  1. So, after finally finishing up with all of my reading (had taken a bit longer than usual...), I'd like to set up a new TBR list/pile.  If anyone has any recommendations, I'd love to hear/have them.  I'm generally open to anything from fiction (Fanfiction or otherwise) to nonfiction/self-help! Just need to keep myself busy. Thank you so very much in advance for any ideas and suggestions.

For science fiction, I love Hunger Games and Maze Runner.

I also once read "The House of the Scorpion," by Nancy Farmer. Pretty good book. :)

The Hunger Games is wonderful! I do need to jump back into the series.  The Maze Runner, I've heard much about but have never actually read, much to my shame.  Now that it's been brought up though, I'll definitely need to add it to my list! I've heard of it far too much of it to not want to give it a read.

The House of the Scorpion I can't say that I'm at all familiar with but will be researching on it, and hopefully will be able to read it as well.  For whatever it is, consider it added to the list!

Thank you so much! Quite honestly, I'm excited to start on these titles! :squee:

      H. P. Lovecraft. Been catching up on.

He's the sort of author you can tell is both a product of his time, but just totally bleeds his heart into everything he writes. A real hidden gem, as most of what he's accomplished is actually built on by more modern authors. He was always too much of a mad hermit to finish half his "dreams."

Bruce Coville too. Childrens' author, but he writes so intellectually that it's a wonder for all!

Wouldn't suggest George R. R. Martin. Man writes like he's holding his characters hostage; never know when he'll axe them for drama's sake. He's built for television writing!

      E. Nesbitt (girl writing back when writing was male dominated; intentionally kept her name vague, if I remember.) is practically the Founder of good dragon literature. Got a few more dragon authors pocketed, if I can dredge those up.

Most of all! Terry Pratchett is by far the Best Ever author! He gave such a realistic, humorous spirit to Fantasy that it feels like home to any reader. He-...... he was..... *sniff* the world lost it's heart when he passed away not long ago.....
