  1. B..bbubbles? Does it have Ditzy Doo in it? I have some reading to do... *gulp EDIT: I read it. So what if her mother left her? Anything good (and bad..) could've happened. But still....*sigh, for a fanfic w/o blood and gore, that was awful* I felt sorry for all the poor fillies/colts that were brutally finished off by Cheerilee. What was she thinking? I almost feel like her personality in Equestria Girls is the same as that of Cheerilee's Garden; the Cheerilee in EG seemed a bit tense and low tempered when the CMCs were playing their music in the library (her actual reaction was fine, but I think she could have done worse to the cmcs), while the fanfic Cheerilee was tense and desperate to do something about her students from spreading their malevolence like the "weeds" they were.
  2. So first he denies the show to be any good..ok! That's been established in my brain. Then all of a sudden, I see him clopping.... my memory of him as a non-brony is quickly replaced by one which loves MLP and also clops....the high jump that my brain must make for this sudden change is too large, that I fall and become unconscious while foam comes out of my mouth. I would probably pull this face:
  3. That comment just made me think how much stuff I put on my Subway sandwhich without even thinking of how some of that stuff doesn't usually go together! Meatballs, pepperjack cheese (toasted please ), lettuce, tomatoes, onions, spinach, olives, honey mustard, chipotle southwest, topped with parmesan cheese =F
  4. I am known to be terrible at debating, so I would probably know from the start that there is nothing I can do to undo this black magic.... BUT, I would probably try to talk him into becoming a brony again by reminding him why he became one in the first place. Otherwise, I'll just let him be, even though I probably lost one of the few brony friends I actually speak to.
  5. Sophomore at Purdue studying aeronautics..sounds like me! Except I'm actually going to UTexas. I'm actually only 80% sure that I will actually become an engineer, considering it is a pretty technical career. I'm not afraid of the mathematics involved which is what brought me to want to study aerospace, not to mention I've got a deep interest in aviation and hope to get my PPL sometime next year possibly if I can secure funds. In a nutshell, I'm thinking "do you want to make planes, or do you want to fly them?" Obviously I would rather fly, but I think that engineering is a better career because you are contributing to society with your innovations, rather than just flying them (which requires much experience!), but I don't know if that's what I was meant to do.
  6. *cracks knuckles* Welp, here are mine: -Police officer/firefighter -Meteorologist -Airline pilot -Astronomer -Aerospace engineer -Airline pilot again! Surprisingly most of these jobs have something to do with the sky (except the first one, but that's because I didn't know about all the jobs that existed). I'm studying aerospace at the moment, but if I find out all the technical stuff is a bit too much for me, I'm just going to take to the skies! Also, I noticed that we don't have too many people here that have very differing possible careers (yours seem to involve criminal justice and psychology, but Jackie is very dynamic with what she wants to do).
  7. Me at 3 years old: "Awesome! A giant bath tub!" *jumps in and can't swim* I've also accidentally left a fork/aluminum foil in a microwave. I started freaking out a bit (without thinking about turning it off). I also decided it was a good idea to play loud and obnoxiously in the band room while people were trying to practice.... *sigh
  8. You actually opened my eyes by letting me think about the perspective of those who have been ahem, "molested" in the past. By the way you are describing it, it is like making a 9/11 joke: although there doesn't appear to be anything harmful in a joke, it still has a sort of dark background and terrible story behind it. Despite of that, here will always be plenty of things that will upset people who have had a traumatic experience before. Taking down a blog may not be worth it: just simply don't look up "molestia" and avoid it if it appears.
  9. I used to like ketchup on my scrambled eggs, but I've sort of done away with that. Although I don't do this very often, I do like to eat vanilla ice cream with french fries. Can't say anything else. Try it!
  10. 44 A wild retro derpy appeared.

    Hello!

Welcome to the club Connor! We do hope your visits at the forum will allow you to make friends as you wish, while at the same time discuss all that is My Little Pony with your fellow bronies. Don't feed the parasprites!
