I just thought I would make this before I watch the next few episodes. I will most likely be commenting to say that I watched the episodes without talking about the episodes themselves because I think that would be easier. ^^ Also because I am excited for season 5 and It will take ages to get there if I talk about every episode I watch.
Now that's not how you play "I Spy". You're supposed to say letters. But I remember a commentary where they said they don't use real writing in the show because it makes it easier to sell to other countries so I guess that's why.
Why did Rarity put her crown on upside down? That was a weird little detail.
The worldbuilding in this episode is interesting. Starswirl is mentioned, Celestia(with blue mane?) and Luna are on the flag for some reason. I'm sure it's all been discussed to death

People are always asking why Cheerilee had a pimp hat lol. It's possible to wear a hat with a feather in it without being a pimp. My guess, it was a prop for a school play.
After re watching this episode I only just realized that when the first ones ruins went into lockdown the crumbling building were not part of the security measures it was just because it was an old building and started crumbling when the doors started to close. First time I saw it I thought the ruin had like a self destruct thing if intruders manage to make it into the ruin but this makes more sense.
The 2010s had an explosion of animation for good and bad, but more so towards the better side then past decades. Today I'm going to countdown, my top 10 cartoons from the 2010s. Two rules, one is that it has been running through the 2010s, a cartoon that began in the late 00s counts as long as it concluded in some fashion in the 2010s. Secondly, the cartoon must have ended in some way, either by its own merits or canceled no later than 2020. So you won't be seeing the likes of Ducktales (2017)
First episode of the MARAthon checked off. Adora was pretty clueless at this point about the Horde being evil and even that she was She Ra at this point also rewatching this episode I noticed Catra sleeping at the end of Adoras bed like a Cat would nice little detail.

Approximately 5 billion years ago, there was a supernova.
Supernovae occur often throughout the universe, and are believed to occur somewhere on the order of once every 50 years in our Milky Way. Supernovae help illustrate the stellar circle of life. When one star dies, it can bring about the birth of many more.
It may be odd to think of such a violent death bringing forth life. Indeed, if a supernova occurred too close to the Solar System, it would be lights out for us Earthlings.
Rarity was a pain in the butt in this episode but she never seriously considered messing up Sweetie Belle's picture.
I'm sure most of us guessed that it was her in the race. Don't know why Applejack had to hold her breath under the mud the whole time.
They probably would have been disqualified if they'd actually won, that's probably why it was written that they lost.
Nightmare Night episode! And the first real introduction to Luna.
At first Starswirl was an obscure unicorn, now he's a huge part of the show and everypony knows him.
How can it be Pip's first nightmare night ever?
The pony with the shark on his butt is funny. What's he supposed to be???

Ah memories! I started watching MLP around the end of the first season. I remember being so excited and getting up early for the season two premiere and it didn't disappoint!
It's really interesting that Fluttershy was incorruptible and Discord had to change her manually. And who could have guessed how their relationship would change at that time?
