During weapon drills Marcus was interrupted by one of the staff, the man gave the letter to Marcus saying it was from command. Hearing that Marcus took the letter and read it.

 

To Marcus,

 

This letter is here to inform you, that you now hold temporary command of the base your stationed at, you will be relived of command as soon as your appointed commander arrives.

 

Serve us well, Command

 

Once Marcus finished reading the short letter he put it in a pocket and continued drilling the new mercenaries.

Hearing the buzz of my phone I looked at the messages, there were three messages I read them and decided to accept the last one knowing the benefits it could hold to have support from any source and if successful we could have a government back us.

 

I went to my laptop, and emailed them back,

 

To: The Golden Serpent

From: Marcus: Current head of Mercenary group stationed at "Land Base"

 

We will be happy to assist and I believe that we could build a lasting partnership, send me a meeting place and time I will be there.

 

 

I then got off the computer and gathered everyone to the court yard. Once arriving myself it seemed most of them actually listened and gathered.

 

"Soldiers! I have you here right now to say we have our first assignment! No details have been given but your training will intensify. You will be put into squads of sixteen, from here you will go through basic military training, that will save your worthless asses on the field. NOW DISMISSED!" Marcus yelled out

 

The mercenaries scattered and to their credit started drilling with a few slightly more "experienced" troops mostly those who washed out of basic leading them.

[Syannax the Changeling 101]

I draw out a detailed plan of attack for the malitia and head to the office to request an anouncement to be made applying to all untrained or undertrained malita merc's to report to the Weapons range at 5 AM in the morning to start off the day with basic trainning (united states miltary style basic trainning). When i reach the office i knock once and await for permission to enter. I hold a file containning daily trainning routine for the new malitia merc's

Later Marcus gathered the troops that washed out, and trained them himself, so they could train the others. Each one of them got appointed as Squad leaders in charge of 8-16 troops each. Marcus decided this would go on daily, as to quickly and effectively train everyone with out loosing quality of training in the process.

EET!! EET!! EET!! Mjölnir's head snapped to her computer. That was the mission alert!! It sounded just as Snake had knocked on her door. "Enter." Mjölnir stated offhandedly as her full attention went to her computer to read the mission mail. "Fuck! Missions already?! Damn!! I was hoping for more training time. Fuck! Okay think. Snake you have a mission. Someone wants somebody dead. I need you to go pull off an assassination in Paris, France. Sara you and I are going to assist some revolutionaries."

I enter and hand you files for the malitia trainning. "Right then, i'll leave immedietly." I look over at Mjölnir for files to breif on while i am on my way for the assasination. "I'll assasinate them quickly, safely, and some what of a modest deathof the assassinee." I tell her.

I hear my phone go off, taking it out of my pocket I look at it and flip to my emails to see I they want to see us as soon as possible. "Damn it I have virtually no help, and I have to assist a fucking revolution! GODDAMN IT! why can't things just be convenient for once!"

 

I quit my rant and ready my weapons, and after finding a good helicopter pilot in the small untrained army we have, thank god we got the thirty cals mounted on the little bird. I call for the four best we have and order them to get in the helicopter after getting their weapons loaded.

 

Once we all ready up we get to the Little Bird and head to our destination.

Sara nods, "South America eh? Sounds like a party... I'll prep our logistics chain and get my baby ready for flight. How many are we moving and where is our FOB? I'm thinking somewhere in the Dominicans would be best, but if we're farther south than that I may see if any of my Brazilian contacts are around anymore... So what's the plan ma'am. As your XO I feel like we should tell the men what we're getting into before we start. Were there any other jobs just in case this one falls through?"

"Fine. Whatever Snake, just do it and don't get caught." Mjölnir said as she tossed a sealed folder at him. Mjölnir turned toward Sara "Don't worry we'll tell them. They can't preform if they don't know what to do. If you have contacts in South America then I want you to take us to them, maybe they can give us more intel. Once we get enough info. I'll tell you my plan. As for the other jobs, there was only the assassination and one where we work for the revolutionaries enemy, the government they are trying to fight."

"Yes sir" takes the file and heads back to my office/bedroom and starts to prepare for the assasination trip. Taking the protective gear, just incase; my drogunov, my makarov and my aks-74u. I then go with a check list, i also grab my cigarettes to go with me as well. After checking and all of that, i walk out to ther railing with the wind blowing away from the rig, and decide to light another cigarette there.

 

((Wasn't sure if you wanted to go with sir or ma'am inazuma. Military army/special froces use sir for both genders. And airforce uses ma'am for the ladies))

We near the meeting place hours later, we are a half mile away when I tell the pilot to land in a nearby clearing Where he was informed another mercenary group would meet us. "I hope they fucking arrive soon." I said. I then told them to turn the helicopters engine off.

[Syannax the Changeling 101]

After gettig ready, i get out and have alittle bird take me to Paris, France. While on the way there, i start breifing on the sealed files for the assasination contract. Looking at details, after that is done i find us there, i have the pilot drop me off close by the city and i start heading there, dressed up in a casual clothing. Blending in, with my vest equipped, as well as smoking a cigarette. Looking professional i start by walking im paris enough to get a cab to take me to a nice motel some what close to my target.

Sara nods, "Well, why don't we take the job wiping out the rebels? The government will pay better, the rebels have less dangerous gear we'd be going up against, and the government obviously has reasons it treats people like it does. Do we know anything about the political goals of the rebels? Do we know what they're going to do with the country, or do we just have a flimsy and tenuous promise of 'Help later, maybe'? If you don't mind me speaking freely ma'am, as your XO I must urge you to side against the rebels. The rewards are greater, the risks are lesser, and the government can CONFIRM that they have money for us."

