I know how you feel. Before my run through the manga now, I'd already tried reading through it three times and failed to really get interested in it due to the length of it but it's gotten so great that I can't stop xD You remember where you stopped?

WAY back, like when crocodile was the antagonist haha. and yeah, lengthiness is discouraging and makes seeing/reading something feel like a chore, but once you get started it doesn't feel like a chore at all.

Oh wow, that is a long time ago, but the Alabasta arc is still one of my all time favorite arcs in the manga so far (if not manga in general xD). Crocodile certainly is one of the best villains in fiction as well imo.

It's basically just a "draw what you see" type of thing, but it really is great practice and will definitely help you gain a feel for proportions and all that stuff. I'm also working on a video tutorial that I'll be posting pretty soon, so that may benefit ya as well. :3
