Watch Angel Beats, by far my favorite anime and I couldn't think of a better entry point.

Angel Beats is a pretty good starting point, I agree. It's got action, comedy, drama and a dash of THE FEELS. I'll throw a few recc's out too.

For cute girls doing cute things, try K-On! and Lucky Star.

For straight up action/violence, Black Lagoon and Burst Angel

For harem/high school comedies, Haganai and Oreimo

Also, Clannad if you want to cry.

God, I am so sorry to hear that. I hate those vivid nightmares. Hope you get over the shock and fear it wrought.

You could change the blue stripes on his legs to a hoof colour instead. It seems the stripes look a little odd for this pony but you don't want him to look too boring either. I think the scarf accessory is a nice touch and I love how that contrasts with the other two colours. But in my opinion I'd remove the stripes and exchange them for blue hooves or a different shade of blue perhaps?

It's good, what I don't like is the blue parts on hooves, it just doesn't fit there very well. everything else is pretty good. You could also try to make eyes a bit darker, but that's just my opinion

The blue is there for only one reason. I was originally going to have a much more colorful and elaborate design to take advantage of the extra options from the deviantart game, but quickly opted for a simpler character. So the blue was simply forgotten, and the only remnant of a more outrageous design.

I should apologize for how whiny this blog is. I wrote it at 2 in the morning while I was really depressed. I am fine now, but I suppose the issues here are still valid. I could've just formated them better. Apologies.

With all due respect, sir, but I must point out that the man IS a lawyer. That makes competing a little difficult.

It's basic human behavior. Adding some small clothing article to something that's already naked, somehow emphases how the rest of the body is naked, thus exoticizing it, or making it "sexy." The stripes here simply emphasize that it's not body coloring.
