New OC Pony [WIP]

Hey guys, it has been awhile since I was around the fandom.
I really don't need another pony...but I started doodling one anyway cx

 

 

She is based off Przewalski's Horses, because I love how rugged and stocky they are.
Her talent will be based around being a trail guide or something, I haven't really decided.
I also am really bad at cutie mark design so I am attempting to avoid it for awhile lol

Mm, dunno how I feel about the colors...

I have to ask, on the bottom part of his coat in the colored version, is it his fur darkening or is that supposed to be shadow/shading?

Yay, you're posting more art! ^U^ I like the sketch more than the colored version...I think the contrasting shading throws me off a bit.

They are leg markings, normally I don't do blurred edge but it wasn't looking right in any style XD

I need to lay them out again.

I re-did the markings and adjusted the colors ^^

Her CM is a juniper branch native to Mongolia and used as a medical plant.

Ah, I see! I thought so but I didn't want to jump to conclusions. The fact that they are leg marking is much clearer in the second picture of her.
