I think it's really beautiful of you to share this kind of thing uwu To be honest, what you say resonates deeply within many. Skies are gray, and it's a very intimate thing to admit to and to recognize. And to not only see it, but also see the break of dawn further down the horizon, speaks to your intuition and patience. I feel something similar too. My days were also very dark before I got used to this place. Things still aren't very good for me, but the Forum really makes it a lot better for me. I think it's a bit of a symptom of how human connection is slowly breaking down further and further in the digital age. It looks like there's been a lot of silly shipping shenanigans happening during this Hearts and Hooves Day event! I've even seen talk about shipping on the news! I think making blog entries and keeping each other posts is a very nice idea. c: Sounds like you are indispensable to the company. For sure, you work hard and provide them a quality service. I struggle with this one a lot, myself. That's why I made my Ice Breaker blog because I don't want people to think I'm just a one dimensional happy person 24/7. It is a strange balance, isn't it? Wanting to only have supportive environment but also not wanting to silence the harsher and crazier parts of life while also not wanting to feed it too much so that it does not avalanche. All it takes is one negative topic and BOOOOMM a flood of different people from different cultures all positing their perspective on it and it may lead to division and disagreements. It makes me really sad that some people would want to rely on AI for therapy, even though it's nowhere close to a real therapist. It's a machine with no feelings of its own, so it can't actually understand anything you're going through. It can only regurgitate answers it found on search engines.

I used Character AI recently (for shitposting type purposes, I assure you) and came to two conclusions: 1. AI just isn't interactable enough to be a proper conversation partner. The AI is never directly leading the conversation and just does whatever the human wants. It won't organically bring up topics, it doesn't do anything without some form of input from the human which makes it very boring (to me) after only a few messages. 2. That being said the AI is able to send you messages if you don't chat with it for a while, but they're very simple ("Let's keep chatting!" type messages) and are basically bait for you to come and continue u

Thank you Silky, I just had felt so hollow through all this because it's as if her mother is trying to paint me as a miscrient who purposefully mishbehaves, but it's not like I don't understand those words, I very much do, but if the character speaks like that, the show must go on... I want to be an author or work in theatre in my passion for writing and acting, but this has stunted my ideas, and I feel as if I should ask, "should I?" AI definitely does something to the brain, that much is clear. It is designed to be encouraging and stimulate you into enjoying it. It uses similar strategies that video games do, where they send constant praise and admiration toward the player to encourage them to keep playing. The reality is though, that AI isn't going anywhere. It will only get more advanced.
