Dreambiscuit 9,691 July 20, 2017 Share July 20, 2017 I go to the gym a lot just to keep my weight where I want it and to keep generally toned, but I'm not a weightlifter by any stretch of the imagination! I do mostly cardio and aerobic stuff and sometimes use very light weights. I do wear my MLP shirts on occasion but it doesn't turn a lot of heads I guess because I'm a girl, so no big deal. Not that it should matter. But there's certainly no Bulk Biceps kind of thing going on where I'm concerned! I'd look seriously weird with that kind of mass on me! Vulcan 3,254 July 20, 2017 Share July 20, 2017 This is my jam! I'm no longer as good as I used to be, I pretty much lost my abdominals no more than 2 years ago due to a... Complication. My favourite day is leg day and I really dislike triceps and shoulder isolations! They are the worst! =_= Dead lifts are my favourite exercise! I used to slouch a lot in my early teens and I learned it was due to a weak back muscles so the Dead lift really helped me out with my posture and I'll always be really thankful for that. Hierok 11,831 July 20, 2017 Share July 20, 2017 I think you can better do a real sport where you build up stamina. Sorry everybody. If I don't understand something or Interpret it wrong, I'm dutch. Sometimes I gamble for meanings of the words. And sometimes I write the wrong words, like week and weak for example. Sorry for it already. knuckels207 1 September 25, 2018 Share September 25, 2018 I happened to stumble upon this thread through a Google search. I'm not sure if this will even be read, seeing as the most recent post was on August 4th of 2017, but I still figured that I could chime in anyways. Not exactly a bodybuilder, but I am Olympic weightlifter and am training to compete at the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games. But, I do "bodybuild" on certain days in order to maintain muscle that I currently have and also to develop new neuron pathways. If anyone is curious, these are my personal stats: Height: 5' 6" Weight: 155 LBS Body Fat Percentage: 8% Bench: 285 LBS Back Squat: 425 LBS Front Squat: 375 LBS Deadlift: 485 LBS Clean & Jerk: 335 LBS Snatch: 275 LBS I'm extremely closeted, so I'd never wear anything pony related when I train. As we all know, the target demographic for the show is little girls; not twenty-year-old professional male athletes. It's also a real possibility that a certain well-known apparel company that sponsors me may very well pull my funding because of it. It wouldn't be worth it, since the monetary amount that they give me is essentially what keeps a roof over my head and food in my stomach, so being a Brony will just have to remain a dirty little secret of mine for now.
Thuja 3,659 November 4, 2018 Share November 4, 2018 As much as I would like to go to the gym, I don't exactly have the money to do so right now. Also, I worry that since I'm trans, someone's going to make a fit about it. I'm passable enough with my clothes on but when it comes down to changing, I don't think I can quite pass at all anymore... Maybe I should call the gyms around me to see what their policy on trans members is? If they tell me that I'll have to go use the women's locker room, I might have to pass on that. I did have a free membership to the local Y while I was a part of a program there but since I'm not there anymore, I miss the gym environment...
