  1. 'Merric'

    @@Leafeon@@Umbreon@@Aerodynas,

'Merric' had shown up shortly after the other big one and his tired friend had shown up. It may have been a nice day but he wasn't interested in the relaxing today, it was unlikely that some would have asked for him without anything in mind. (Even though it was obvious that the two weren't friends... Curious.) Though once he saw the one he was to meet he was unsure that he wanted to approach until there where others around... The Absol morph was a bit intimidating and chances shouldn't be taken as far as that claymore was concerned. So he simply sat nearby and let his spear rest against the wall while using the shield as a headrest and observed the two until others showed, he doubted he was fooling anyone but he didn't much care... Besides, its not like he looked much like a morph.  *'Hmm... Judging by their behavior i doubt the two are friends. The Absol seems a bit antagonistic though, not sure i like that... Heh, however the Umbreon's attitude is rather amusing, possibly maintains his morphs nocturnal habits?... Quite possible, wonder what else was carried over.'*

After a bit a Luxray morph passed by to meet up with the pair as well, seemed like an interesting sort if quite sure of herself. Fitting true with her appearance and manner but that was rarely all that there was to another.  *'Great... now i'm hungry. Irrelevant, food later business first. Plenty of confidence at least... Though i'm not so sure that the tenseness adds up to that impression, wary perhaps?... Hmm, needs further study.'*

Then another girl passed by to, presumably, meet up here as well... It was difficult to notice but she seemed to be an... Altaria Morph? Her features seemed to merely reflect as human, odd. Not often when the heritage doesn't outwardly reflect on their kind. Still though, the feathers and tail gave it away.  *'Heh, why is she wearing a dress? I know that i'm only wearing pretty average clothing and all but at least i brought a chain shirt along with me... Doubtless she seems harmless enough if a bit innocent. Possibly i misjudged the invitation?... Well that would be unfortunate.'*

Regardless after the Luxray showed up 'Merric' decided it was safe enough now, unlikely that she'd back down should one of the pair prove aggressive so backup was at hand should a fight happen... It would be needed considering the Absol morph but (Hopefully) unnecessary. So he waved towards the pair they where to meet and started with. "I'd point out that every mission failed teaches one just as much if not more but i don't really know the 'missions' that your referring to so i'm a poor judge..."  *'And i don't really want to get stabbed or cut asunder for expressing opinions so yeah...'*  "Regardless to hopefully provide a correct answer for you lovely ladies questions i believe this is in fact the spot... either that or these two have been sitting here 'conversing' for the past little while with no purpose in mind but i doubt that." He then eyed the Luxray in a half sarcastic manner. (Though he was still mostly being lazy.) "I wouldn't worry too much miss. I'm sure that i fulfill your requirement unattractive male of the group even if i cannot promise that all of them will be as such..."

  2. Name on file: 'Merric' (... Though we aren't sure if he's screwing with us or if it really is his name.)

    Morph Type: Alakazam

    Age: 18

    Gender: Male

Physical Description: There is little outward affects of his morph nature other than his unimpressive (But surprisingly still adequate) musculature stature and thin layers of hardened bone-like plating over his kneecaps, forearms, and chest. We think he has the trademark (If ginger) mustache of an Alakazam but where unsure due to the way he keeps it well trimmed. As for his features he has ginger hair that is usually unkempt though trimmed to an comfortably short length and no facial hair to speak of. His build is quite average if a bit on the thin and tall side. Not too sure where the pale skin tone came from either...

Personality Analysis: Rather unnerving thing about 'Merric' is that where unsure if hes really what we've picked up on his actual personalty. (Or if he has one.) Most of the time when we try to ask him anything he ends up learning more about us than we do him. So far we've gathered that he seems to act quite relaxed during any situation, even combat, and that though he show's emotion... We're unsure if he means any of it. All in all... We've got little to say as all of our questions are answered with questions......

Combat Analysis: Usually keeps on the defensive (Using his spear to keep his opponent at a length while blocking their attacks with his round shield in addition to using his abilities to hinder them.) until he has a good idea of what his opponent is capable of, after that 'Merric' often uses his more unpredictable abilities to break their guard and finish them.

    Ability: Synchronize

Powers to be Aware of: Teleport, Kinesis, Confusion

Hehehe well i myself would love to play a pathfinder campaign. :D Though i'm going to point to http://roll20.net/ as it has everything in one box so to speak. XD I myself am pretty experienced (I've DMed one or two open-ended campaigns so heh i know a bit about it. :P) but i'd really love to play with you guys. :)  (Annnd i really couldn't care less for time-zones as i structure my own around other peoples. (I work online. :P))

    @

I'm complemented for the mention, i hadn't the faintest idea that i'd had that much of an effect.

  4. @@Demirari

(Of course, what better way to slaughter than to purpose build your armies eh?) Ahhhh Shogun 2 different story then as your line infantry makes for a good melee unit anyway, i was still thinking Medieval 2 tactics with their melee focus in which skirmishers are a real game changer. :P Actually i have one of those as well, their good camo and ambush tactics allows me to pick off my enemies armies should i get tied up. They provide quite the army sniper if used juuust right. :)

Indeed it is, hell its good enough that i've got a few different variations of it to destroy the competition... Not to mention the wards in place to prevent its use on me. :P

  5. @@Demirari

Hammer & Anvil tactic, i'm a big fan of that one myself... Hehehe you might want a unit or two of skirmishers in front of your main lines to draw their arrow fire, works wonders for casualties if you've got the right units/formation. ;)

AI War, the AI is both evil as all hell (It taunts me when i mess up!) and it learns really fast before waiting to build up a massive fleet and smash into you... Mistakes have been made to get to this point when i'm hiding behind a wall of defenses and only barely holding my own. (This game is nearly impossible to beat solo...)

