Silverspark and Brightspark continued sliding through the mud, trying to catch up with the older ponies. Brightspark held onto Silverspark's tail with her teeth as she exclaimed, "I have a new plan! Look over there—a flat piece of wood! We can use it like a sled. Check in my saddlebag for some rope!"
Brightspark looked at her before searching the saddlebag and found a rope." Found it, so now what ?" she asked.
Silverspark levitated a large flat piece of wood. She tied the rope a bit for steering, and together they hopped on, and their new mudsled slid across the mud on it as both fillies moved

Silverspark looked around and spotted her sister getting a drink at the water stand. "Hey, sis, could you pass me some, too? We need to develop a strategy for this race. I doubt flying is allowed, and magic is off the table, so we need to work together to reach the finish line."
Brightspark turned to look at her. "Hmm..." before answering "Well, we're here to have fun and show a good sport Poniship

Teleporting into the area for the second time, two small fillies, Silverspark and Brightspark, appeared. The Spark Twins stood side by side, ready to sign up for the race. “Hey everypony, we are back!” said Silverspark as she stood in front of Dyno's desk.

**Silverspark** looked at Chatterbox before answering, "Ah, but that was actually a large apple! I was practicing my spell to make the apple bigger than it should be and covered it in hard candy." She said this proudly. "Discord didn't call me the alicorn of Mischief and Pranks for nothing, you know." She giggled as she spread her wings boldly.
**Brightspark** used her magic to gently bonk Silverspark on the head. "I swear, Silver! If you keep this up, I might just start this race without you and you'll be stuck sitting in the stands," she said, looking annoyed.
**Silverspark** replied, "Oh please, Brighty! Like you would keep me out of this race. Besides, we will show these ponies how strong our sisterhood bond is!"she looked over at Lucky Fire seeing another alicorn an adult exact "looks like Bright and I are the only alicorn fillies in race sis "landing on @Rethajni

🍃The Running of the Leaves (2025) Race Event!

Storyline:
As your OC arrives at the gathering spot, they can see the starting line, a hot air balloon, empty seats to sit in the crowd, as well as other ponies gathering to either watch or participate.
There are serval things that you can do in this situation.
You are able to:
Interact with other participants taking part in the race.
Head on over to Dynamo Pad, who's standing near a desk full of numbers to hand out to the participants.
Do something else.
It's completely up to your OC on what you'd like to do, before the race begins. Once everyone has their numbers, everyone can line up at the starting line for the race to begin.
The race will begin on September 8th! This will give everyone enough time to arrive at the racing location, as well as line up at the starting line when the race is about to commence.

As you all make your way towards the location of the race for this years, Running of the Leaves. You can see multiple things going on as you take a look around the area. A pink hot air balloon tied to a post and ready to take flight, empty bleachers that are slowly starting to fill with audience spectators. Ponies and other creatures holding vendor stalls for food and beverages. From cotton candy, popcorn, beverages and many more treats are available to be purchased and had!
As this was going on, the host for the event, Dynamo Pad, was looking through his checklist to make sure he was prepared for this year's race. "Let's see here. Paper's with numbers on them? Allowing me to hand over said number to the participants? Check! Commentators having a bird's eye view for the race and the racer's? Check! Weather conditions being bright and sunny?" He asks, smiling as he pulled his gaze away from his clipboard, before turning his attention towards the sky. His smile faded slightly as his expression turned puzzled as he took notice of the sky. What was meant to be a clear and sunny blue sky, was instead filled with gray clouds and a slight windy breeze. "Huh? That's really strange. I thought for sure the plan was to have clear skies for the race. It looks like it might rain, but I don't recall there being an announcement of rain. I think Rainbow Dash would have said something." He says, scratching the back of his neck as he tried to make heads or tails of what was going on.
"Hmmm...I guess this could be okay. There shouldn't be any rain, so the ground wouldn't be wet and slippery to run across. Hopefully everything will be okay. I remember how much fun everyone had from the last Running of the Leaves. I made sure that things were just as fun this year as compared to last year. Making it double the fun!" His puzzled look slowly faded as his smile returned. He admitted to himself that he was feeling nervous, but not as nervous as he felt from the previous race. While he did hope that things went well this time around, he was still looking forward to the race ahead.

