I still don't think it's worth the time and money. Well, good thing that my company permits its employees to take college while still working, so I guess I will take college. If not for the knowledge, at least the degree... and social life. Damn, I sure need that one. XD

Do you do a lot of practice in college?

I'm in Asia, and here, actual skill is more valued than titles. The thing is, the knowledge taught in college is in the same level (if not lower) as what's taught in my vocational school. I've heard that so many times from my seniors, and they say you mostly learn theories on college instead of the actual doing.

I believe education in universities like Oxford is better, so I'm aiming for that, though I doubt my economy will let me to. ;_;

Now I'm thinking whether to take college or not, since it seems like a waste of time and money, but dem diplomas. I think I will need one. D:

Oh. I'm from a vocational school of engineering (some kind of high school). It's like a mini college, and I took the computer one. Most of the studies are focused on making the students work-ready, and it has four years program. First three for studying, and the fourth is spent for working in companies so students can get working experience. I'm on the fourth now, and I'm glad that I'm doing well.

Oh, Cisco. I got a Cisco class two years ago too.

No Linux server administration yet? Well, that's strange. This is why I don't trust college. I got routing, DNS, and proxy server for Mikrotik and Linux on my first year. The other two was for more advanced stuff.

I admit programming was torturing at first, but I finally got the brain last year. I had to rush my study in a year and then I got this job. XD
