How did you find MLP Forums?: I trod the path called Google.

How you became a fan of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic: I'm not sure that I am lol? I find the art style appealing, and I'm fond of select characters. I'd say I'm at that crossroads that every man (pony?) inevitably encounters: SHOULD I watch MLP:FIM?

My interests / tastes are a bit on the eclectic side.  I love:

 

The writings of H.P. Lovecraft.  Totally missed an opportunity to "brohoof" a forum member with a Lovecraft sig.

 

The musical compositions of Johann Sebastian Bach.  In particular, the English Suites, The Well-Tempered Clavier, and the Sonatas & Partitas for Solo Violin.  And everything else, practically xD.

 

Tuna fish and green olives.  Sometimes together!

 

Colorful cartoon ponies, apparently.

 

Instrumental jazz.

 

Video games.  Specifically Nintendo, more specifically Super Mario.  I've played and completed hundreds of games (yes, I keep a detailed list).

 

Collectible card games.  Recently purchased a theme deck for the MLP CCG.  It plays kind of like the Call of Cthulhu and A Game of Thrones card games.  Really lol.

 

Octopuses and spiders and cats, oh my!

 

Making long boring lists...

 

Anime / manga.  Akira is my favorite film of all time, and Idunno what my favorite manga is.  Possibly Dragon Ball, Jojo's Bizarre Adventure, or Yu-Gi-Oh!

 

Drawing, I SUPPOSE.  Writing, on a good day.  Cooking, on a hungry day.

 

Greek mythology.  Medusa, cyclops, harpies...  I already did the "oh my" bit...

Hi! You do have eclectic interests. I like that. Hopefully you have a good time here on the forums and watching the show. And yes, you should watch MLP: FIM. You wont regret it. Well, you might have doubts when you start to realize the huge amount of cash you're spending after you begin going crazy with buying MLP toys and figurines and clothing and all kinds of merchandise... but then you'll realize it was worth it, cause why not celebrate your love for an awesome T.V. show with an amazing online community/fandom. And your family and friends might think you've gone insane, but that's okay cause all of us here will know you're perfectly sane for watching a show with colourful cartoon ponies.