Hey, everypony! This is your Events Lead, Dynamo Pad, wanting to wish you a lovely Summer, as well as a wonderful August!
IC:
With the start of the Fall season, it's time to kick things off to a roaring start! That's right! With Summer behind us and Fall in front of us, the time has come to knock down some more leaves! And what better way to start the Fall season than to have ourselves another classic tradition of The Running of the Leaves! The time has come once more to sign yourself up if you wish to take part in this exhilarating race! Challenging, exciting, and memorable times are sure to be had! Also, fun! Can't forget about fun! Did I mention the word fun? If not, then fun should be mentioned once more as one can never have too much fun! And... huh, what is this? Unscheduled rain clouds? I hope it won't be raining... Ahem, anyway, if you wish to take part, then please make sure to sign up in the thread below, or you can send myself, Dynamo Pad, a DM saying that you'd like to participate! I hope to see you all once more in the race!
OOC Detail:
The time has come to stretch your legs, get on your marks, get set, and go! To the races, after all! This event will be RP-based, but this time, it won't be about speed or luck. Instead, your goal will be to knock down as many leaves as you can, as you head to the finish line! Challenging challenges, potentially treacherous obstacles, and fun shenanigans might be in your way, but it's up to your courage, creativity, and cleverness on how well you do!

Deadline: This event will begin on September 1st and shall continue all throughout the month and into October.
Rules: No dice will be required when taking part in this event. Instead, it all comes down to your creativity and roleplaying skills! Leaves serve as points, and you get them for being active, and overcoming challenges in funny, creative, and interesting ways. Using new ideas to get through obstacles gives more points than reusing previously known methods, and experiencing difficulties gives more points than beating obstacles too easily. This year, it's not about being the first on the finish line, so focus on having fun!
While a race can bring out the competitive spirit in us all, please don't ever forget to always be kind and courteous to your fellow friends! It's always great to make friends and to get to know said fellow friends throughout the competitions. Last, but certainly not least, never forget to always have fun!

As you all make your way towards the location of the race for this years, Running of the Leaves. You can see many things when taking a look around the area. Bleachers for spectators, a pink hot air balloon tied to a post sitting and ready to fly. Ponies and other creatures begin to make their way over to take their seats. Popcorn, cotton candy and other delectable treats and beverages in their possession.
Meanwhile, the host of the event, Dynamo Pad, is looking around frantically to make sure that he has everything he needs for the race. "O-Okay, let's see. Number paper for everypony to wear to give out their numbers in the race? Check! Commentators to have a bird's eye view of the race? Check! Everything set up in perfect condition to meet racing requirements?" He asks, looking around to see the starting line, banners and everything one could think of for this year's Running of the Leaves. "Check!" He exclaimed, checking off each box to make sure nothing was out of place. "Okay! All we need now are the participants and then we'll be all ready to go. I just hope that everything works out." He took a breath as he tried to exhale slowly. He would be lying if he was saying that he was perfectly calm. He could feel his heart racing a mile a minute and he wasn't even taking part in the race. He would keep repeating a mantra in his head that everything would be fine and to take things one step at a time.

Hey, everypony! This is your Event Lead, Dynamo Pad, wanting to wish and hope that everyone is having a wonderful Fall season and October, as well!

