  1. Okay, that could actually work. After all, Spitfire and Soarin have both spoken before and at least have a bit of established character to both of them, so them appearing again wouldn't shock. Especially since Rainbow Dash is in the Wonderbolt Academy. I dunno about having an entire episode about Dash just hanging out with the Wonderbolts cause that seems a little bland, but there probably could be an episode that focuses on her and the rest of the Wonderbolts.
  2. I don't know about King Sombra being the most evil... He did enslave the Crystal ponies and he does use corrupted dark magic, but at the same time Chrysalis could be seen as just as bad since she cocooned Celestia, took over all of Canterlot, made Shining Armor her love slave, and was going to try and take over all of Equestria. As far as we know, Sombra had no ambitions outside of the Crystal Empire and was content to just make the lives of the Crystal ponies miserable. You know, for the Crystalsss.
  3. I'm going to be honest and say that I unfortunately don't see that happening... ... but that Derpy coming back and having a few more lines would be pretty freaking awesome. I think we'll really have to settle for her once again being a background Easter Egg, but that's fine by me. If we were going to give any background character time on screen, though, it should probably be a character that could bring something interesting to the table. Like I said, one big problem with giving background characters a bigger role is that the fandom has attached personalities and/or relationships to a lot of them. I think it'd be crazy to see Vinyl Scratch suddenly start talking and having a major role in an episode. I think there would be a fandom-wide implosion to be honest.
  4. Welcome to this lovely forum, Stormy! You know, I think I can safely say in my short time here that this place is pretty awesome, and I'm sure you'll end up finding out the same thing as well. And I know what you mean about it being hard to find fellow Bronies when you're actually out and about! It seems like you have to actually go out places to find them rather than seek them out at the workplace or at school. It's kind of like a mini-adventure to find each other! Cool, huh? Once again, welcome, and a hearty brohoof to ya! /)
  5. See, that's one reason why I think the Changeling Six would need a better explanation; with the whole dark versions of the Mane Six thing, Sombra would just work better since that would seem to fall within his realm of power, while Chrysalis and her minions are more about imitating others rather than being a dark version of them. I could see corruption and darkness falling more into his turf really, especially when it comes to this situation. And yes, the Sombra Six was a stroke of genius. I of course take full credit, although I had no small amount of help from my trusty pipe!
  6. Oh, I completely understand! Sombra is my least favorite villain, but I don't hate him. He's sort of just... there. I feel that Chrysalis returning would be cool, but I just think that a plausible back story would have to be crafted to make the Changeling Six feel natural and not shoe-horned in. It would be awesome to have them in the show just because the Changeling Six designs are really awesome, though.
  7. I dunno... I can't really see an episode like that panning out. As much as I like our friendly ponies that keep up the great work in the background, I actually see an episode about them turning out as a disaster. Not to mention all the cries of fanservice that would ensue, especially if they have the background ponies with the personalities that the fandom has assigned them.
  8. Ha ha, right you are my friend! But Pinkie Pie is nice enough to lend Changeling Pie some of her powers so that it's at least a fair fight of course! And I think TheMarkzOne is pretty adamant about the Changeling Six. Besides, if they are Sombra's creations, what would we call them? The Dark Six? The Sombra Six? Actually, the Sombra Six doesn't sound bad at all...
  9. Hello Inkie! Cool to see other people joining the forums right alongside me. And ignore the haters, Inkie. Pull up a chair and chill with your Brony brothers here. We'll have a ton of fun together I'm sure!
  10. Wow, harsh bro. Poor Sombra is dead and you can't even properly honor the guy's memory! All joking aside, I have no qualms with Chrysalis being the creator of the Changeling Six, but there has to be logical explanations as to how they're better than the Mane Six, as well as how they have a connection to the Elements at all. Perhaps my theory could work in this case? You know, that the Elements are confused as to who their true masters are?
  11. Good point, actually. I guess perhaps Pinkie Pie's Changeling counterpart has better fourth wall breaking capabilities? I'm not sure. More pipe puffing is required to solve this problem I think. And I think Cota brings up a good point. Dark versions of the Mane Six would probably work better as Sombra's dark magic rather than Changeling creations.
  12. Oh no, don't get me wrong, I think that the Changeling Six should fight their Mane Six counterparts, but that part of the battle could involve the Mane Six trying a different tactic by fighting a Changeling that's not their counterpart. A connection to the Elements of Harmony? I'm not sure. What sort of explanation could be given to support that? I'm not against the idea, but it needs a good explanation behind it. Perhaps Chrysalis had shards of them that she used to give the Changeling Six a connection to the Elements? Or perhaps the existence of two sets of the Mane Six has confused the Elements of Harmony and it has trouble choosing who can access its mighty powers?
