  1. Sweetie Pie Sweetie looked up to where Tone Shift was indicating to, it was a pair of two ponies a mare and a stallion having a casual conversation while walking out of the cafe. They seemed normal enough but Sweetie remembered another scream coming from inside the cafe so maybe Tone Shift was right. She wanted to call out to them but with her outburst from earlier she decided against it figuring she should stick to being quiet for a while a feeling of embarrassment sinking in. But she was saved the trouble when one of the other members of the group called out to them. Horsefly The pegasus felt a little hurt having her idea shot down but being in an even more private place would probably be for the best. When the pair of ponies was pointed out Horsefly looked up, could they really be just like them? and if so, how would they even go about asking. She supposed that the first step was to get the conversation start so she called out, "hey you!" It was enough to get their attention before, "come over here." She waved a hoof in the air indicating that they should follow her instructions in a beckoning motion. Hopefully this wouldn't turn out as ugly as what had just happened.
  2. "Oh, what? No, we're not even staying at school. We're going out!" she opened up her forehooves at the last word the doors to the front of the school bursting open letting them out into the world finally breathing in the clear air. Horsefly spread her wings taking into the air landing in a nearby tree branch turning around to face her new found friend, "come on, hurry up." She called out to him beginning to mimic a bird call which, if you weren't looking, you could've sworn is was from a real bird. She jumped down to the ground at the base of the tree waiting for him to follow her smiling that same goofy smile.
  3. @@thor9356 She let out a sigh of relief in seeing his lack of reaction finally firm in her knowledge that he had no previous knowledge of her existence. "Back Track," she said back to him quite liking the sound of that name, "that is a seriously bad flank name." She gave a smirk before turning around beginning to trot toward the door feathers rustling in anticipation. She swore to herself that this day would not be wasted and she was determined to keep that promise, and now she had a friend to do it with. Meanwhile, Pencil Pusher snored on unaware of his tenants escaping through the unlocked door and out into the world, instead dreaming of happy days and clear skies.
  4. @@thor9356 Smiling in relief, "awesome let's get going, we don't want to waste daylight." Horsefly jumped out of the chair glad that he didn't seem to have heard any of the rumors floating around school about her curious activities. Closing the space between them she held out her hoof, "name's Horsefly, what's yours?" praying inside that he had never heard of her name before she held in a breath waiting for his reaction all the while smiling her big goofy grin trying to seem nonchalant.
  5. Horsefly gazed out the window thinking about the answer to that for a long while eyes glazing over in thought, finally she snapped back to reality remembering where she was and clearing her throat, "ahem, well... that's a loaded question. Umm I guess you could say I got in trouble for skipping class... yea? Yea. That's what it is." She laughed some what nervously looking over at the pony fast asleep at the head of the room suddenly an idea came to her. "Hey, wanna get out of here?" she knew it was a bad idea but with the amount of trouble that she had already gotten into in the past this seemed like a tea party so she decided to take a chance. Her eyes shone just slightly at the idea of getting out of the musty room and stretching her wings a bit, she looked at the colt giving him and almost pleading look to have him say yes.
  6. @@thor9356 Horsefly was already picking up the pencil ready to get back to poking dots on the desk when the stallion spoke to her, he actually spoke to her. She blinked almost surprised by this fact until she heard what he had to say and blink again, a sudden burst of laughter escaped her lips before she heard Pusher snort in his sleep and she put a hoof to her mouth. Still snickering she released her lips and in a hushed tone replied, "Holy Celestia, look at the brass cahoneighs on this colt. Seriously you're lucky you just got a detention that is crazy." Her tone changed to that of admiration feeling that he should be a bit proud of himself, well, not about the getting caught but the almost getting away with it. She looked at his cutie mark then back at his face, "you must be really good with computers and stuff, that's pretty cool."
  7. @@thor9356, After only a few minutes of working on the desk Horsefly looked up to see that Pencil Pusher had indeed fallen asleep, right on time. She smiled looking over at he stallion noticing him glancing back at her only to turn around, her smile broadened, "hey you, what are you in for?" This was an activity that she did most days when there was another pony around to talk to but usually they just ignored her, already knowing about her notorious reputation. But at least she tried and that's all she could do, she only figured that today would be no different and she would just go back to her drawing.
