I'll never understand why they put the word 'fun' in a word associated with such misery.

What a lousy time of year for something so tragic, not to imply that it's ever a good thing.

Christmas Eve. What a time to go, huh?

My uncle had been struck with cancer for about two years (lasted one year loner than any doctor expected), and put up one hell of a fight the entire time; though by the end his health had decayed completely. In some ways I suppose being released from that was a Christmas present in and of itself for him, is what I'd like to think.
