The calendar on my phone lists holidays. January 6 lists "epiphany" I was confused so I clicked it and it says "epiphany all day." So I guess January 6 I am going to become enlightene.

@Tacodidra So in JAWS they should have said "We're gonna need a bigger alot!"?
-
@Sparklefan1234 A lot of bigger alots, maybe?
I can't bear it when people mix up "bear" and "bare". I completely understand why that happens, but I see them used the wrong way around more often than not.

@Tacodidra Right!? /

"He learned that his gods were not merely indifferent, they were cruel."
Go watch this movie. One of the best I have seen in a long time.

"No smoking allowed" does not mean "smoking is not allowed." The former says that you are allowed to not smoke, but it does not say you are forbidden from smoking.

"Political thriller" is an oxymoron.

"Star Trek" Discovery is awful garbage.

"Star Trek" Discovery is so bad that it made me laugh. The plot is so dumb.

Objectively I agree with you. Subjectively it’s another story. Back when ENT originally aired, I was really attuned to Star Trek. I saw so much potential after DS9 and VOY. So, I didn’t like the idea of this prequel, but I gave it a fair chance. Because I found the idea also intriguing. But I was really disappointed by the first 10? episodes. So, I stopped watching it. Later I tried again and I liked the later season (I think the last two). Yes, I can still see Star Trek in this show, but it’s the beginning of the end (as you said) and I had already some history of disappointments with it. And everything which came later, just burned me. I know I’m not too objectively here. But Star Trek really meant a lot to the teenager which I once was.

Sorry for the delay. It’s a little bit too much communication for me this evening^^’’
I don’t mind talking about feelings or fighting but I agree this is not what Star Trek was once about. At least not exclusively. The hope it once delivered is gone. And this for apparently no good reason. It had enough potential, big enough fandom etc. and it just went this way. It feels so unnecessary. But I guess everything has its time. By now I accepted that and I just hope that some of those fandom projects will come to life someday xD We can still hope, right?

"Trough" is pronounced "troff," not "troo." "Through" is pronounced "throo," not "throff."
