Spacer looked over to see the same orange stallion she had seen before. "Yup that would be me, I'm impressed on your driving skills, you must be some sort of pro" She smiled at the stallion as the elevator doors opened. She walked in "So are you one of ponies who won the sweepstakes as well? I gotta say I was so excited to come down here. I have never been here before." She pressed one of the top floors buttons.

"I'm from... huh?" he felt a tap on his shoulder, then turned to she Creamy, running away crying, from the looks of it. 

 

What was that about? He turned to Shooting. "Sorry, if you'll excuse me for a moment..." He turned around and followed Creamy. When he caught up to her, she was in tears.

 

"Hey, what's wrong...?" he asked her, trying to comfort her.

Nitro realized that he was on the same floor with the mare. "Yep, I'm a pro street rqcer. Been doing that ever since I had that terrible accident. Nitro said stuttering a bit becaus of the memory. "And yes I'm one of the winners from that contest. Nitro stated.

As Creamy's voice was breaking, she said, "I'm sorry. I just w-wanted to a-ask you to d-dinner on F-Friday. But, it seems you like Shooting better.". She started walking to the elevator, but saw Raze looking at her in shock.

 

Creamy thought to herself, *i just wanted to go to dinner with him on Friday! but shooting blew it for me. So much for tomorrow. I'll just hide it from her.*

Raze walked up to her, and put a reassuring hoof on her shoulder. "Look, I didn't actually agree to it yet. Honestly, I don't know what I'm gonna do... I need time to think." He smiled. "You don't have to make a big deal out of all of this. You worried me for a second there..."

"It's fine, I'll just go ahead and look." Shooting smiled. She kept walking down the hallway.

 

That was odd. Why would she just run off? I'll ask her tomorrow when we meet up. Shooting thought as she walked down the hallway. She started humming a tune that was stuck in her head.

"I never really drove before but I bet you can do all sorts of things in that car of yours. I usually fly to where I'm going but in this case I ended up taking the train" She laughed as the doors to the elevator opened. She walked out and down the hall a couple doors until she came up to her number. "Looks like this ones mine" She said putting a key in the door then looking to the orange stallion. "My names Spacer by the way." She gave a sweet smile.

Nitro, Nitro Spark." Nitro stated as he extended his hoof out for a hoof shake. "I fly and drive but mostly...d-drive..." Nitro stated not wanting to spread his metal plated wings out in front of Spacer. "And Spacer...that's a cool name...are you...by any chance a......DJ?" Nitro asked.

"Nice to meet you Nitro" She shook his hoof glancing at his wings then back up to him with a smile that grew big at his question. "Why yes I am a DJ, am I that popular? I thought I was only known locally." She adjusted her saddlebags to shift the weight. "Hey Nitro, if your not busy tonight we should go out and see the city, I bet they got lots of different things to do." She said smiling. "Can't just stay here locked away in our rooms"

"Nice to meet you Nitro" She shook his hoof glancing at his wings then back up to him with a smile that grew big at his question. "Why yes I am a DJ, am I that popular? I thought I was only known locally." She adjusted her saddlebags to shift the weight. "Hey Nitro, if your not busy tonight we should go out and see the city, I bet they got lots of different things to do." She said smiling. "Can't just stay here locked away in our rooms"

"Yeah...as a matter of fact...you can drive with me in my car around the town once we get settled. And...I happen to be the leader of a band, Discordia. Can you play any instrument?" Nitro asked as he continued to walk to the room he was assigned to. "Man she's beautiful..." Nitro thought to himself.

"That sounds great Nitro, I would love a nice drive through the city." She said. Listening to Nitro talk about himself being in a band Spacer blushed a bit "Ha umm I do play some guitar but its really bad. I mean really bad. I can't do chords for the life of me." She looked at the floor and ran a hoof along it. "I never took the proper training and well its just a little hobby I have when I'm not coming up with new mixes." She seen that his room was only a couple doors down from hers. "Well I am going to go get my things unpacked, how about meeting up when the sun sets?" She kinda felt more comfortable around Nitro and was kinda excited to see him again later.

Creamy felt better after Raze said that. She replied, "Thanks, it's just..". Creamy didn't want Raze to know that she liked him. So she said, "It's just.. I wanted to make new friends, even though I invited Shooting to the cafe with me." She also mumbled, "I like you." Raze wouldn't be able to understand her, so it was okay to say that. She waited for the Black earth pony to respond.

Raze smiled. "It's fine. Why don't I help you, uh... walk back to your room." He said the last part blushing a bit.

 

Why do I keep doing that? he thought. Gotta calm down, but... she's really pretty... gah, what are you saying, we just met! Hope she doesn't see me like this... that'd be bad, very very bad...

 

"So, what room are you staying at, anyway?" he said while trying to mask the redness on his face.

