gaming Dying Minecraft Server

This Minecraft server is dying, because nobody goes on it anymore. I just talked to a lead moderator and he said that the owner is going to move the server to a different game if things stay like this. It's too bad, because it's a very fun server. It's only server I know that has creative worlds that don't use plotme.

 

I have an idea. Maybe we could all populate the server and practically take it over and turn it into a brony server.

Hey, I'm finally getting around to looking at the listed server.
 

First impression, their software needs to be updated to the latest version. It wouldn't let me on with the latest Minecraft so I had to downgrade to get on. If we were to take over the server, that needs to be addressed.

 

I just got on so I'll update the post as I go along.

 

EDIT:

 

Couple things:

 

• Main area is pretty big, looks like it supports both PVP and creative
  • Main area has a anti-cheat plugin that for whatever reason prevents sprinting. Looks like once you get to an actual area though, you can sprint.
  • Looks like the main area is just a bloody huge starship. I looked at the loading dock and I think space is represented by millions of obsidian o.O
  • In the room with the portals, the first two portals in front of you work, one of which is creative and the other being survival. The rest of the portals don't work unless you hit a certain rank.
• PVP section has a dedicated crafting area in case you need to bang out some tools before entering a PVP world.
• I'm taking screenshots of all the areas on there and I'm going to throw together a gallery on my Onedrive if anyone is interested.

Exploration finished, above is the server in a nutshell for anyone whos interested. I also took a bunch of screenshots if anyone wants me to throw them up somewhere in case you didn't want to go on.

Update: you are right, this server is dying if it is not already dead there is almost nothing left to take over...

It's literally a ghost town. I went on and there was no one! It's like exploring ancient ruins.

 

It's creeping me out because I'm hearing noises as I'm typing this and I keep thinking someone just jumped on o.O

Hey, quick update.

 

I think they took the server down. I tried to get back on today to look at the main worlds but I couldn't get on at all and pinging the server came back as no response.

Maybe it's back up. When I made my last post, I tried checking it out some more and I could not get on at all and gave up thinking it was too late. I'll reload Minecraft later and see if I can get back on.
