   Saddened by the fact that he didn't get to spend time with his sister at the Games or after his magic was restored after the Tirek incident, Cadance suggests that she and Shining Armor invite Twilight and her friends to the empire for a vacation, and Big Mac asks to go too, because his father read him stories about the crystal empire, and his father's final wish was for big mac to see the empire with his own eyes. Once there, Big Mac meets and begins a friendship with Shining Armor based on the love and protection they give their sisters. I need title ideas, and feedback. (slightly changed it, so it takes place after the season 4 finale)

I think an interaction between Shining and Big Mac could be pretty heartwarming.

 

As for a title, hmm, "Crystal Clear Bonds"? I'm not really that great with titles.

any ideas for Big Mac and Shining Armor's first meeting? I was thinking of Shining Armor accidentally dropping a quill and Big Mac, being the kind soul he is, finds it and returns it to him. (I could also just have Twilight introduce them, but hey, isn't that just the least bit...generic?)

I was thinking of having Big Mac hear of Shining Armor from his sister before going to the empire and over time view him as one of the most noble ponies in all of Equestria, as well as eventually adopting Shining Armor as one of his personal heroes. does that sound like a good idea? feedback anyone? please?