"Mmm. True, you do raise a point. But governments are notorious for treachery. However the same could be said of the Revolutionaries and if they betray us, we could crush them easily. Another point in the Revolutionaries favor is that they'll know the land better. But you know what? I'll go with what you said as part of your training in decision making. Very well. We will  join the government's side this time."

 

Mjölnir pressed the base-wide intercom button. "ATTENTION ALL TROOPS, PREPARE FOR BATTLE!! WE ARE GOING ON A MISSION TO QUASH A REVOLUTION!!" Mjölnir released the intercom button. "Come Sara, let's go kill some revolutionaries." Mjölnir got from behind her desk and grabbed her AK-47 and strapped it to her back then then she grabbed Sara's hand and walked out the door with Sara in tow.

Sara nods, "Yes ma'am. Thank you for taking my advice ma'am. Let's go kill some terrorists." She runs off to the helicopter and begins prepping it, barking orders to her ground crew to prepare the boats and jeeps as well. In less than half an hour the entire force is moving out. The troops meet up at the forward staging point for the government, waiting for Mjolnir to converse with the leader of the government forces for the go-ahead to attack the rebels.

In Paris, the target was standing on the balcony of a rather fancy hotel, he was wearing a heavy coat and smoking a cigar

 

In South America, the Oil Rig Team arrived into the capital city, the Presidente was standing infront of an old style palace like building, he was wearing a buisness suit with a ribbon bar, but anyone with any military experence could tell the ribbons were arranged incorrectly, the Little Bird the team came with had the Jeep carried underneath it, both vehicles were completely loaded with troops, the back of the jeep had supplies

 

The Land Team Base met up with the Golden Serpent, the leader approached them "so, you are the ones who took our offer?"

I take note of what floor he is at and look for a mid position high enough to not be spoted but not guessed, also with a clear spot of the entrance too. I take time scouting buidlings for the right height from a higher point of view. After picking one, i go to the hotel he is staying at and find the stair case going up. Checking each floor for security guards, cameras, and other incovinices. I also look to see if there sre security guards posted at any doors on the level that i spotted the guy. Acting like i belong there arousing no supision in anyone. After gathering everything i find it being easier to take him out with my drogunov. All i have to do is find a spot, make it my nest there and be ready to take him out. I prep carefully, even locking or blocking the only access to the roof.

In Paris, the target enjoyed his smoke break, while Snake watched the floor he was on, 2 men in suits walked over to the targets room and knocked on the door, on of them took out a Micro Uzi and waited by the door the second one continued to knock at the door

I see this and grab a someones suitcase they have left on the trolly and swipe a master key from one of the maids without her noticing. I start walking down towards the men acting like i have a room next them aswell as if i belong here. When i get about 5-10 ft pull out my knife and slice the micro uzi carrier's neck and then pull my makarov aiming at the opposition's chest "freeze" i calmly and quitely.

 

(Thought of this on the fly. Lol so yeah... sneak attack basicly)

as soon as his friend was grabbed from behind he pulled out an M-9 and pointed at snakes head "if you fire, youll alert the target, you dont even know who the target is" he knocks on the door again " can you take me out and a highly deadly assassin whos expecting a hit on him?"

I remain silent holding the guy still usig him as a human sheild, my knife at the guy's throat and my gun trainned on the other man. "You'll do the same if you pull the trigger" i keep the knife ready to cut and ready to move out of the way "and do you really need two people to kill one man? It seems rather pointless to have two unless there is company expected inside, or that this man is realy that good at his job." I revel in a moments notice "Maybe it would be unwise for us to be in this position." I keep my sheild up and keep my gun aimed at him while also making it diffcult for his friend to move well. "You first or your friend dies, then you" i keep my voice low for him and his friend to hear, i step off to the side where my gun stays trainned at him and his friend as a sheild.

Suddenly a shotgun blast blasts through the door, in the moment, the man in the suit shoots snake in the leg, and then the one with the Micro Uzii elbow bashes snake and gets away from him, they take cover from behind a wall, the target shouts "YOULL NEVER TAKE ME!"

I drop then drag myself backwards, refusing the pain in my leg, i get up and take cover around the cornor and watch what unfolds from behind the secnes wounded, waiting for an opprotunity to prosent it's self to take out my target, and assasins that are after him as well.

The man in the suit started firing his pistol at Snake, the other one emptied his mag into the targets door, the target yelled out "YOU MISSED WHY DONT YOU COME IN HERE AND TRY AGAIN!" several screaming voices were heard, the elevator door opened and two security guards walked out, the pulled out Glock 17s "DROP YOUR WEAPONS!"

I had placed my weapons back into my holsters and my knife hidden away as i had dragged my self before the guards came in the area. I was taking cover as they where yelling to drop weapons. A trail of blood lead to me when i was moving out of the way. "Damn it" i say quitely then look quickly to see if i had been spotted once realizing what else had happened, i had gotten a bullet in my left arm up close to the shouler and a graze wound on my right forearm. 'Can't get caught' i think to my self, i get up and start going for a window or a flight of stairs. Which ever is closest and easiest toget to. I do my best to ignore the pain of my wounds.

the guards were quickly dispatched by the men in suits, the one with the M-9 went after Snake as the other one took cover at the targets door frame,  The man in the suit fires the M-9 at Snake, while the other suit has a fire fight with the target "theres no escape!" the one with the M-9 said
