• Physical Description

  Suri Polomare has a light pink coat with a purple mane and tail. Her cutie mark is of three colored buttons (purple, aqua and light yellow) in a triangular formation. She wears a two-tone blue crossed scarf and a headband holding up her mane in the back. She speaks with a soft but distinct upper-class Manehattan accent, similar to that of Applejack's Aunt and Uncle Orange.

• Backstory

  Suri didn't always live in the big city. She grew up in the large town of Haliflanks. There she got her cutie mark in fashion design, although she was not too good at it. She resorted to stealing ideas and materials from others, and when she did so, she excelled above all others. However, her excellence was not due to her own. She stole it. She further honed her abilities through school and was well renowned across Haliflanks for her design in fashion. However her parents never supported her in her own ambitions and she was always quite bitter, and this aspect would come out through her callous hatred of anyone who opposed her. 
  
  Eventually Suri sought out larger prey, and prizes in the big city of Manehattan. She had always desired to experience the big city for herself. However when she arrived and moved in, and started her own shop she realized she had to be more ruthless in order to make business. And to do that, she stole everything and cheated in everything in order to make her own success. She hired Coco Pommel, who she did not treat very well and treated her like her servant rather than an employee or a friend. 
  
  After being found out by Coco Pommel and Rarity, her business did not do too well. Nor did her motivation. She was done with fashion design, and done with the big city life. Although she bore a rather extreme rage at her dream being lost out, she realized it was time to quit and threw in the towel and moved across the land to Sweet Acorn Acres.
  
  There, she works as a bitter farmer, farming acorns. Although she has softened up, and wants to seek out Coco again to tell her how sorry she is, she is too afraid to do so at the current point in her life. She lives in a small house on the farm, earning her keep. But she isn't happy. Occasionally she takes vacations and trips across Equestria. 
  
  Just beyond the Acorn Farm/Orchard lies the vast uninhabited fields of forever. Suri often looks out over this field at the end of each day, reflecting on herself and her actions. Occasionally she goes out on her own and explored the fields. 

• Key Moments

  Suri meets Rarity when she's the last to arrive with her dresses at Prim Hemline's rehearsal. She is stated to have met Rarity before at a Ponyville knitting competition, although Rarity at first cannot put a name to her face. While backstage with Rarity, she takes a look at Rarity's dresses, complimenting her on her designs. Appreciating the material Rarity used to make the dresses, Suri asks Rarity for a swatch of the fabric to fix up some of her own dresses. Rarity happily obliges and gives her an entire roll of fabric.

  The next day, Rarity shows up last to the event again. As Rarity peeks onto the stage, she sees Suri having her dresses judged by Prim Hemline. She then notices that Suri had completely duplicated her designs overnight with Coco Pommel's help, using the same fabric that she used. When confronted by Rarity about this, Suri explains that "it's everypony for herself in the big city".

  When Rarity later rushes back to the plaza to thank Prim for the opportunity, Suri and Coco tell Rarity that Prim is "furious" and that she should stay away from her for a while. Once Rarity's friends turn up, it is revealed that Suri also told them that Rarity lost the competition. After Rarity accepts the defeat and leaves with her friends to see Hinny of the Hills, it is revealed that Suri lied to Rarity and her friends about the competition's outcome and that Rarity had indeed won. Coco states that the deceitful designer had hoped Rarity's failure to claim the prize would allow her to win first place.

• Personality

  She is a fashion maven with a feisty temper. If she's in a mood, get out of her way. The process of creation stresses her out. When Suri doesn't get what she wants, she snaps. That's what happens when a pony's ego goes bonkers. She is a talented liar, plagiarist, and fashion designer and sought to be the best one there is. However, since she lost her spot in Manhattan she takes more of a bitter callous nature, but also ashamed of what she did in the past and she hides that from others.
  
  However since her time in moving to the Sweet Acorn Acres, she has befriended the ponies that lived there and gradually softened out over time, however she still remains much the same way.  In the end, she wants to propose her love to Coco Pommel.

   Suri looks at the scroll and looks at it curiously. Whatever it is, it certainly looked like some form of ancient language. "Hmm. Fascinating. That just goes to show you that this place has more knowledge than either of us thought. Who knows what was here before, long long ago. I don't know. I am not from this area, so I have no clue."

   Suri quickly grabbed the jar and looked inside of it quickly. "I don't know how you would be able to find a jar like that. Hmph." she spoke, but inwardly was deeply impressed with Bluebell's retrieval of the Jar. "Let's see what it is..." she spoke, taking whatever was contained inside of it out.

   Suri stood there and waited for her to come back up. Part of her feared the worst to say the least - not that she would admit such a thing, of course. Suri glares at her disapprovingly. "You knew what you were getting into. It's a shame you are so willing to risk it all for some...legend." her eyes narrowed but shrugged it off, continuing along.

   Suri narrowed her eyes more and sighed. "You think there could anything down there? I'd say there isn't. Look. It's barren, there isn't a sign of life down there. It's just all rock and stone." she sighed. "But like I said, I'd prefer we just go around. But you know what? It's your life to throw away. You can do what you wish." Suri snorted.

