"Shit its that damn griffon again....guess I'll have to wait longer now" Solstice said as he hid the rest of his magic. "Soon I will get you Twilight...and your friends will soon fall after you" Solstice muttered as he left Ponyville as he arrived to Everfree Forest Solstice curesed to himself again. "Looks like I have a problem...I need more then just my self in order to kill them"

Indicus walked through the Everfree like he always had, something about it felt right, like it made him complete. Even when he was in the special forces, he would volunteer for any operation in the Everfree. It became especially useful  when the guild turned on him due to a mark on his head, they called him Equinox for some reason that he still never figured out. Summoning a magic sword construct he stopped and took a few practice swings, and went through his daily motions designed to keep himself in shape both physically and magically, even casting a shadow bolt or two.

Solstice stopped when he saw somepony. He kept back as he studied the pony and smiled. "Well...it seems Equinox split into other parts as well..." Solstice said as he walked over to the pony. "Pray tell what are you called now...I am Solstice if you must know" Solstice said as he looked at the pony.

Indicus looked at the pony that spoke up suddenly, his now dagger construct ready. "Names Indicus and theres that name again Equinox... who is this pony and what dose it have to do with me?" he asked wanting to find out more about the pony others were calling him.

"WE...were Equinox a single being who thought it was smart to gain all of the power of this dinky little forest in order to kill Twilight Sparkle...but right now we have this stupid being known as Discord blocking me from fulfilling that task...I need help and you are part of Equinox, what do you say" Solstice asked

Indicus looked at Solstice for a second, "Sure it is better then my run of the mill contracts so I'll do it and because you just answered my biggest question I will not charge you anything. Consider my abilities yours." Indicus stood there as he said that knowing he probably got into a huge mess that he would have to clean, but he put that to the side and waited for his first order.

Good..first thing that I need you to do...is kill the draconusquues Discord" Solstice. "He can sense my magical ability and it is a pain to keep it hidden...especially with that damn griffon in the way also" Solstice said. "Once all the parts of Equinox are back...full power will be ours again and nothing will be able to stop us"

I smiled, "This will be my biggest kill yet, anyways Solstice I will come back with a dead Chaos Lord or not at all. But first where is Discord and who is he with? I don't want to go in blind and die because a lack of proper information I get in most of my contracts." I asked

He's in ponyville right now and he's with Twilight Sparkle and the others. I warn you though leave Twilight and the others alone...Discord is the main threat if you need help just whistle and I'll help out" Solstice said as he looked at the pony. "Good luck because you will need it"

"I know." I nodded knowing the names of Elements of Harmony's wielders "If Twilight and the others pose a problem to my objective and I can prevent it, I am a bad assassin indeed."

 

I use a moderate illusion spell to change the color of my mane, Tail, and Coat and make my way to ponyville. Once I arrive I enter the town and head to the Library one of the most common places Discord and the others would be.

@@COBLoneWolf,  "Leave a note? Well...huh. I guess we could do that. Come on we have a note to construct."  Mjölnir and Antimony set about sending various proxies to various stores in order to purchase the materials, as well as the construction and delivery of the note, while making sure ( at Mjölnir's insistance) to never touch the note themselves. When the note was finished it read: "Hey Celestia! Some cult is gunning after Princess Twilight and by the way said cult is composed of remnants of some colt who had the hots for Twilight but instead of taking rejection like a man he now wants to construct a machine with multiple giant pingasses that will rape her to death and commit necrophilia. Oh and they will probably try to kill you too and Discord. Sincurly, concerned citizens of Equestria.

As Indicus walked to his destination. He thought about how he would kill Discord Indicus studied law for a while when he was in the Lunar guard for obvious reasons. So he tried to think on legal ways to kill Discord so he could not be touched by the law. It occurred to Indicus, if push came to shove he could just challenge Discord to a sword duel or trial by combat both involving a skill set that came easy to Indicus. And hopefully he would be under estimated.

 

He decided that was a plan B plan A is poisoning Discord with a rare poison called magic's bane. It drained the magic from anything. This would make magical recovery impossible and drain his chaos magic as well.

 

Indicus got out a vile and coated his dagger with some of the poison. Re-sheathing his dagger he continued on his way.

Meanwhile a certain grey Pegasus glided in air to the golden oaks library and knocked on the door, which was quickly answered by the young Spike. "Heya Derpy! Come in. What brings you here today?" Spike asked. "Special delivery to Twilight Sparkle. Is she here?" Derpy responded cheerfully. "No she went off on another dangerous mission, you know the usual. Perhaps I could take her package and give it to her." Spike offered. "Hmmm. Ok. Sign here please." Spike took the letter and clipboard Derpy handed him signed it handed it back. "Hrm. This looks to be in order. FOR TRUTH! JUSTICE! AND YOGURT!!!" Derpy shouted as she zoomed off crashing through the roof.

Indicus arrived at the library the dagger concealed, he entered and nodded as a greeting. (it is anthro now correct.) Indicus then immediately started to browse the library in the magic section. All the while he was listening for conversations that held information on where his target was.

@@Shadow Dancer,  Spike looked at clock. "It's been about an hour since Twilight, Discord and the others took off they should be back in town-square by now." Spike noticed a pony in magic section of library and went up to him to offer his services "Hello. Need help find anything?"

