Ahh. Interesting. Yeah, I was really into the Jurassic Park one for a while, but I got bored with it. I like stuff like the Simpsons and MLP ones. I like watching something lively like a town or city. As much as I love dinosaurs, watching dinosaurs wander around cages and cars drive around is...really boring after a while.

I'm conflicted on how I feel about MLP shipping fics and comics. I've seen some really adorable ones, but it still seems odd to me to ship ponies.

I'm fine if people don't like MLP. But a friend told me she's "disgusted" with how much of it she sees and how emotionally invested people get in the show. That made me a little sad.

Exactly. I would've been fine if she just said the first thing about the show being crappy. I mean, that's a matter of opinion and I am okay with that. But that line about her being disgusted with me...actually kind of hurt. We've been friends since my freshman year of high school, which made it a bit worse to read that.

I had another high school friend say (after I ended up having to explain what a brony is): "No offense, but the first thing I thought was 'pedophile.'" I'm not sure which I dislike more. Both friends did apologize for what they said when I expressed my displeasure about, but still. I feel a friend shouldn't say that about you to begin with.
