I have two words to say for Princess Spike's moral: non sequitur.

Hmmm... So are you saying that, because he /did/ start out doing what he did (speaking for Twilight) for good reasons, but then ended up taking it too far (his intentions changed), that it is non sequitir?
Because, in my opinion, this episode was about power and authority. Spike feels like he doesn't get credit enough for what he does, and that people don't see him as much of an authority. Seems like a good chronological connection to me.

No, it's the fact that the source of the drama has nothing to do with his greed. Separate the first thirteen minutes and the last nine of the episode. You have two entirely different conflicts with only the climax (as a result of what happened early in Act 1 when his greed was absent) bridging them.

I respect your opinion. I just don't feel the same way.
"If you give a mouse a cookie..." - If you give Spike authority, he's going to want more. It doesn't have to do with greed. Greed, jealousy, and power [by authority] are 3 different things. In my mind, this was never about greed. So, I think it follows the nature of someone getting a position they aren't trained to have. This episode was about politics, really.