With the Fall season a little halfway over, the time has come to spice things up! That's right! With the Fall season comes the falling leaves. And what better way to make the leaves fall than to have our classic tradition of The Running of the Leaves! The time has come to sign yourselves up if you wish to take part in the race! Fun, challenging, exciting, memorable and fun times are to be had! Did I mention fun? If not, then I shall say it once more! Many fun moments are to be had! If you wish to take part, then please sign yourself up in the thread below, or you can send me a DM saying that you'd like to participate! I hope to see you in the race!
OC Detail:

Silky was making her way over to the silver lake - the water would glisten with a hidden light of its own, teeming with magical power. She would dip one of her clinking vials into it and collect a vessel of it.
Looking behind her, she would offer it to this unicorn nearby. The unicorn would appear to be quite shocked by the gesture!
Silky would blink once. "Of course, it is why you are here, correct? You need special vials to collect the magical properties of this water or you might get hurt. I noticed you didn't have one." Her voice was soft as she smiled and then suddenly, with alarm she would step back from what the mysterious unicorn would do next.
Not knowing exactly what to say, Silky would giggle. "Marry you? But I don't even know you." With a curious tilt of her head.
Silky would giggle as she'd take the levitated rose into her hooves and place it in her hair. "Fair enough. A symbol of our friendship. What is your name, lovely? My name is Silky. I am the local beautician who gathers magic in any form that I can to help those around me."

Two letters mysteriously appeared in the mailboxes of both Magloria and Silky the mother and daughter the letter both said 'meet me at the park in one hour for a picnic it is times for aspecial get together on a wonderful day like this.
The sun is shining and birds are chirping plus the food was packed and was delicous 'both were signed saying they were from Each other but a silver feather was left in Silky's letter giving the pink pegasus a clue

The World Cup Begins!

"Hey ponies! Bet you can't catch up with me!" Izzy giggled as she ran ahead, normally, she had a tennis ball at the end of her horn but this time as she ran she'd bump into this ancient ruin's pillar and then something would fall to the ground with the sound of clinking.
"Huh?"
She'd lower her gaze to peer upon it. "Oh!"
Happily nodding, "a new decoration for my horn!" She'd nuzzle it with the tip of her horn before donning it like some time of new accessory to show to her friends.
"Ow!" With a light green zap, she'd jump back and watch it fall to the ground, one again.
"Hey! What was that?!"
Looking back towards her friends, she'd wondered if they had witnessed it.
"Izzy!! Wait up!!"
Sunny would gallop as she followed behind.
The small bell would zip and spark with green phosphorescent colors!
"AHHHHH -- what is that?!"
Sunny would take a few steps aside and then suddenly the sound of tearing could be heard as the fabrics of reality itself would begin to rip and warp in a form of spinning like a cyclone. Stars, moons, and the sound of thunder could be heard as many characters from different universes and dimensions would flail and panic as the chaos ensued.
"WHAT IS HAPPENING?!" a familiar voice would erupt as she'd land in the center of the ruins and look around.
"Oooof!"
A purple alicorn with long, majestic legs would stand in place suddenly and try to uphold her dignity despite the lack of it from the fall out of nowhere. She seemed confused as she'd dart her eyes left and right, as if trying to register sense into any of this.
"YAHHHHHHHHOOOOOOOOOOOO"
Pinkie Pie's voice would now follow as she'd collapse on Twilight's back. "That was funnnn!"
A myriad of characters of all kinds of species and realms would unite in a series of confused mumbling and general gatherings. "What's happening? Why are we here?"
Twilight stops and looks down, noticing the bell. "It's broken."
Izzy makes an innocent face and darts her eyes. "I... I found it like that."
Sunny makes a not-so-convinced expression.
Twilight proceeds,
"The magic that emits from it is strong.... but we may need to restore it somehow... "
Pinkie Pie casually rolls off of Twilight's back and slowly stands up in a playfully robotic manner like a transformer might. "Oooooh -- it's colorful!"
"Stand back!" Twilight would call towards everyone standing around it. "Make sure you're safe. Divided in confusion, we may not know how to handle this.. but united, through the power of friendship, we may be able to figure this out!"
As Twilight would speak this with booming authority of a majestic nature, the mixture of different characters were far too diverse and complex to simply merge "through friendship" as she had said.
"This is not going to be easy, is it?"
And so begins