  8. Horsefly trotted down the hall looking at the lockers, the ceiling, anything but the ponies around her, she could hear the whispers of them rumors being spread about her past and the reliability of her character. They were right to question her, she was a shady filly, but she could help but feeling their eyes burn into her coat. She thought about skipping detention today maybe go for a walk but she thought better of it figuring it would only get her into more trouble. She walked through the door with an over exaggerated sigh, Mr. Pusher looked up at her smirking a bit, "third time this week, that's gotta be an academy record." Horsefly crinkled her nose at his comment walking past him like she had done so many times before, "aren't you going to sign in?" he asked jokingly both of them knowing that they had given up on making her sign in her name was practically printed on the page. She took her usual seat toward the back leaning against the wall sighing once again and was about to pull out her pencil be get back to working on her desk drawing when she stopped noticing another pony in the room. It was a stallion sitting a few rows in front of her and to the left, she pushed her curiosity to the back of her mind returning to her drawing comprised of hundreds of tiny dots depicting a UFO invasion and ponies running and screaming everywhere. This was only to bide time until she could talk to the new comer knowing that within minutes Pencil Pusher would be fast asleep.
  9. Horsefly She watched as her own body circled around her feeling like a sort of out of body experience a strange pit filling her stomach. Horsefly opened her mouth speaking, "no you're right, what if we went to the library?" she suggested, never having been inside the library she never really knew much about it but she had seen it in passing and it looked like a reasonably standard building. Tall, white fit with long pillars it looked like it was from the Crystal Empire rather than the middle of Manehattan. It seemed like an alright place to have a semi-secret meeting. Sweetie Pie Finally calmed down enough to make sense of anything Sweetie spoke out, "forget that, we can go back to my shop, I have an apartment above where we can have tea." Sweetie felt quite proud of herself when she had had the opportunity of making a contribution giving her a smug smile. But then a thought occurred to her and she blinked, "wait shouldn't we make sure that we're the only ones this happened to? Like what if there were more?" she looked around at the others biting her lower lip a bit worried about this fact.
  10. Cuppie Cake trotted through the halls smiling cheerily to anypony who passed by, but even with her wide smile and happy face inside she couldn't help but feel a bit crest fallen. Yesterday she had gotten herself into a bit of trouble after calling the home economics teacher a quack when he tried to stop her from trying fix the broken recipe on her groups muffins. So after school today she had to serve a two hour detention and needless to say she was not looking forward to it. Even so she would not let this get her down so she went about her normal routine of smiling and saying help to faces she recognized, she made her way through the halls to her first period class seeing that it was already mostly filled with ponies. Cuppie took a seat at the front sitting snugly in the chair stretching her front hooves outward simultaneously stretching her wings outward before bringing her limps back in and settling down ready for the day.
  11. Sweetie Pie Sweetie thought for a moment before letting out a deep breath opening her eyes to glare at her own body, "fine, but I'm not entirely sure how you want to go about doing that considering that this has never happened before, or at least I don't think it has." She felt a headache coming on so she put a hoof to one temple moving it in a circular massaging motion, something that she usually did when she got to stressed. Sweetie told herself that she needed to calm down that she was acting very unmare-like and that she needed to stop and think clearly. Horsefly When the magenta maned mare spoke Horsefly turned and listened to her speak wondering what she was talking about then she remembered the voice she had heard from before. This sparked her curiosity and wondered who could've done this and how, as she lost herself in her own mind her imagination coming up with a million possibilities. Was it an alicorn? Or maybe a zebra. A moose? All of these answers swirled around her head as she thought until she was pulled back to reality where something occurred to her, "maybe we should get out of the open before we figure anything else out."
