never stayed in one place too long, always leaving a town before she could make any real friends. Stellar wasn't sure whether she would ever be able to settle down, and she felt a small tinge of loneliness nag at her, but it dissipated quickly. She gave a fake smile to the two ponies that were glaring at her, and continued on her way. It was then that she realised just how hungry she really was, and Stellar glanced around the town searching for some place to eat. There was a house strangely shaped like a gingerbread house, she approached it eagerly, her stomach remembering that it hadn't eaten anything that day. As Stellar got close enough to peer into one of the windows, her heart fluttered. The gingerbread was far too crowded for her liking, there were ponies everywhere, it looked as though there was some sort of event happening. Stellar supposed that she wasn't welcome, there must be somewhere else to eat she thought to herself.

I sit down at a booth with two look a like stallions. I glance over at a nearby table, and see a blue pegasus sitting all by himself, and he looks kind of lonely. We already have a little party going, so why not expand it? The more the merrier after all. 

 

I try to get his attention, so I can invite him to our table of newly-formed acquaintances.. "Hi there. Are you all alone? You should join us."

"I'm Everlast." I give Silver Dusk's hoof a hearty shake. I introduce him to Amaya who is currently trying to convince a lone pegasus behind us to join our little party. "Hey. we have room for one more, and unless you're waiting for someone else to show up, there is no use using up a whole new booth." The waiter arrives and I order for myself a breakfast hayburger and a mug of fresh apple cider. "What will you guys and gals have? I'm talking to you too lonesome pegasus behind me. What is your name if you don't mind me asking?"

"My n-n-name is m-m-midnight flash" I say starting to get nervous again for some reason "I'm just hungry, i-i-it doesn't matter w-what I eat" but then I feel confident again "sorry" I say "those mood swings have been happening since I was little, I'll have a hayburger"

I finish my food quickly, say bye to the other ponys and explain that I have to get back to a party but I would catch up with them soon then left back to meet dash and pinky at the party.

I continue towards nowhere really and notice a yellow pony with a bunch of animals around her so I say "isn't a bit to many pets to have for one person" and the yellow mare says "I'm trying to gets these pets a new home so which one do you want well if you uhhhhm want one that is uhhh" I say " sure" and point to a cool looking bird thing" she says "Uhhm that's uh pheonix THIER extremely hard to take care of but uhh If you still want it I UGHHHHH guess" O say "sure" and take it to my new place

"Well he certainly wasn't feeling up to socializing," silver said, as the stammering stallion left seemingly as quickly as possible. "Ah well. Anyway, what brings you two to ponyville? Anything interesting?"

"I'm here for a few weeks on a business trip, Research and such."  I smile at the waiter as he brings a tray to the table and pay for the food. "It doesn't hurt that there is a little musical competition here. I've been noticing musicians coming into town over the past few days in preparation for it. Are either of you here for it?"

I trot into Sugarcube Corner, hovering into the corner. I scan the crowd for Rainbow Dash and Pinkie Pie. My ears prick up at the sound of somepony saying "musicians." I instead scan the crowd for them, spotting the pony. I slowly walk over to him. "Sorry for butting in, but I'm a musician. My name is White Tone." I say, nodding my head.