"Oh, um. My room is 2146. Thanks for offering to walk me back.". Creamy was thinking in her head, *wow, does he like me or what? ugh what am I saying*. Creamy and Raze walked to her room. "So... I'm from Canterlot. Where are you from? Sorry, I start to carry on conversations about random things." She blushed in embarrassment.

Shooting kept walking to her room. He's pretty cute. Wait, what am I thinking? I only just met him, I should get to know him first. Shooting scolded herself. She started whistling a tune. Shooting stopped whistling when she realized it was really quiet in the hallway.

"I'm from Ponyville," said Raze as he was walking. "I work as a private military contractor. The Royal Guard usually hires me for whatever it is they're planning, but sometimes I get hired by other people too, who are usually wealthy aristocrats."

"Oh... Well, that's great. My grandma grew up in Ponyville, too.". Creamy quietly said to herself, "ugh, I'm just blabbing, aren't i?".

She saw her room two steps away from where they were. When they got there, she said, "Um, thanks for walking me here. You're quite the nice one, aren't you? Well, it was nice talking to you. Bye!". The gray unicorn got her key with her magic and unlocked her door, and went inside. She thought to herself, *wow he's cute.. wait, what am I saying.. ugh.* She plopped on the sofa and turned on the TV. She saw the show, "Ponies" was on. She kept watching and realized she needed to be in the friend zone with Raze for him to like her as well. The sun was still as bright as a star, so Creamy decided to go out to the pool. As she walked to the pool, she saw Shooting. "Hey, what are you doing?".

"Yeah, nice talking to you too," Raze said as the door closed. He started to walk back and try to find Shooting so he knew that he was getting closer to his room.

 

Man, what is it with me today? Raze thought in his head. He started thinking about both Creamy and Shooting. Don't tell me I'm... ugh. What was it that mercenary work has taught you? Discipline... discipline yourself... but... they're both so beautiful, I... GAAAH!

 

It was only after he snapped out of his daydream that he realized Shooting was right in front of him. He snapped back in surprise, his face completely red.

 

"Gyah-hahahahah-hey, there, beautif-I mean, Shooting!! Hey there, Shooting, I didn't, I did--oh geez..." he dropped his head to make sure she didn't see him blushing.

 

"Let's just find our rooms now, yeah?"

Shooting giggled at Raze's actions. "Want to pretend that moment never happened?" Shooting asked. That was pretty amusing though. She thought.

 

"Sure. Hey, so, want to do dinner tonight?" Shooting asked, smiling. Please say yes, please say yes, please say yes. Wait, why am I wanting him to say yes? She thought.

"N-n-nonono, it's fine. Aci-aci-accidents, they-they-th-th-they happen...just fugehaboutit," Raze said, trying to regain his composure. He lifted his head, and tried to find his room with Shooting.

 

"Oh,y-y-you want to go to dinner with me? Yeah, I like you--uuuuurr idea! I mean, I like that idea. You're pretty... NICE to ask me for something like that! I would like to go on a dat-- dinner with--ugh. I, WOULD, LIKE, TO, GO, TO, DINNER, WITH, YOU!" He half-spoke, half-shouted the last part, his face even redder than before.

 

"Sorry... I'm falling apart here, and I don't know why..." he said to Shooting.

Damn it, military training, where did you go?! he thought to himself.

"What time do you want to meet up then?" Shooting giggled.

 

She looked at the plaques, the numbers were getting closer to her's.

 

"It's fine. Ooh, also, where do you want to meet?" Shooting asked.

 

She leaned close to him. "Don't worry, I'll pretend your face isn't red and that the conversation is normal and not this odd." Shooting quietly told him and went back to looking around.

Raze was surprised when Shooting leaned in close, but even more surprised by what she said.

 

Hell take me, she probably knows he thought.

 

"Well, might as well take advantage of the free stuff we get. How about the hotel restaurant? As for time... whenever you're ready; just knock on my door."

 

Finally, Raze had arrived to his room; Room 2037.

 

"So, uh..." his face turned red again. "It's a date, I guess?" he said to Shooting before he went inside.

She saw Raze's room number so she faced him.

 

"Yeah, wait, no? Um... Err... Uhh, s-s-sure... I guess?" Shooting stammered, starting to blush. She sighed. "I mean to say I guess, maybe." She said, a bit louder than she meant.

Raze laughed a bit at her reaction. "You know what I mean. Anyway, I guess I'll see you later," he said, closing the door behind him. As soon as he did, he slid down to the floor, groaning.

 

What a day, he thought to himself.

Well, better get settled in and get ready for tonight. He quickly got all of his bags unpacked, and set his acoustic guitar next to the king-sized bed. When he was finished with that, he plopped himself on the bed, exhausted.