  12. Sweetie Pie The surprise tumble backward left Sweetie feeling a bit disoriented but was quick to regain her composure flipping over onto all four hooves she stood up huffing. Not sure who to glare at more her own body with the foreign pony inside it or the stallion who had pulled her away figuring that she didn't know who she hated more at the moment she chose to glare at the third pony there, the mare from before, "what do you want now, huh?" Sweetie was scared out of her mind and this fear translated itself into anger making her act quite irrationally, someone had messed with her and now they were going to pay dearly for it. She stomped her hoof impatiently demanding an answer letting out a huff once more nose wrinkling with the mark of a furious expression. She glared at the brown mare, brown, her least favorite color in the world when suddenly she realized she was now clad in it. This only angered her further enraged that she had to be stuck with it, then somepony else entered the scene. It was bound to happen sooner or later for the screaming confused group to get some attention and now she had somepony to direct her anger at. Horsefly After having a pony fall on top of her took the wind out of her lungs leaving her feeling a bit put out, it took her a few moments to regain her surroundings. When Horsefly was ready she stood up shaking looking over at the cafe door just as a waiter was stepping through it and looking at the group, "um.. is everything alright? Do you need any help?" he looked very frightened and very confused an expression that seemed to be quite common amongst the group save for one particular pony, which was the stallion to her left. Who was glaring daggers in the waiters direction, Horsefly stepped between them, "no that's alright, we're fine." It was a lie but a smoothly delivered one at that, Horsefly needed them to be alone so they could talk and possibly figure things out but the waiter persisted, "are you sure cause I can ju-" but her was cut short by a sharp yell from the stallion standing now behind her practically screaming at the waiter over Horsefly's shoulder, "LEAVE!!" the waiter jumped. Horsefly let out a sigh of exasperation head dropping a little, "I think it's best if you just go," the waiter scurried away back into the safety of the cafe leaving the group to cope with their own confusion. Horsefly turned to the stallion, who was still looking as though he was going to bite someone's head off, and she put out a hoof as if to protect the mare and her own body from this tidal wave of fury. The stallion looked ridiculous with one wing expanded mane and tail a wild mess, eyes crazed and blood shot, Horsefly nearly took a step backwards this was surely the stuff of nigh mares. But she stood her ground speaking calmly to the stallion, "now why don't we take a deep breath and calm down." The stallion looked like he was far from calming down more likely to attack somepony than cool down, this was not going to end well. (sorry about all the long posts)
  13. Sweetie Pie Sweetie was about to respond with snarky retort when she looked over Tone Shift's shoulder to see two other pegasi coming out of the cafe after them. One was shakily flapping his wings and the other seemed to be a bit out of it, Sweetie wondered if these were other victims of the mysterious voice that she had heard before. Everything was different now there were others she didn't understand what was going and and didn't have the time to process it because she heard more screams come from inside the cafe. Did the whole cafe get struck by this? Sweetie was suddenly filled with the raging anger that she needed to direct somewhere the closest thing she could find was her own face. Glaring she cantered the distance between them letting out a howl, "YOU!!!" When she reached him she tackled him to the ground placing her hooves around her body's throat shaking it back and forth, "this is all your fault! Give me back my body!!" Horsefly Upon seeing her body scream Horsefly dropped herself, "I'm sorry, I'm sorry." She felt a little bad for freaking herself out but there was nothing for it, "are you all right?" she leaned down to get a better look when she heard someone yelling a few feet away her head shooting upward. Before her was the mare from before her back facing Horsefly across from her was the stallion Horsefly had been mistaken for. The stallion looked quite ridiculous awkwardly charging at the mare but things took a dark turn when the stallion began choking her. Horsefly sprung into action flying over to the two attempting to pry the stallion batting at her to go away but she persisted grabbing his hooves and pulling them away, in the process they both lost their balance toppling backward onto each other in a heap.
  14. When the room disappeared around him Parcel stood up looking around perplexed. What had just happened? Where was he? He walked over to the tree that was only a few feet away touching it with his forehoof the bark he felt seemed to be real so his only explanation was that he had been teleprted but by what and for what reason? He looked across the small meadow seeing that he was alone but just to make sure he called out, "Hello?!" Parcel heard his own voice echoing back to him but there was no answer.
  15. When the mention of the word kill came into the conversation Parcel froze, kill?! he thought a bit frightened now and wanting to know what he was really getting himself into but remained silent as other ponies in the room kept speaking. Parcel was some what entertained by the back and forth between the pony that had just entered and the one that had recently pointed a gun at Parcel himself. He looked around the room to see that a mare was sharing the same expression he had and smiled at her, maybe he could make a new friend in this group. Parcel listened as the pony in charge spoke and a thought occurred to him, "how did you find all of us?" Finding a rag tag group such as this couldn't have been easy and he was curious as to how he himself was discovered.
  16. that awkward moment when you have more to talk about with seven year old cousins than your twenty year old cousins
  17. Horsefly A gasp escaped foreign lips as Horsefly watch her own body fall to the ground, she almost let out a scream but it was taken from her as she saw a stallion run out of the cafe shrieking like a little mare. Horsefly let out a sob, now her body was dead because her soul had left its body she felt like crying but didn't know quite how in a different body or even if she could so she did the only thing she could think of. The mare in the stallions body moved over behind her body and grabbed herself under her forehooves starting to flap her wings to carry the body out. With the increased strength and her body being so light it was an easier task than she had anticipated however with the wings and body that she was not quite used to it still made the trip to the front door an awkward one. Horsefly knew that she had to make it to the door she had to get out of the public eye so that she could clear her head and think and possibly even bury her own dead body. Sweetie Pie Sweetie was so rapped up in freaking out that she didn't hear hooves making their way towards her so when she saw herself walk out the front door she yelped, "eeeee! You! What did you do? What happened? why am I here I-" Sweetie stopped abruptly when she was interrupted by a brown wing that seemed to expand outward on it's own. Sweetie put a hoof up forcing it back into place against the flank putting the hoof back down. She turned back to herself and was about to speak again when the same wing popped out once again, Sweetie turned toward it using the same hoof to putting back in its place... again. But it was to no avail as the wing immediately popped out again, what proceeded next was a comical back and forth struggle between a pony and a wing both as stubborn as a mule and refusing to give in. Finally Sweetie looked at herself angrily, "are you going to just stand there or help me?!" she huffed feeling a bit embarrassed and taking it out on... well.. herself.
