"Here's hoping" Apisves agreed, pulling a Sitrus Berry out of his bag and nibbling on it. "What food did you bring?" Apisves asked, crunching rather sloppily on the yellow berry. "Here" Apisves shrugged, tossing Kage an Oran Berry. "It's good" Apisves assured

"Thanks!" Kage replied, catching the Oran Berry. "It's been a while since I've had one of these!" Taking a bite out of the Berry, he paused, savouring the flavour before answering. "I didn't bring many berries with me. I mostly just brought snacks with me. A few lemonade a too!" He took a can of lemonade out of his bag and offered it to Apisves. "Want one?"

"Yeah, and they're department store is massive !" Kage exclaimed. "It's so awesome!" When Apisves stopped to scratch what seemed to be an unrelenting itch, Kage was a bit worried. "Uh, you alright?" he asked. "That itch has been going on since earlier on, hasn't it..?"

"Well, it was still a bit of a shock!" Kage replied with a chuckle. "Pidgeys certainly aren't the brightest of birds! They just peck and hope they're hitting something edible!" He smiled. "Don't worry though! At the school, no bird Pokemon's coming near you! I'll make sure of that! The Principal's a different matter I'm afraid though; somehow I don't think he'd appreciate me trying to scare HIM off! At least he's one that's trying to help you, not harm you!"

"Wow. That's a nifty device, isn't it? What happens if you take it off when you go to sleep or something?" Melissa was genuinely interested and leaned forward in her seat to get a better look at the scanner. Turning her head slightly to the side, Melissa saw Synthia fiddling with a screwdriver. "What are you doing with that screwdriver?" Melissa asked Synthia.

 

"Well, I generally don't take it off. Mostly because in order to get a constant biometric, it needs to be in contact with me at all times, so it has a couple of needles that cycle a small amount of blood and scan it." Rune explained. "That way, when it detects certain viruses or bacteria in my bloodstream, it sends a signal to wherever the lab is and they send me medicine or a note to see a certain physician and pay for it, which I certainly can't complain about."

What's just as wierd is some dogs are as scary as both the dragons and Staraptors!" He was certain pop hyena was suppose to be intimidating, of all pokemon! "Some Pokemon really do have some weird abilities , don't they? Others are just plain cool, like Shedninja!"

It's an interesting piece of device and she hasn't seen anything quite like it. "It's like a robot wristwatch doctor!" Melissa exclaimed when she figured out what it was like. "Did you teach fencing before you came here?" Melissa asked Rune.

 

Blowing out a puff of air, Fey wished that she could create fire again. She did enjoy it when she was a Vulpix but after the evolution, she was actually scared of using her fire ability. Going on a hunch, Fey put the fire stone bracelet on her right wrist, held her palm open, facing upwards and concentrated on creating a spark again. Nothing happened. 'Thought not. Maybe I really will rediscover it in Skills Class.' Fey sighed dejectedly and quit trying to make fire. Instead, she sat back on her bed and scooted back to a corner. Fey then got her book out and began reading it.

Fey had gone to her dorm just she like she said she would. Fey's face was still tear-stained but at least she's stopped crying. She had flopped down on the bed and was going to have a bit of a read of her pokecyclopedia when she remembered that fire stone that caused her to evolve. Fey had brought it with her, she just never bothered showing it. Reaching under her bed foor her bag, she opened it up and dug around inside it for a bit before pulling out a bracelet with a firey gem set in it. Fey oooked at the fire stone bracelet for a bit before placing it on her bedside table. Fey looked at the bracelet, then her hands and thought about how she would go ahout creating fire.

"The laboratory sends agents trained in resuscitation to bring you back to life. They're getting annoyed because they sent him a watch that's a little big, so sometimes it slips off at night. However, I installed a button that allows him to take it off for an hour or two. For... fun. As for this screwdriver, I'm thinking about how to improve it."

Seems weird to send him one that's bigger than the wrist.  You could probably modify that screwdriver to make the head spin. Kind of like a drill except it only screws and it screws at a much faster rate."

"Sure!" Kage replied, leaving the Kakuna-gijinka to his rest. Kage however wasn't about to go to sleep! He'd been reading for a while now, but felt it was time for him to stretch his legs. "I'll be back in a while," he said quietly , I case he's scared Apisves. "Don't worry though! I'll come and wake you if there's any good!"

 

Getting up off his bed and putting his book to one side, he went to the door and left the room, closing the door quietly behind him. Maybe I'll meet a few more of the other students then... he thought to himself.

"There was something about feeling the need for a loose fit, so that the wrist had a full range of motion. I'm not really sure either..." Synthia continues studying the screw driver. Inside her head, she was already designing the wireing mechanisms and motor functions necassary to make Melissa's idea a reality.

Melissa got up out of the chair and, yawning slightly, she walked over to the door and rested her hand on the door knob. She turned to look back at Synthia and Rune. "Thanks for letting me catch up with you two. I'm going back to my dorm and maybe rest for a while. See you two later." Melissa have a smile and a wave and opened the door. She then closed it behind her and walked to her own door. Opening it up, she closed it behind her and immediately went to lie down on the bed.