 

Mjölnir looked to her partner and said "You know, I think it would be better for the both of us if we went into the library to see how this plays out. I have a feeling and it's not my zombie outbreak feeling or my imminent rape feeling."

@ I looked at the little dragon that asked me and said, "Yes I have one question, where are your books on advanced Shadow Casting?" I looked some more and found a dusty old tome behind all the others, the book was leather bound and the parchment also a leather base, the title was, "The Art of darkness -by Princess Luna". "Never mind I found it." With that I signed a false name on the checkout paper and opened the door and made my way to the courtyard after using a bit of magic to open up a personal Hammer space hole and put the book in it. With that I got ready to take down a Chaos Lord.

Solstice sighed as he left the forest in a disguise before entering ponyville, making sure to cover is magic so no one can sense it. "Meanwhile I can try to do something on my own terms" Solstice said as he headed to Fluttershys cottage. "I wonder if my mirror image spell still works...or even if I have it" Solstice said to himself

@@Shadow Dancer,  Discord and Twilight Sparkle were discussing a new plan now that their target was gone and in its place a new trail leading to two zebras talking a few feet away. "I don't understand how the same trail we were following lead to two zebras instead of who we were following." Twilight complained "I don't understand either and coming from me that's saying something. It's especially unnerving  since this is my life on the line." Discord replied. "What do we do now? Pinky asked.

 

((cue dramatic entrance and boss battle))

(I have a way to weaken his magic even if he has a slight immunity to it Discord will still be on more of a even playing field then before.)

 

I quickly walked up to Discord (Not very dramatic LOL) and said, "Discord my name dose not matter but regardless, I challenge you by ancient law to a duel to the death!"

 

(okay a bit more dramatic but there is a reason see either way Indicus wins with discord dead or Discord looking like a murderer in front of every pony there, and he is also due to the fact its law, required by honor (even Discord has some) to accept by law or he legally must be re-encased in stone as that is tho only prison that can hold him. Indicus knows this as he had to study a bit of law before entering Luna's special forces and due to the fact she knows the older laws she also showed him those and that was one. So you can say that Discord will be out of the picture in one way or another )

@@Shadow Dancer, ((Umm, yeah no. I'm going to have to say no to that whole duel to the death thing between Discord and your character as it leaves no room for interference by the heroes. Secondly the elements of harmony don't work like that and even if it did it would require Fluttershy's consent as she promised to never use it against him as long he behaved. And finally if such a law existed Celestia and Luna would have used it a long time ago. Try again please.))

Solstice was passing through Ponyville to get to Fluttershys cottage before hearing the assassin he hired challenges Discord to a duel to the death with ancient laws. "That won't work sadly" Solstice said as he removed his disguise and looked at Discord. Solstice faded and reappeared behind Discord. "You see the ancient rules don't apply anymore so that won't work" Solstice merged into Twilights Shadow before appearing in front of her. "Now...you may not remember me but I WAS Equinox...oh but what do you care"       

Solstice stepped back before drawing his katana. "After that fight with the griffon I had to figure out how to make my magic immune to those bloody arrows because if I ran into him again I can't let him use that dirty little trick of his" Solstice smiled before looking at his katana. "Ever heard of a spell called Dark Drift Princess...it's a spell that can cut through the very soul of a pony...but under one condition...the user must be dead already...Equinox is already dead so I won't have to worry...and don't forget about Profound Still...I think you should know that one Twilight...It seals magic up in a certain area the user casted it in" Solstice paced back and forth before looking at Discord. "I tried to use it on Discord but of course that griffon got in the bloody way" Solstice laughed a bit. "I wonder how well you have matured Twilight....how about I put you to the test"

@, "I mutter a curse, "damn it"  I just shake my head I look at the other one that popped in and said "lets just get this done with. I'm here to get a job done." I just mentally say 'fuck it' and charge go at Discord hoping the magic posion enters his blood stream and drains him at least to a tolerable level of magic.

 

(there fixed and I understand also the interfearence gave me an excuse to continue with the assassination and it is not an absolute Discord can dodge.)

@,  Mjölnir felt the presence of Shadow magic being used and cursed. It was that cannibal necrophiliac Solstice! From the looks of things he came out of hiding for once. Looks like she would need to interfere before he actually succeeded in killing but first the assassin. The assassin charged at Discord and was about to stab him but Discord barely managed to doge in time and got nicked instead. Mjölnir quickly prioritized and faster than any eye could see she pulled out her AMT Hardballer and with a BANG! shot Soltice's sword out of his hand. She then drew own sword and used the light of the sun to blind Solstice and kicked him away from Twilight.

((Not really since Dark Drift is a sword but Stillness doesn't affect special blades or anything))

 

Solstice smiled before dispersing into smoke. "I must say..." Solstice summoned his katana. "If you think you could beat me again then you are sadly mistaken" Solstice. "You may have a sword but do you know how to properly use it" Solstice sheathed the katana. "Dispersing Blade: Meditation" Solstice drew out the katana and it was covered in green flame before dashing forward and slashing Mjonir but seemingly caused nothing. "This match has been decided..but I'll mess with him for a bit" Solstice said as he glared at Discord. "Forbidden Art: Profound Still" Solstice casted the spell and now all magic has stopped.
