  1. Or maybe there's nothing wrong with bronies... maybe the show's creators just did something right. The show's elements appeal to such a vast array of people. Men, women, boys and girls of all ages. Maybe it is the message that selflessness and kindness will always be rewarded, that in an ideal world, even when we feel little and threatened, we can still overcome great challenges and powerful adversaries.
  2. Parody laws are a whole other ballpark. I am lost as far as that goes.
  3. I am almost certain that Hasbro would need to clear it. All characters are copyrighted to the company. Publishing online is different, because there is no money in it.
  4. Okay, just saying tht using a disorder as an insult is just terrible. My brother is Autistic, as well as several of my cousins. Unfortinately, some people are just ignorant and rude. Using a medical condition as an insult is degrading to the title of the condition, and as an effect, to the people who live with said condition. This goes with all conditions that are tossed around as insults, not just autism.
  5. Welcome to the forums and to the fandom!! Rarity is best Pony!!! Though I like Pinkie Pie a lot, too. XP
  6. Working on that first installment of my first MLP Fanfic!

  7. I am eager to see where this is going. I think you're off to a great start.
  8. @Terminus, Don't worry, You and everyone will br more than welcome to read it, once I get the first installent done.
  9. I do write novels, but I have been getting a little burnt out on writing the same thing all the time. I am currently working on my first MLP fanfic, tentatively titled "The Seventh Element: Let 'Em Burn." I am having a lot of fun writing it so far. I hope other ponies will have ust asmuch fun reading it as I am writing it.
  10. Nini Time is a good time

  11. Thanks for the welcome everyone! Double brohoof for the Autism Awareness, Muffin. My younger brother is autistic.
  12. My Favourite Mane 6 Pony: Rarity How did you find MLP Forums?: I googled it. XP How you became a fan of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic: Well, I used to play this game called Feral-Heart. I was browsing their forums one day, and in someone's signature was a link that read: Click this ti becme 20% cooler. My first thought was that that was an odd number, but I thought, "Hey, I'll take any extra coolness I can get!" I clicked on it, and it took me to the first episode on youtube. First I thought it was lame.. but then I ended up watching all of rhe episides up to the current... I'm 21, and I am a writing major in college. I am a lady brony. My Pony-sona is Inkscape. Her cutie mark is a quill, for obvious reasons. But I do other things, too. I love photography, crafting, reading, playing video games, playing with my dog, and and hikes out in nature. I like to draw, though they're just doodles. I walk dogs and babysit them for a living through an in-home dog-sitting service. I am obsessed with the online community, Furcadia. Yes, I guess I'm a furry, too. I like a lot of nerdy things. I'm scared of spiders, I think snakes are cute. I have 2 bunnies(Charlotte and Scooter), fish and a hamster named Roo.
  13. Inkscape was still badly shaken, even after Standoff had secured the lizard-thing. She followed at a distance, being wary of the creature's flailing limbs, each of which clad in sharp scales that would definitely deliver an awful scrape. "What is that thing?" She asked, daring to take a step forward on Standoff's flank to get a better look. "I've never seen anything quite like this. He's not quite a dragon, now is he?" She shuddered. "No,no, much to ugly."
  14. So I was in Target the other day, and I noticed wines with some very familiar Pony names. Featherweight Junebug Fancy Pants Hoity Toity Pipsqueak Magnum And I'm sure there's several others, if you go and look for them on Google. Just thought it was interesting XD
  15. Inkscape leaped behind Standoff with a shriek when Salem swiped at their hooves. "Eeik!! No! no, I was not planning on doing any actual fighting myself! Ah, hide me!" She peered over Standoff's flank at the terrifying Salem scaling up the wall towards them. She looked side to side desperately. "What to do? What to do?"
  16. Inkblaze closed her eyes and ears against the sounds of the onslaught happening on the street. "N-nice to meet you both," she said, turning her head away and covering her face with a hoof. "Oh sweet Celestia! I am not cut out for this kind of work. No, no, not at all. I thought this was a rescue mission!"
