Saigo saw one of the Onijin warriors coming down towards him swiftly. His ring lit up for a moment as he dodged to the side, letting the weapon hit the ground and sink in. While he dashed he seemed to fade to the side at top speed, practically teleporting and leaving a smokey color trail behind as he did so. Before his enemy could pull it's sunken weapon from the ground he stabbed his katana through it's chest. "Foolish." Saigo muttered as he attacked. The Onijin let out a grunt but was cut short by Saigo's Tanto piercing the creatures temple. Before he could pulled out his weapons, another Onijin swung his giant weapons at Saigo enraged and hoping the cut him in half. However Saigo simply contorted backwards and ducked under the blade limbo style. Before the Onijin could muster another swing, the end of Rin's chain scythe wrapped around his arm, holding it in place. Saigo quickly pulled out his weapons from the dead Onijin and dashed by the now occupied warrior, leaving the same trail behind him as he appeared a few feet behind the enemy. A torrent of blood erupted from the things chest as it was now clear that Saigo had slashed it mid dash. Before it could even fall to the floor Rin pulled back on her scythe to retrieve the main part of the weapon, parting the being of it's arm on the way back. It doubled over and died afterward from bleeding out on the ground. "That leaves two." Saigo thought as he watched the other two Onijin as they huddled over to each other in a defensive stance.
-
Saigo thought for a moment, putting his sword back and following a small cleared path. "Leaving them alive would be a mistake. In a small unprepared group out here they can be dispatched easily without alerting the others way out here. Plus if we want the Taniaku we may have to go through every single one of them." He commented as he moved through the brush much slower now, reaching a point where he knew the campfire must by right past the bush. He pushed his Katana out of the sheath with his thumb, grabbing the handle afterward and cut the brush down. He rushed out of the opening, expecting to get the jump on the group. However once the brush was cut down he found that besides the campfire, there was not a trace of anyone there. Saigo looked around the site with an odd face. "Maybe they left earlier or heard us coming and ran?" Rin suggested with a bored tone. Saigo merely shoot his head, continuing in his usual calm voice. "There are two problems with that. One is that they would never risk burning down their own forest by leaving a fire behind. And two, these type of Onijin wouldn't ever run from a fight... Seems they still heard us however." He said as he simultaneously heard the bushes around the clearing shake as a five large figures launched up into the air above them. All of them black and white painted armored Onijin carrying oddly large improvised weapons. They came down towards the group, their weapons pointed at them as they fell. Their intention to kill was clear, seeing they were planning an attack from the skies.
-
Saigo looked around the colorful forest now, examining all of the plants, trees, and strange probably poisonous fruit. But then again, poison wasn't a problem for him. "If they would of heard us, we probably would of already been attacked. The tribe that dwells here definitely aren't the subtle type." He commented speaking quieter, maneuvering through the jungle with the help of his katana's cutting power. He slowed down, smelling the air and noticing smoke nearby. "There might be a camp nearby." Rin simply followed, now pulling the scythe off her back once she heard Saigo.
-
Saigo started to walk off towards the jungle now. "That should work for now, but once we reach the clearing for the temple, a more stealthy approach might be preferable." He replied to Akira. "We might run into a few patrols out here, but they have quite a few numbers there. Compared to regular Onijin they're stronger, since they are pretty much strictly violent headhunters." He explained as he used his sword to cut through bushes and plants, reaching into the forest itself now. Traversing into the place without any type of clearing tool would seem almost impossible.
-
"That would work I suppose." He replied as he waited at the beach, pulling a map out of his kimono and unfolding it. "I had hoped we wouldn't end up here first out of all the islands. But It seems we did anyways." He said looking around the beach. "In the middle of this island past the wave of jungle the island dips down like a funnel, in the middle of that is a temple, and in the middle of that I'm guessing our first Taniaku will be kept safe under lock and key. However the main problem here isn't the odd landscape. It's that the entire place is inhabited by warmongering tribal Onijin, a bit different from the kind that side with Narumi. They are highly religious and will pretty much attack anything in sight." He said, finishing with a sigh. "This will be annoying." He added. Rin got up after hearing the boat come to a stop, she was so engrossed in the food and talking to Isamu that she forgot they they would be reaching the island soon. "On second thought, I think we might need to go." She said, putting a fresh bowl of food down and rushing out of the room. She grabbed her robe and weapons from her room and ran up to the deck, jumping off the railing and landing down at the beach. Saigo didn't really even care to notice, he just simply waited for Isamu now.
-
Saigo merely nodded. "Of course, I'd hate to die and know I haven't passed down any of my talent to anybody. Finding time here to train might prove a problem. You may just have to ask me what you want to know and I'll tell you everything I can along the way." He said as he vaulted over the side of the boat. His sandals sunk into the sand a few inches as he hit the floor of the beach. He examined what was in front of him now. Besides the somewhat dull beach, a lush jungle like forest awaited them past it. The air around the place smelled mostly like flowers and plants now. But the humid temperature was annoying for him. He ran his hand through his hair and fixed it back up after the duel and thought for a few moments. "Knowing Isamu and Rin, I wouldn't be surprised if they were still at it. However now that the boat's stopped they should be here soon.

