Would Big Macintosh be a good father?

He'd do fine.  He might even talk more when he had things he really wanted to say.  I mean he talked enough in applebuck season when he needed to.  He just doesn't say more than he must.

I don't see why not, he looks serious.

Damn it.........you beat me to it,.   Instead of us, why not ask Big Mac, himself.

Not only am I going to say he'd make a good father, he'd probably be one of the best cut out for it.

Big Mac is a strong and sturdy colt, who can easily hold his ground and pull his own weight. He understands discipline and keeping things under control; he has two younger and rather brash siblings he has to watch over already, after all.

But something he isn't given enough credit for is that he's got plenty of emotion and care to go around. He's able to get emotionally invested in problems and work to help those close to him, likely to the maximum for the sake of this hypothetical child. He'd be one to give them short and sweet words of motivation when they're down, and be able to easily give them a strong yet loving push in the right direction in their life.

Big Mac is strong, responsible, mature, and undoubtedly would make an amazing father, no matter what anypony says.

I think Big Mac would be a fantastic father. He's already a good older brother to AB. He's a hard worker, is level headed, and is apparently very wise according to Pinkie Apple Pie. I think he could be protective without being overbearing. He has a sense of maturity/responsibility but he also knows how to be playful and havie fun with his family.

I don't think there's anything more I can add, this is exactly how I feel. Big Mac = Mac Daddy :P
