My Favourite Mane 6 Pony: Pinkie Pie How did you find MLP Forums?: Just google searched for MLP forum communities. c: How you became a fan of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic: Back when it first started airing in the US, a bunch of my friends told me about it. At the time I was skeptical, and it took me a while to get used to it, but these days I really like it. I'm just a brony living in the middle of Kansas, working full time, and attending occasional nerd conventions. I cosplay, I play various video games and MMOs, watch anime, and waste too much time on YouTube watching MLP reaction videos. I'm female, in my twenties, and I'm aiming to get into professional acting. c: I joined here over a year ago, but only stuck around to make a few posts, and never made an intro thread, apparently. So after finding this place a bit ago, I realized that I already had an account, and decided to start over. I've cosplayed a few anime characters, and a few Homestuck characters. My friends and I are all into that kind of thing. Can't say we've ever cosplayed ponies, anthro or otherwise, but that might be in the books soon if we go to our local Brony con this year.

Good to know I'm not the only one who was iffy on the franchise at first. xD; I remember the old MLP gens from when I was really young, and it took a couple of years to get used to how different the one was. Or at least to get in to it slowly on my own, when at first I had friends shoving it at me, which didn't help me gain intrest much. Also, this is a really lame question, but I see everyone with signatures, and I can't find any way to even edit mine. It's not where it usually is in the profile settings.

I've heard that in Canada, Mountain Dew is considered an energy drink. Going off of that, I drink Mountain Dew every day, almost. I'm also fond of the actual energy drink version of it, that's AMP Mountain Dew. Aside from that, I occasionally try a Red Bull, and by that I mean twice a year. xD; Monster tastes like Pixie Stix mixed with water to me, so I stay away from that one.

I think they're just trying to spread to a wider audience. Some people might watch the spin-off, and then decide to give the original a go, and like it. Where as before maybe they never would've gotten into it. Thinking of it that way, it's just all the more fans for FiM, spin-off aside.

I never thought I'd be joining a brony forum. Over the last few years I've gone from thinking FiM was stupid, to kind of cute, to watching occasional episodes from time to time, to looking in to it more often, to finally caving and watching the full series. Recently I've been hooked on music remixes, mostly the 4953485 different versions of This Day Aria, and Gala remixes. I'm trying to watch most of the episodes NOT so out of order as I have over the last couple of years, and I've been getting more into the fandom. Most of friends are pony fans, and they've let me hear music, and talked to me about it (even though some of it was lost on me), and some of them even cosplay anthro versions of the mane 6 at cons. My girlfriend is trying to get me to cosplay with her, but I don't feel like I'm there.. just.. yet. xD; I joined this place so that I could get into dicussions, and do something other than just look at gifs on Tumblr. I really like a lot of the characters, but I suppose my favorites are, in no order: Luna, Rainbow Dash. Pinkie Pie, Shining Armor, and Celestia. Last one is mostly just because I think her design is pretty. /shot Outside of MLP...