Saigo watched Akira teleport away, his swing only hitting the empty air now. He watched the bokken disappear from his hand with a slight sigh to see the battle didn't end later. "I may need to train you if you're up for it. I don't know much about magic. But dueling, especially other swordsmen is more my forte." He said casually as felt the boat wash up into the beach of the island. He turned around leaning off the side of the boat to see the sand below. "Hopefully Rin and Isamu aren't still eating." He commented.
-
Saigo watched as she took the defensive position now, closely watching her every move. After a few moments he started walked towards her. "So be it." He said as he suddenly charged, his bokken staying right next to him up until he reached Akira, quickly swiping from the lower right side out of nowhere once he reached her. The best way to charge an enemy is to keep the direction of the attack a mystery up until the end.

Saigo watched as she charged him, noticing where she intending to strike and parrying upwards, catching the sword and holding it up. "You're making your attacks too clear to me as soon as you charge." He said as he stopped the tension that held the blade up. While he was still close to her after his block he slashed at her shoulder, still keeping his eyes on the bokken she held.
-
Saigo noticed she was dragging the sword behind her and knew there was only a few ways she could end such an attack. He used the practice sword to block the underhanded attack and forced it down as hard as he could to keep his distance from the sword. Afterwards, he slid the blade up her own sword and towards her body.
-
Saigo caught the training sword and twirled it in his hand as he talked. "Fair enough. However you should be aware that all of my life I've been training not only as a swordsman, but as an anti swordsman." He said. "Magic and ranged abilities are my only weakness." He replied as he stopped spinning the sword as it pointed at Akira. Now he simply waited for Azura to attack, ready to counter at any time.
-
Saigo watched Akira fall from the sky with a now amused face. Once she landed back on the deck, he turned his view over to the horizon. "Now that you mention it, I believe it will be coming in sight right.... about... now." He said as a tip of land was now coming into visibility off in the distance. "Not much longer now, though the hard part will be beginning soon. Now we'll be actually fighting for our lives, and the lives of our countries people." He said, jumping off from the crows nest and back onto the deck of the ship. "Failure is not an option, so I hope everyone is at there best for this mission. We'll need it." He finished.
-
Saigo observed the sea from the crows nest, watching for anything besides the seemingly endless waves of the void like ocean. However he had no such luck in finding anything besides the dull currents of water. He sighed, realizing that he had now resorted to looking at water for entertainment. He propped his head up by his fist and waited. There was a point in his life where he could look to other people for enjoyment, though that time had long since passed now. In fact, he could look to almost nothing for enjoyment now, nothing but music and destruction. The combination of the two at the same time were probably the only few times that Saigo could say that he had truly enjoyed himself since the coup against Narumi. The absurd way he was able to pull it off would be that he had a band travel behind him when he conducted a raid on a village. Bored now, he simply closed his eyes, now shutting even the sea out from his thoughts and he simply tried to think about nothing.
-
Saigo looked over to the room she pointed at, almost impressed with her being able to pinpoint what he would consider his own "meditation room". "Ah, I had that room as insulated as possible from sound for that reason right there when I had this ship built." He commented, looking at the room. "Sure, I have no problem with letting you use it." He finished before walking off to the deck of the ship. His vulture flew down landing on the pole. Seeing it wasn't making any sounds that sounded like the death of a baby whale, he figured it hadn't detected anything odd around them. He climbed up to the crows nest of the ship right next to the bird and sat down at the edge, simply observing the seas for now. "Well I'm not sure exactly, but if anything, knowing Saigo they're probably just both not talking at all. That tends to be how Saigo likes things." She chuckled as she ate.
-
Saigo merely nodded. "I see... I apologize if I seem to be asking for too much information. But the last thing I need is for you to collapse out there with me not even knowing what it's about. Something like that could even prove deadly." He said as he slid the stool back with his foot and got up. "That could be a problem in the future" He thought as he walked over to the door. "Well I don't want to hold you up for too long. I'll probably leave you be for now unless you need anything?"
-
Saigo walked over over to a place to sit parallel to Akira. "I would of noticed by now that you were nauseous far before you fell over. This isn't sea sickness." He stated. "You either don't want to tell me what's actually happening, or you don't know yourself." He added with a sigh he said as he pulled a stool over and kicked his legs up in a comfortable position, shutting the door as he did so. It was clear he didn't have any intention of leaving yet. "However there is no reason to hold anything back. Most of the people that know me would describe my personality as a emotionless monster that lacks morals. I won't judge you for anything, especially not some sort of sickness." He explained. "That's somewhat wrong however. I'd do quite a bit of things to be actually emotionless. Not feeling would make things easier." He mused on. Rin was still eating ravenously. "I wouldn't be surprised if Saigo is currently doing it for you." She said in between bites before stopping. "Obviously I thought it was funny, but girls are weird about relationships. For instance you know even Saigo would probably get even madder if you did anything like that to him." She finished.