  18. Parcel breathed a sigh of relief when the object was pointed away from him and he moved over to sit down he sat as far away from that pony as possible because even with the pony of authority scolding him Parcel was sure he wasn't one to listen to rules. He sat on the far end feeling stiff and uncomfortable where he sat his wings going back to buzzing every few seconds behind his back. When a new figure entered the room he spun around at the slamming of the door his expression was that of shock but he wasn't actually Parcel felt very calm at the moment and the new arrival had a slight air of interesting to him catching Parcel's curiosity. Forgetting his fears he leaned forward a bit waiting to see what would happen next.

  20. Horsefly Her hoof extended out to touch Blue's, "name's Horsefly, nice to meet you," when she heard a voice that seemed to be coming from everywhere and no where all at once before the words registered in her mind she blink and all of the sudden her whole world shifted. In a split second it changed, one moment she was looking at a possible new friend and the next she was looking down as her own face. It was a crazy out of body experience. Horsefly looked down at her hoof which wasn't her own it seemed, it was blue and extended downward connected to her actual hoof. Her eyes were widened in a silent shock, unsure of what was happening or what she should do in response, "uh... what's goin-" she began but it wasn't her own voice so she stopped. Her face was calm and more than a little confused but inside her heart was racing while her brain was shutting down unable to comprehend the situation before her. She looked up abruptly at her own face with a slight gasp, "He....hello?" She looked into her face squinting a bit trying to see if there was someone else in there because she knew that she wasn't so who was, if it was who she thought it might be then their friendship would get a lot closer a lot faster than she had previously anticipated. Sweetie Pie Compiling a list of ponies that could possibly be a match for this pony was proving to be more difficult due to his shy nature but Sweetie knew that sooner or later she would get him to open up and find his center. Her train of thought was interrupted when a loud booming voice echoed through the walls almost coming from them she automatically assumed it was a joke and chose to ignore it and stick with what she was in the middle of but a minute later she wouldn't be able to ignore it. "Hey what just happened? Where am I?" She felt as though she had been teleported somewhere completely different but her body temperature was higher and she felt heavier. More than that her reflection wasn't moving with herself until she realized it wasn't her reflection it was her body and she wasn't in it. With that thought she let out a high pitched scream hysterically jumping up and running out of the cafe almost knocking over a table in the process. She wasn't sure where she was going only that she was going to run as fast as she could but with such a different body she soon tripped and fell face first into the dirt in a very un-lady like fashion. But she wouldn't let that stop her as she quickly got up jittering on all four hooves making small circles in the dirt making all sorts of high pitched squeals and shrieks.
  21. Parcel was soothed by the words of the pony in charge and was about to step forward and take a seat when one of the larger ponies already sitting down pointed something his way. It was an object that Parcel had never seen before so he wasn't sure what it was for but he assumed that it wasn't good. Due to one of the other ponies reactions his suspicions were confirmed, Parcel froze he looked around the room unsure of what to do. It didn't help that the ponies mask was getting under his skin and giving him the chills making him shiver slightly.
  22. Parcel Shift moved through the cold night making sure to step carefully across the wet grass, his knowledge about what this "job" was about was very minimal. He knew about three things, that he was going to be paid for it, his specific talents were going to be useful and that it would be the first step in his acceptance toward pony kind. Parcel wanted the last one to be true so much that even if it seemed like a long shot that he would do most anything to make it happen so here he was standing outside of a house, the shadiness of the place did not put him off for a second his home that he had back at the hive was much more run down and decrepit than this house. Parcel moved toward the already open door, paper thin wings buzzing every few seconds, he made his way through the house following a light source to a large room already filled with ponies. At the head of the room he saw the pony that looked most in charge and immediately lowered his head not making eye contact. Parcel felt a wave of shyness wash over him and he moved away from the door standing near a corner of the room not without saying a word. This was the first encounter he had with ponies since the castle so he was feeling a bit nervous and wasn't sure what he should do or if he should do anything at all.
