    One thing I've noticed, Twi's Canterlot friends are actually pairs of recolored ponies. That might explain why Moon Dancer's just a Twilight recolor... :o

      AFAIK, Moon Dancer didn't appear in the first episode, she was only mentioned. I don't think that excuses the recolor. XD

      You're correct, i was talking about Minuette (or colgate), Lemon Heart and Twinkle shine. Correct me if one of the names is wrong.

      But yeah. I remember someone saying they played around with the idea of having individual body styles for each character but that it would be an animating nightmare. So they went with bases instead.