-
"It's really no problem, I probably would of left too. And I've already informed him not to do such a thing like that anymore. However I can't promise he'll follow through with that." He said. He was about to reply to her last sentence, but then watched her fall over. He grew another confused face and walked over to her, now standing above her with his arms crossed. "You alright?" He inquired, his voice hinting a bit of concern now. He had never seen someone just randomly collapse.
-
"Seems you just got rejected Isamu, that's tough..." Saigo commented, starting a few more bouts of laughter from Rin. He was about mid-way done with his meal by this point. He sighed and continued to eat. "However, I suppose she is right. Someone's feelings shouldn't be played around with." He said, finishing his rice and downing the shot of sake he poured. He got up and walked out the room, closing the door behind him. He stopped at Azura's door, sliding it open enough to the point where he could see her. He leaned up against the doorway and abruptly spoke. "I'll have to apologize for both Isamu's and my own actions, I shouldn't have laughed. He tends to do things like that often, after all I've known for him for while. So even I have been subjected to his sometimes poor taste of humor. However he practically doesn't know what boundaries are." He explained with his usual emotionless voice. "Relationships are indeed a topic that shouldn't be fiddled with in such an overboard manner." Rin was still eating, almost to a point of looking like she was in a competition with Isamu.
-
Saigo stopped eating, rice half way to his face. His head cocked to the side with a confused look. Before he actually scoffed out a small laugh when he saw Isamu's improvised ham bone ring. However afterward he looked even more confused than before. It had been quite a long time since he had laughed. In fact thinking of the times that he used to practically depressed him. He looked away from the scene, now lost deep in thought and continuing to eat silently. Rinsame almost fell off the mat she was sitting on by trying to keep in her laughter. But eventually fell silent, a small tear in her eye.
-
Saigo thought for a moment. "I'm sure we'll be able to eat a good portion of it. And any untouched food will be eaten by the guards. Though the reason there is so much is because I wasn't sure what everyone wanted. Seeing everyone was sleeping, a few extra meals is the least of my concern." He explained. He got out a pair of chop sticks and waited around for Isamu. In the meantime he twirled around the sticks in his hand and in his mind he hummed a tune. Rinsame slowly inched her hand over to a plate of food, but stopped when she got a death stare from Saigo. She knew he hated Starting meals without someone.
-
Saigo walked away from the railing of the ship he was leaning up against and turned for the entrance to the ship. "Yes there is food, calm yourself Isamu. It should probably be ready by now downstairs." He explained as he walked into the ship. Taking a few different turns this time, Saigo wound up in another big room with a table in the middle and a four seats. However, instead of paperwork and maps, plates of fresh food were being held up by the table. Saigo took a seat, however at his end of the table he already had something prepared for himself. Smoked wolf meat over a bed of rice. He poured himself a glass of his sake and waited, to make it even weirder, it came out a diluted green color. Besides his own odd tastes, he had the guards prepare various dishes throughout the table, seeing he didn't know what anyone else liked yet. "Feel free to eat all you want." He said. Rinsame heard everyone else walking towards a room she could smell food from. She quickly hurried off and found the group. She herself was practically famished from her own sleep and was glad to see the food on the table.
-
Saigo heard Akira walk up to the deck and mused his view over to her. "It's good to see you're awake, Akira. I hope you were able to sleep well." He commented. "It would appear that we're about halfway to Tani. And I've sent the guards to prepare us all a meal that should be ready soon." He added before he went back to observing the sea. By this point, Rinsame had woken up from the movement of the guards downstairs. She slumped out of bed and grabbed her things, yawning as she did so. She walked outside and stretched at the door frame, looking around the ship. Seeing this was by no means a covert operation, she left her robe behind.
-
Saigo awoke to the sound of the waves crashing against the boat. He figured at this point he had gotten enough sleep and got out of bed. He dressed himself back up with a fresh arrangement of clothing and reattached his weapons. He walked over to a mirror in the room and ran his head through his hair, making sure it wasn't too messy after sleeping and then walked out. He noticed he was the first one up, and decided waiting around in the room was going to be boring. So with a sigh he walked up to the deck slowly. Saigo finally reached outside and found the fresh air and breeze to be far more comforting than being down in the inner workings of the ship. Judging by where the sun was, he guessed he slept about nine hours. One of his guards walked up to him as he admired the view. "Lord Fuzen, we're about half way to Tani now." The guard almost whispered. Saigo merely nodded as a response "Excellent, we'll be there by the end of today then." He commented. "Have the men start preparing a meal for four, after all everyone else should be rising soon. The last thing I want them doing is telling me like a child they're hungry." He finished as he dismissed the guard, who then bowed and walked back into the ship.
