Clopinkie 86 May 17, 2014 Share May 17, 2014 My Favourite Mane 6 Pony: FluttershyHow did you find MLP Forums?: I wish it was a more interesting story, but a quick Google search of 'my little pony forum,' and here I am! How you became a fan of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic: It actually stemmed from another forum I'm on, where I was trying to come up with Pokemon puns from other franchises. I knew that my mod partner was a fan of My Little Pony (not a big one, but enough to have talked about it before), and I came up with 'My Little Poké.' Not terribly original, so I wanted to come up with puns on the characters' names, but had no clue who they were (for those wondering, I settled on Pika Pie, Twilight Shuckle and Absoljack). One thing led to another, and even though I told myself a few years ago that I'd never watch, I figured I'd give at least the first 2 episodes a shot. Long story short- I think I watched the entire first season in 5 or 6 days, and I was hooked! Alright, so introductions aren't really my thing, but I figured what the hay! I know, I know- bad pony joke in my first post, but I figured I'd get it out of the way now Anyway, my name's Clopinkiepie- a combination of the name of everyone's favorite pink party pony, and Clopin, a character from The Hunchback of Notre Dame (if you've never seen the Disney version- go do it!). My avatar also happens to be Pinkie dressed up like Clopin, and if it weren't for that picture, I'd probably have a different username right now. I haven't been watching the show for that long (the first time I watched was the beginning of March), but something about the charm of the show and the ever-growing fandom sucked me right in. Even guys who are mostly into sports and things like that need to have some cute, happy things in their life, and that's exactly what MLP (along with Pokemon and Animal Crossing) provides me. So while I may feel a little out place like Twilight at her first Winter Wrap Up, I'll be sure to check out all of the different sections there are to see here, and hopefully I'll find somewhere I feel at home.