  17. Inkscape held back a squeal of surprise when the blue pony appeared, seemingly out of no where in front of her. She had trouble taking her gaze away, as he took down changeling after changeling that attempted to overwhelm the wall. "Th- thank you, Standoff. I'm Inkscape," She shakily fluffed her mane with a hoof, trying to regain some sort of class, though it was for naught, as they were in the middle of battle field.
  18. Inkscape froze as the alarm went up. The sound of scales against the stone wall made the hair along her nape stand up on end. She stopped in her tracks and looked about, panic fluttering and spurting from her chest. "Wh- what's going on? What do we do?" Was she supposed to run, fight, fly? She looked doubtfully at the jetpack strapped to her back. "Dear Celestia, I hate heights." She shuffled her hooves. "Oh, why didn't I just stay with my old position. I mean sure it was boring, but at least delivering messages was safe... well, we - safer, at least."
  19. Inkscape followed Rarity up and over the wall. It was easier than she expected it to be. All of these errands must have really gotten me into better shape than I originally thought, She thought to herself, hoisting herself onto the roof. Her heart was pounding in her chest, but not out of fear, but due to the excitement of the whole thing. "Where to now?" She asked in a low whisper.
  20. Inkscape's hooves were absolutely tingling with excitement, as she followed her company behind Rarity. She had to hold back a girlish squeal of excitement. "Oh this is so exciting. It's just like those spy books I used to read as a filly, except only now, it's me!" She giggled "Oh, this is so much better than writing reports all the time!"
  21. Inkscape butted her way between quarreling two. Turning on them both, she said, "Now you two listen to me! This is no time to be arguing. We don't have time for that. We're all comrades in arms here, regardless of who we are or where we come from. Everypony has right to free speech, and if you have any opposition you can answer to me, understand?" She took a breath and looked both of them in the eye. "If you have nothing better to do, I'll have somepony give you something to do. So heed my words and shut up!" She snorted and returned to her seat, her nose in the air. (I told you she has a temper XD)
  22. Inkscape's ears perked as the announcement was made over the intercom. Rarity, Espionage. That's me. She thought with a sigh. She held the picture close her her once more before placing it back atop of her cluttered desk with her horn. She left her room and headed towards the briefing room. She crept into the room and took a seat towards the back of the room. She really didn't know many ponies around here yet. She had only just moved into Ponyville when the changelings struck, and all of ponykind was forced underground. She cleared her throat and lifted her head to the front of the room, where she waited for Twilight Sparkle to give them the debriefing of their mission.
  23. OOC: ( Oh, I'm so sorry! I didn't even see that. ;n; Inkscape isn't a mean pony, either. Shows what I get for trying to role play without getting enough sleep the night before. ;n; Maybe IC, she was too preoccupied with herself to notice? She is a very busy pony, after all.
  24. Inkscape gave her mane a shake. "Well there's no use standing about here." With a sigh that was just a little too dramatic for what the situation called for, she turned and headed back to her chamber, a small and cramped room that served as both her living and working quarters. It was obscenely small, and was probably once used as a storage closet beck before the war with the changelings had begun. "And I always thought I was a country pony at heart.... I should have never left home." She turned her attention to a small photo framed on her mess of a desk. Removing it from the clutter, she brought it to her with her horn. She gave a small, sad smile. Inkscape gave a quite sigh and curled up on her bed, clutching the photo to her body and letting a single tear escape from her eyes.
  25. Inkscape stopped in front of the scrolls, nearly running into Earth Saphina. "Oh, so sorry." She turned to the scrolls and scanned them for her name. "Espionage," she said with a roll of her eyes. "They already have me using up my best quills to write up all of their war reports and relay messages. Before you know it, I bet they'll be asking me to run them, too. Talk about needing some new recruits. I can't do everything, now can I?" The rant was mostly to herself, but her nature always sought attention from her fellow ponies.
