My opinion of Love.

blog-0163138001362980840.jpgNow, I'm talking about real love. True love. Something that is the feeling for another human being with such great romantic, happy, protective, feelings.

Is it achievable? I believe so, I know so. My wife was my soulmate. She was a wonderful, angelic soul. Able to know that I am not perfect and have flaws. She accepted my flaws and considered me perfect for having them. I can safely say that I have experienced the truest love. I wanted to spend my whole life with her, but she was taken from me before I could even marry her. We were just engaged for three months...

Have I felt feelings like that since? I'd say yes again. Will I ever obtain what I had with my wife with another? I say no on this one. She loved me, and I know I am loved by many in life but not like my wife loved me. I'd love to have it, but it is uncontainable to me because no one can love me like she did in such a romantic way.

And I'm not talking about anything sexual at all

I'm talking about real love.

Boy, I just can't talk on anymore....

Good read, even if I can't relate to your story. I guess, from your experiences, love is both a curse and a blessing: a blessing when they're around, but a curse when they're not. Even so, you are a fortunate man to have known true love.

this kind of love is a dying race. its extremely rare to find stuff like this that arent in movies anymore. and when you think you can never be happier, life punches you in the face and steals the one you love. I know from experience, just like you, mate

It's sad that you had to clarify that you weren't talking about sex when discussing love for others.

Love is like a tumor. The more the other person grows on you, the more they hurt you. They're that part of you that you wish you never had, and once you get them removed, you never feel whole again.

Or maybe that 'tumor' isn't really 'love'. As far as I know, love is unconditional and unlimited mercy and affection. There's nothing about "their leaving hurts me" thingy in love. When our beloved ones is gone, their love is still with us. Instead of cursing because of that, it's better to thank for the great time they spent with us.

The word love has been desecrated and has lost its meaning to the majority of society. I am glad that you still hold the value of love as it is meant to be.
