Honestly I'm more happy now that I stopped believing in God. I like being able to be able to give a reason for something happening on a factual level. It's also nice to be able to say "No one knows" instead of "It's a work of God".

I also hate the religion nutballs that force violence into religious situations. I know too many.

A good strategy is the one I use on most boring people. Zoning out and nodding at key moments. It's pretty easy and it saves you a lot of hate. Though you might agree to things you wouldn't want to agree to. 

I tend not to associate with folks like your friend. Normally, we don't have anything common. Yes, it's a bias but it's done me good so far. c:

Atheists shunning the existence of a deity is as silly as a religious nut throwing their beliefs in someone's face. Neither can be proven with conventional means, hence the term "belief".

You don't have to believe in "God" to be happy or live a good life. "God" is just there to give people a fail sense of security and hope.

You brought up a case in which it's not necessarily important to have some sort of belief in a higher being, but then you go beyond it and claim the former is non-existent so it doesn't matter anyway. You are no better than this religious nut.

Like I said, I have no problem with religion. There could or couldn't be a "God" out there. I don't care. When someone shoves religion in my face, then I have a problem.

Do it! Then we can make the two blogs like fortresses. And we can shoot insults at each other from the fortresses and send ground troops into the enemy fortress to insult them. We could even have secret agents.

I don't see why people care so much about the religion the person next to them believes in.

It's not like I asked him, "Hey! What religion do you believe in?" He came up and started putting his religious views in the faces of people who don't fucking care. And then this started.

I'm fine with what you have said, but I want to discuss this line. 

I believe in god, however, I'm more certain I would go to hell more than anything. I also think nothingness is better than hell. 

Therefore, it would actually be better for me not to believe in god, but, I do believe in god.