  13. Well I thought it would be cool to have a pegasus as an OC since flying's awesome and all that. My OC would be a wonderbolt and a comet/shooting star seems to match that idea. Originally his mane was a bright orange color and his coat was a dark blue, but I changed it to black and yellow (haaaaaaaaahaaa) and tried to make his coat as close to periwinkle since it's a fine color to set one's eyes upon. Here's a pic: EDIT: I removed the wonderbolt one since I didn't feel like shrinking the two images so that they would fit. Link: http://tinypic.com/r/30ubtsj/5
  14. Stardust as a real background pony? I hope he'd be a wonderbolt since he looks a bit too wacky to be a normal pegasus . I would definitely feel special and useful to have my creation on a show like My Little Pony, but I probably wouldn't profit from it unless it really helped them out (I'd let them keep the idea regardless of pay though) ...but I doubt it since he's a background pony, so I'd leave it at that.
  15. Hands! That's why! I'm sure people really liked her design and as I like to say (as of now), she's one of the mane background six, like Octavia and Derpy. Her cutie mark is a lyre so people could take interest in her in the art of music, which is a big thing in the bronydom, much like Vinyl's bass-dropping is quite popular on YouTube. The fact she sat like a human in one of the episodes assumed she was into anthropology since no other pony sits that way, sort of how Derpy's line "muffin" made bronies assume it defined her characteristics, which is cool and do-able. Who says we can't assume things about a background pony?
  16. In my opinion, Molestia isn't as bad as Family Guy's crude humor, and I like Family Guy. It's not like you see the characters having sex or anything that severe. I would say that askmolestia is mildly funny and crude, but I wouldn't want anyone too young to follow it of course since there's a big of suggestive content on the blog.
  17. Assuming they are strong enough to lift me up, I'd test how fast and high I can fly, going around places I'd never be able to reach (top of the house,..... high places!). I would hope that they are detachable so I don't become a target for the media and science @_@
  18. Do I get to grow wings? Because then my name can be wingin' wolf! (badum, tss). There are two possible scenarios if I go to Ponyville: 1.) I am the new Zecora 2.) Walk into town with all my stuff like I'm a normal pony..er wolf, and just get to know everypony. Nobody was afraid of Iron Will when he came to Ponyville, and he wasn't a pony.
  19. I recently watched this episode again for old times sake. For some reason I like it when Pinkie Pie says "the trombone! You know? Bbbbdbbbb!" If she would only tell her friends about how music soothes the beast(s) before she would blabber about what instrument she needed. I think I inherited Pinkie's point of view of parasprites after watching the episode, not to mention they ate Lyra's cake!
  20. I wanted to say Sweet Apple Massacre for how intense the storyline can be at times, but alas it is a bit of a clopfic. Other than that I'd say Cupcakes is also a bit difficult to read considering Rainbow Dash is being mercilessly tortured and eventually killed by Pinkamena . Cheerilee's Garden is also pretty gory, but I'll let you read it if you haven't.
  21. 42 (haha) This topic isn't getting as much attention as it would be considering there are always so many members active, but its worth a shot.
  22. I am NOT a newbie !....no wait, yes I am! 1.) Meet new friends 2.) Fly through clouds and stuff 3.) Gummy! 4.) Make stuff 5.) Give people stuff 6.) Night Owl Final: Rainbow dash
  23. There are limits. Some will be more tolerant than others, but that should not get in the way of defining what is the truth. I typically hate it when anti-bronies use this against us: "if you love and tolerate everything, then does that mean you love and tolerate Hitler"?, or simply anything that involves us writing back to them in a hate way (which I avoid very well). Love and tolerance in my definition means that we are open to ideas and will gladly accept them, but not if it is harming others or their beliefs. At that point, we must step in.
  24. I definitely like giving hugs whenever possible, but not excessively. If I had a girl friend, I would probably hug her all the time, sealed with a kiss .