   Suri looked bewildered at what Bluebell was doing before looking down into the crater. "You seriously mean to tell me that we can simply repel and rope down into it? Then we'd have to crawl up from the other side on the other end! You don't know what you are doing. We can simply go around this crater, it's far safer than risking our lives! Your ropes probably aren't even long enough!" Suri shouted, offended by the idea of going down into the crater like that. It seemed that her nasty side was showing there, but it was also on part from her fear of falling down into the crater or Bluebell doing something to betray her. "I've trusted you this far, but my trust has its limits." her eyes narrowed.

   Suri looks out into the crater aimlessly, there was no current way down into the crater because of how steep it was from this angle. "Well, can't really say I want to jump down in there, now really? I don't think either of us can get down into it, it looks pretty barren too." she remarked looking down into it aimlessly, fascinated by it. "Likely an impact crater from thousands of years ago."

   Suri wearily nodded. Now that they had rested somewhat she would stand up and slowly begin to walk that way. "I don't suppose you've heard of the Great Crater, have you? Well, you're about to." she spoke. In the distance they could see a large impact basin approaching, with a ridge of sorts surrounding it. It was very large, larger than the entire horizon. It was ancient.

   Suri panted and looked on over to Bluebell and nodded. She looks to Bluebell, before glancing up at the clear blue sky. The forest was way off in the distance by this point. "I find that if all of this is a ruse I will not be pleased, so let's just hope this is worth it..." she narrowed her eyes.

   Suri was still frantic but had see Bluebell's display of power. Oh, how she wished to have a horn! Those unicorns and their magic is so disgusting, that they have it all to themselves! Perhaps Suri could have something like that one day. But still she knew that she was likely stronger than what Bluebell was, if that was any consolation. It wasn't really, to be honest. They were now out into the field with no more forest surrounding them so there was no chance of timberwolves. The field was so vast and expansive that it was almost daunting, Suri found herself contemplating her decisions upon looking out into the field. She honestly felt conflicted.

    Upon Bluebell's shout, Suri quickly darted away just before she would have gotten struck by the timberwolves paws. She broke into the fastest run directly away from the area. In her recollection, it was the fastest run she had ever ran before. Suri was genuinely terrified, and there was no hiding it. Not that she cared at this point - all she wanted was to run away at any cost.

   The oak groves on either side of her looked angry, as if they were about to swallow any pony that crossed their path.  Bluebell Shrub whistled to herself to try and lessen the scariness of the place while she carefully pulled her tiny wagon of food and supplies along the worn road.  She heard what sounded like another set of hoof-steps lurking among the trees.  "H-h-h-Who's there?" she said trembling with fear.  "Who's th-th-th-th-there!" Without hesitation her horn flashed, and she vanished in a puff of dust.

   It was a chilly day in winter, snow covered the ground and the trees. Wearing a scarf to keep warm, Bright Wing the pegasus pony trotted along in the snow. As she reached the field with the hill she decided to stop for a while.
   It looked fun to play in the snow, so she picked up some snow with a hoof and made it into a snowball. She was about to throw it at a tree, when she noticed a fawn watching from the edge of the forest.

   Ever since Discord betrayed Celestia to her death, turning the tide of the onslaught in favor of the spawn of Tartarus, those who survived were constantly hiding or on the run. If the spawn didn't tear you to bits, you had Discord's bands of loyal raiders to watch out for, and, if you were really unlucky, Discord himself snatching up creatures and sending them to Faust knows where.
   It's been a year since Canterlot fell, you and a few others have been lucky so far, dodging patrols and the roving herds of spawn while still finding enough food to stay alive. You've lost a few members of your group over time, and found new ones as well. A few have told of certain strongholds, "Bastions of Civilization" they called them, hidden away in the discordant wasteland that was once Equestria.
   Your group was headed in the vague direction of where one might be when your luck finally ran out. The forest you had been using as cover suddenly blew away like so much dandelion fluff, revealing your position to a nearby herd of spawn.
   And so you ran, trying with all your strength to outrun the spawn. But inwardly you knew you wouldn't be able to outrun them forever, or even outfly them as some took to the sky in pursuit. You knew that you, and everyone else in your group would soon be overtaken and killed. Until...
   *Whoosh
   Something small but heavy flew past your ear, not unlike a brick, then...
   *Boom
   A small explosion rocks the ground behind you, and from above a large shape appears, it's a crude vehicle, little more than a large metal box with a pair of wings and large propellers. The back is open with a ramp extending down. A mare stands in the opening with a large rifle, she motions for you to jump onto the ramp, "Get in!"
   They wait for as many of your group who survived to get on, helping in any who couldn't jump in on their own, and firing back at any of the spawn who got too close. Once they're all in the ramp closes behind them and the vehicle lifts higher into the sky.
   Inside the vehicle wasn't anything too special, benches on either side allowed for everyone to take a seat if they so desired. The mare who had helped save them set her rifle back across her back and lifted up her goggles to reveal her calm teal eyes, "Is anyone hurt?"
