    This is my first attempt at MLP:FiM art and I thought who better to start with than Applejack. This was done entirely in Inkscape and I decided to include the individual components togive a better idea of how I created the finished pictures. I'm interested in hearing how others create their digital pieces especially those with Inkscape experience and constructive criticism is always welcome. Sorry if the image is too large, haven't figured out how to use spoilers yet.

    I never thought I'd watch any MLP at all but now i'm more open to the idea of giving things a chance. If it wasn't any good i'd feel no obligation to continue watching it if i don't like it.

    most of the time i don't even pay attention to the gender of characters. I will occasionally 'forget' that a large number are female. For some reason it doesn't seem to stand out as odd there are so many girl characters.

    I think Applejack would be the easiest to talk to as I think the others are a bit too energetic and dramatic (except fluttershy but she's almost impossible to talk to if you're new)

    These two episodes have already become my most watched episodes. Normally I can't rewatch episode too soon or I get bored easier but there's something about these two that make them entertaining to watch no matter how many times I see them. I think the songs have something to do with it and I've always loved disney films and this really has a disney feel at parts.

    When I watched this episode I was afraid it would be a lot worse but I found it really entertaining. Most likely because Applejack is my favourite and I think she really helped balance out the girliness.
