Definitely agree with you there, Nature Spell. Celestia's ballad seems to give a general idea of how season four will play out. Twilight will likely journey throughout Equestria (accompanied by her friends) to learn about the needs of the other ponies and how she can help them. The show isn't losing it's focus on friendship at all. These royal duties can be generalized as mass acts of friendship since they're for the betterment of ponydom. Another way of looking at it: MAGIC = FRIENDSHIP = ALICORN. Therefore, we have simply entered a new level of FRIENDSHIP. Plus, Twilight's hot minute held a good amount of foreshadowing and some future scenes as well. Everything is going to be just fine come together really well. -
It might be difficult to ever accept this change if you're too focused on how you wanted it to go. Nothing wrong with predictions and expectations, but don't let it interfere with the story being told. I watched the entire series just taking things as they unfolded and enjoying what was done. During my re-runs of many episodes, everything seems to fall together beautifully. Magical Mystery Cure is without a doubt my favorite episode. Setting aside the incredible songs, it brought together many elements of the story and carved a path into wonderful new territory.

Whether or not you can confirm that.....alicorns are certainly the ones fit to watch over Equestria and maintain harmony. They provide guidance; more as understanding leaders than "responsible adults" (in my eyes).

Twilight has matured beautifully from the lessons she's learned with from her friends. They've helped her "see the light that shines in a true, true friend". Now that she fully grasps the wonders of friendship, she is ready to be crowned a princess. Since friendship is a requirement for alicorn ascension, there really is no reason that the transformation itself would jeopardize her friendships. Twilight has much to learn, but also much wisdom to share. This development really opens up great potential for season 4. There's plenty to go off of in early episodes that seems to foreshadow this transformation anyway. It certain caught me off guard, but I immediately loved the symbolism of it all. Everything is coming together so nicely On a side note, her reaction, "Is there a book about being a princess I should read?", shows she's still the same "adorkable" Twilight. The hot minute's have only supported my belief that the writers will do the show justice make this season the best.

The Bing v Google comparison test had bing winnning out each search. I was still using google for the next few months because I was accustomed to it, but made bing my default browser (after another download recommended it). So now I'm using google chrome with a bing engine in the url/search bar. Don't see myself switching from gmail anytime soon though.

They both look great! Your family sounds awesome, too. Has me wondering what it'd be like if I get some of my family and friends were into MLP. I've created some ponies to represent a few of them, (with pony creator since I can't produce quality art like this) but need to make them bronies if I want to show them Thanks for sharing these.

I'd definitely choose Key Gear. 1) His walls of text are really enjoyable. Profile page gave a good feel for the person who wrote it, and also provided extra inspiration to pursue Computer Science. Plus, Key Gear's back story nearly had me in tears. 2) Definitely knows how to have fun while still getting things done. (Like his most recent prank,- of which I'm aware- which may be driving Zoop to make such subtle innuendos) 3) Could learn a lot about computer programming from him and have great conversations.

That's much easier to keep track of then I expected. There are certain cards I'd prefer over others, so I won't fret too much over getting all season one from the start. Will follow your advice and get one or two boxes from season 1 before starting season 2 though. If they do run out before I get all the season 1 cards I want, I'll have to find someone willing to trade for the season 2 cards I'll get. With all the doubles there seem to be, I'm hoping that's a feasible strategy. As I get further into it, I may become a more avid hunter. That's a good point. I've only seen the Pinkie Pie and DJ Pon-3 collector's decks around though. Glanced a few more tins, but not sure if I'm finding them all.

@@RockinRarity, Thanks for all the awesome advice. Will definitely get one of the 30-pack boxes for my birthday. The $10 Collector's Decks and tins seem like steals, too. Once I finish moving, I'll order the binder, extra card pages, and probably a collector's tin (for the Twilight foil). Might start with season 2 cards since they have a better distribution, but I'm sure I'll eventually want season one as well... I'll post my haul within a month if things go well.

Sounds solid. Seems like the boxes contain an exclusive foil card along with a random assortment of other cards. If the price difference isn't all that great, I'd be glad to limit my outings to Target, Walmart, and the rest. That said, I'm going to learn my way around some of the sites you've all mentioned (Enter-play and tradecardsonline). Thanks for all tips. Starting to understand which purchases make the most sense. Will likely return with more questions after reading up on them, but hope to join the main conversation soon.

Love the look of the cards. I'm planning to start my collection soon, but unsure whether to order the card binder online or look for one in stores. Any guidance is appreciated