  23. Sweetie Pie Sweetie waved a hoof, "there's no need to be nervous, I've done this about a million times." she took the quill in one hoof and her notebook in the other clearing her throat before adjusting her position in her chair. "Alright, shall we get to it?" she didn't wait for an answer continuing speaking this time putting the quill to paper and beginning to write, "first I'm going to need a list of your hobbies, likes, dislikes, what you think your dream girl is and what kind of living space you live in." Sweeties hoof was running across the page at a frightening speed her eyes darting from the page to his face trying to get more than just conscious reactions but the unconscious. "After that we'll move on to more deeper topics but for right now I'm more worried about the basics." When she was done writing she looked up with a smile awaiting for his answers. Horsefly Very grateful for the refill she blew over the surface of the hot liquid sipping it cautiously but even with her caution she ended up with a burned tongue. Scrunching her eyes in pain she nearly spurted the coffee all over the table, hurriedly she set the cup down on the table groaning knowing full well that her tongue would tingle for the rest of the millennium. Horsefly looked up at the waitresses words about to reply with a no thank you when she saw a pony in the corner sitting alone. Something moved in her heart it reminded her so much of the filly who she used to look after so she felt like she couldn't just do nothing, "yes, um.. can I buy that colt over there a muffin and also just let him know that if he needs company that he is always welcome at my table, ok?" Horsefly crossed her hooves hoping that he would accept because if she was completely honest with herself she was beginning to feel like she needed a bit of company at that moment.
  24. Sweetie Pie The mare looked up to see her client sitting just a table away, her blush deepened as she stood up to walk over to the right table taking her supplies with her. Sweetie had wondered why the pony she was previously talking to had such a feminine voice and now it all made sense. The embarrassment of confusing him for another pony was almost too much for her but Sweetie's pride pushed through and she persevered telling herself that she needed the job. "Hello, sorry about that...um, did you order yet? I insist on paying." This was something that she did for most of her clients at least on the first meeting but this was also used to push passed the subject of what just happened. "Shall we get started?" her head was held high and she had a smile on her face all of this betrayed how she really felt inside but right now she needed to be professional. Horsefly Horsefly was still very confused at what was going on when she heard a voice behind her speak, "um...sweetie pie?" the pegasus turned around seeing a stallion who had a lighter brown coat and glasses. Horsefly frowned, she always knew that her appearance resembled closely to that of a stallion but this took it to a whole new level. She could only watch, sipping her coffee, as the blushing mare got up and left her table, Horsefly finished her drink and raised the glassed looking at the waitress passing by who happened to be humming a lovely tune. She hated to interrupt the song but she was still thirsty, "excuse me but can I get a refill?" Horsefly brushed her teal hair out of her face with one hoof still holding out the empty cup with the other patiently waiting for the mare to respond.
  25. Sweetie Pie Sweetie was late and she knew it, it was very unprofessional of her but it wasn't her fault closing up her shop on odd hours wasn't the easiest thing to do. She had a customer come in at the last second insisting that he needed to order a necklace for his marefriend so that she wouldn't leave him but it took him about an hour to pick out what kind of Crystal Empire gem that he wanted, leading a double business proved to be quite tiresome. Finally when he had left she was able to close her small store which sold Crystal Empire jewelry, and made her way to the second part of her job which was her favorite, match making. She knew very little about the client she was meeting only the place where they were meeting and his name, "you must be Tone Shift." she said sitting across from a brown coated pegasus sitting alone at one of the cafe's tables hoping this was him while pulling out a notebook and quill. Horsefly Today was going great for the young pegasus she was just getting a scone and a coffee when a magenta maned mare sat across from her, "you must be Tone Shift." Horsefly looked up, the mare was getting out a notebook and quill, Horsefly was confused then the mare spoke again, "as you may know I am Sweetie Pie and I'm here to help you with your problem." The pegasus looked at the mare like she was crazy, "uh...I don't have a problem." Sweetie Pie blinked for a minute then regained her composure, "oh no of coarse you don't, but that doesn't mean we can't find you a good mare." Horsefly looked around in disbelief wondering where this pony had come from. "Look lady I'm not Tone Sniff. I'm just here for my breakfast." Sweetie Pie's eyes widened to impossible sizes blushing a deep red Horsefly could almost hear the oh no going off in her head and couldn't help but be amused.