Edit: Oh and... Hehehe knock that number down to 500, i tricked it! :D

As the room shuttered and started to change Patience became (visibly) uneasy, to know that their host could change the room around them was unnerving to her... And the overly nice decor was unappealing (By her standards at least.) as well. Then their host appeared and at first Patience was unsure of what to think before shrugging it off.   *'Looks like he skinned Ravenwing and wore her as a cloak... Heh, i wish.'*   And after the pony poured her glass she politely slid it over to the mayors aid, muttering something about disliking champagne before quietly waiting for the pony to start talking.

*'Hes being a charmer, my wings aren't pretty..... I aught to find a way to make them less noticeable soon.'*  Though Patience subconsciously tightens her wings in discomfort she continues to relax in her seat, only looking at Everlast sarcastically and saying "Careful with the eyes sir, some mares might find such a gaze unsettling to be observed with..." but she quickly switches back to smirking and using a more relaxed tone. "Ironically the martial blade is the most simple to master, while a stallion of your stature may not be blessed with much marital strength i imagine that matters little in the end of things. One deprived of a normal means to an end often develops others that can be far more effective. And my wings aren't that pretty, wouldn't be much use to me if they where... I doubt there would be any reason for you to harm a poor merk like myself, i was merely jesting sir."

  8. @@@Torrent505,

Would the same recast and exhaustion issue persist?

I'm no expert but i'd think that holding back the effects of poison would be a fairly exhausting thing to do. Magic that's medical in nature is often the most exhausting due to the fine and complex requirements. (Kinda needs to be considering what it affects, one wrong casting and you rupture something or worse. :S)

    @@,

Shadow watched Amethyst try to flit with irritation and paced over to the others with a small shake of his head and addressing Ronin as he did so in a fairly unhappy (And slightly irritated. :P) tone. "Dying is a real kind way to put literally spending your very being into non-existence... Not a great way to go." And after reaching the pair he lightly but firmly tapped Amethyst on the back of the head. "Exactly right and no magic means no fliting either doesn't it? (sigh) Could you at least try not to kill yourself?!?"

Patience waved off the mayors thanks with a grin and relaxed a bit once the night guard decided to use words... Though she was still wary of his actions. "Not a problem, self-defense is good business and you where the injured party anyway so i'd have to be a bit cruel to just watch... Aught to keep hostilities to a minimum during introductions shouldn't we?"    *'In the open at least... Outright attacking isn't all that smart.'*    "Heh, with a record like yours i'd be surprised if you weren't a master of a few different 'swords'... Hahaha, please just try to avoid my wings with your strikes eh Mr. gentlecolt? I need em and i'm afraid that i'm not real skilled with the politicians blade."

  11.

With harsh I meant that torrent took it from through god modding. He couldn't fight back. And if he loses it without much of a fight I can slightly justify that it returns to him, but if he actually loses it through a fight fairly, it shouldn't return to him immediately :c
Hmm... While that may be true Torrent was reinforcing the point which was started by a bit of god-modding on tempests end. Hell he even politely explained why and how things could have gone differently. I'll agree that god-modding can be harsh (as i have a bit of a dislike for it myself...) but it was earned on this occasion so there is no fault in either party, merely a misunderstanding and a correction.  (That said i agree with your statement overall, i just believe that it wasn't very harsh to the point where it was a fairly soft reprieve.)

Of course your not the only one seeing difficulties silly. :P Patience is a pegasus too and i know that their own natural abilities are quite potent without magic... its unfair to have both even if it costs a bit of one to get the other.

  12. Since the pendant was stolen from you in a little harsh way I can understand that it reappears now, but if in the future it is stolen without the use of god modding, I suggest that you won't make it disappear again.

Just going to point out that even if the pendant had been taken from Tempest harshly that it would be a poor reason anyway..... And it wasn't nearly that harsh cause i've seen enough to say that if Tempest didn't get off lightly he was responded to in kind so it was pretty fair.

Also going to point out that not only is the letter thing higher end magic but the disappearing into smoke is as well... I'll admit to using it with one of my own characters but he was a formless entity so it made sense, it was also power consuming even for him....... And you did all this as a pegasus to boot.

Patience gently helped the old stallion to his hooves and walked him over to his chair, making sure to keep herself between the mayor and the night guard while also making sure not to interfere with Dorado's line of sight on said night guard. And after ensuring the mayor was fine she looked back to her old spot before sighing and sitting between the mayor and the night guard before half-turning towards the mayor, offering her hoof again, and smirking. "Its Patience and you might want to be careful where your pointing all that charm old-timer, pointing a weapon at an unarmed mare isn't all that nice."

*'Wow, self restraint much... Note to self; Don't let the night guard get too close, hes violent.'*

After the night guards violent outburst Patience sighed, got up, and walked over to the mayor to offer him a hoof with a cautious. "You alright sir?" before glancing at the night guard. "Can we not resort to violence, bit stupid to start fighting someone over something as small as a harmless question."