  13. Hey there, my Hectic friend. Nice to see other ponies joining right alongside me to this horrid collective excellent website that has welcomed me with open arms! And don't worry, if you like talking about My Little Pony, I'm sure you'll find a few people here and there who like that show.
  14. Okay, now that you've clarified, I see what you mean now. Before I answer fully, I just want to say: Samurai Jack is awesome and you're awesome for mentioning it. Anyway, dark versions of heroes are always a great source for good villains, if pulled off properly. But if the Changeling Six are stronger than the Mane Six, the heroes need some way to defeat them. i guess the Elements of Harmony would be an easy fix... But what if the way they defeat them is by fighting someone else's counter part? You know, like Twilight fighting Changeling Dash, and Fluttershy fighting Changeling Jack? I dunno, I think this idea is pretty interesting. Good topic, my friend!
  15. Hmm... That makes that even more interesting. You could even have a plot point that the Changeling Mane Six are questioning their own identities and their own existence perhaps even turning on Chrysalis due to the real Mane Six convincing them that they can be their own people. Or you could go the sad route like that Sonic OVA, and have the Changeling Mane Six accept their fate as shameless copies and sacrifice themselves to save the Mane Six from Chrysalis.
  16. Same here! I know a lot of people have episodes that they really dislike heavily, but I don't really hate any episode. In fact, I had trouble choosing The Crystal Empire Part Two as my least favorite.
  17. Oh yes, those changeling versions of the Mane Six are legit as Tartarus. But I'm not sure of how they would work if actually put in the story. I like your idea that the angle could be that they're better than the Mane Six in every way, which would present a challenge for our heroes: how can they compete with versions of themselves that are superior? Then of course, it turns out that they have the magic of friendship and the changelings do not and they own them in the face with a friendship death blast. Game. Set. Match. *Takes a puff on pipe*
  18. Nice to meet you as well, Winged Stallion of the Night! And yes, Pinkie is indubitably an excellent and classy pony. I can only hope to match her pipe puffing skills one day.
  19. *Takes a puff on pipe and waves to Rayshine* Hello there, Sunny! You seem like a really nice pony who is filled with wonderment and awesomeness. And that's epic. We should chill sometime and puff on our pipes, pondering the intricacies of our world together. Totally dude.
  20. The Crystal Empire Part Two: Had a lot of good humor and I liked the Success Song a lot. Plus, Spike Super Hero Save the Day Swag Time.
  21. Good point... That likely means there's going to be completely human characters, save for the Mane Six and Spike. Perhaps Discord could appear? You know, since he's a reality bender? Oh well, that's probably a false hope. Still, I'm sure you're right that they won't be a focus. I'm guessing one of the big plot points will probably be finding a way to get back to Equestria, although it will of course be one of those series-wide plot points that won't ever get solved. Kind of like Samurai Jack trying to get back to the past.
  22. Was there ever any doubt? ( Thank you for the rousing welcome, my Gaming Friend. Always nice to get a brohoof every now and then! Of course, I am one of the most interesting living things there ever was. At least that's what my horoscope told me. Regardless, your suggestion of roleplaying isn't a bad one at all. Take a brohoof and go on your merry way, Zygen! /) And don't you worry your pretty little head, much fun will be had by this poster! This poster right here! Oh yeah...
  23. I'd say that Trixie in Boast Busters would be Neutral Evil most definitely. For most of Magic Duel, I'd say she was Lawful Evil, since she took over Ponyville and pretty much enslaved everyone and enacted new laws, which are definitely the traits of a Lawful Evil character. After her redemption, I'd put her at Chaotic Neutral or Neutral Good. I'd also place Gummy in Chaotic Evil. Truly he is a force to be feared by all ponykind.
  24. *Lowers pipe and smiles broadly* Ah, glad to see another Rainbow Dash fan as my first greeter. And I even got a brohoof! Most excellent. I'm sending a brohoof your way as well, my Swaglicious friend. And don't you worry, I'm sure I'll jump into this hodge-podge of topics and discussion and come out alive. Or at least I hope so. Oh well, you'll never get through life until you have the courage to dive head-first into a huge pile of ponies.
  25. This is my biggest concern as well. The first time I hear the Mane Six squeeing over a group of cute boys, I'm going to have a conniption. Well, not if it's handled well. Although I can't really think of a way I'd like any kind of relationship type business handled. Better to not bring it up at all, I think.
