  1. "I won't be able to play used games on Xbone!". Well, I'd rather give more money to the publishers and developers instead of getting a copy which won't give any revenue to them.

      Yeah. Taking away the freedom of the consumer is totally cool, yo. Playing that game when the verification server is no more? Too mainstream! Allowing a person to sell a used game to then go and purchase a brand new game? Fuck that, used games are evil!1111

      Think about this for a second:

       

      When you buy a used game, developers don't get any revenue. They're the ones who actually MAKE games, but GameStop gets huge amount of profit. There's a bunch of people that buy used games.

       

      There's a company who talked about it:

       

      "We sold 2 million copies of our game the first year. In the same year, we had 6 million users registered and playing the game."

      There's a difference. Steam is a DIGITAL distribution platform. It makes SENSE for it to be that way. That's just the way it is with PCs. When you buy a console game, it's a physical thing. You should be able to do as you please with it as long as you're not copying it.

       

      You can dress it up however you want, but the fact is, they're taking away the rights of the consumer for the purpose of corporate greed.
