Haha. Thanks. I still have my suitcase of yugioh cards, but no one wants them. Most of them are outdated since the game keeps evolving (getting way too complex). I have a feeling that collecting will be rewarding
I'm late to the game (season one cards are going out of print XD), but I'll give it my best. -
Hehe, yeah I talked to a guy who still is into Yugioh and hes talking about all these crazy concepts and I'm just like.. Uh, I don't remember anything more complex then like Fusion xD, or maybe ritual cards.
So yeah its been getting really complex, besides I stopped really having any reason to collect them after a while, simply because I didn't care for them much anymore.

Yeah, a lot of my friends still play it. Many different classes of monster cards; all of which have ridiculous special abilities. All I had to do in my time (sounding pretty old xD) was use overpowered cards and some amount of strategy. It was a lot of fun. My anime addiction probably dragged me away from the game (and I got bored of beating the kids in my neighborhood
). Ah, Rare Hunter days

I hadn't really considered other bearers of the elements until finding this thread. It definitely makes for a good head canon though. It'd spoil my story to say much, but I believe Luna and Celestia didn't have help wielding the elements. I lightly touched on why in an earlier post, but that's all I'm saying right now Equestria is a place where emotions come to life and directly influence the world. The Elements of Harmony represent this power that binds everypony together. Rather than locating the elements- save for a few episodes- the episodes impart a lesson in friendship (essentially the elements) that deepens our understanding of them. More of a theme than anything else. In contrast, the Everfree Forest is an independent world (weather happens on it's own, animals take care of themselves ). It arguably parallels our own world which focuses more heavily on manipulation and knowledge rather than friendship and unity. Also reminds me of the Garden of Eden in Christian theology (only that the garden was ruined while the rest flourished; a much better outcome in my eyes ). Anyway.....it's fun to look at it from different angles. How a story is told is what's most important, so I always enjoy well told lore (even if it differs greatly from my own spin on it). -

I don't believe one can even use the elements without good intentions. When Twilight and most of the others first confront Discord, they couldn't channel the power since they lost touch with their inner light (their connection to the elements). -

We've seen the elements result in a number of different endings when used, but it always transforms things to an appropriate state in which harmony is restored. King Sombra -who ponysonifies darkness- was turned to shadow and banished to the artic north. Discord-who represents chaos and/or disharmony- is turned to stoned since he's such so screwed up mixed up that it couldn't send him anywhere else while still restoring harmony. Nightmare Moon-who sought eternal night and also lost her inner light- was banished to the moon. All in all, I'd say it effects vary on the target to bring about.....harmony. As for Nightmare Moon being banished instead of restored.....I think I'll save my favorite theory on that for my fan-fic It's not really an issue if Celestia uses the elements on her own. You need to embrace each element to become an alicorn, so she was connected to them all anyway. -

It's feels good when I know it reads better. Each part of your profile gives new insight into who you are, so it doesn't necessarily demand shortening like mine (if that's what you meant)
Parts of mine just didn't flow well, so I made it a bit more concise. I wouldn't mind making it longer if I had more to say though.

It's kinda fun to avoid the question while still answering it! Anyhow, time for round 2.... 1) You should ask (e x pi). It KNOWS what it means. 2) Both are mathematical constants, so it works out to a number. 3) It means nothing. It simply is. 4) I simply can't fathom it's meaning (perhaps some wordplay that's gone over my head). 5) e = internet (explorer), so virtual pie.....(I have a feeling that similar guesses won't get me there soon) 6) FINAL ANSWER: It equates to "epi" and/or "pie" (it spells pie) Ummmm......next question! Why put off until tomorrow, what you can do today?

According to dictionary.com: "This" is used to indicate a person, thing, idea, state, event, time, remark, etc., as present, near, just mentioned or pointed out, supposed to be understood, or by way of emphasis.
