You did a lot more than try I love it, thanks a lot!

Well I actually did redo the second part and didn't save it. I really planned on it being more of a tribal feel that didn't come out there, maybe it's just not suited well for a solo guitar though? if you listen to Let's Shake Some Dust by Volbeat kind of what the beat is like there is what I'm thinking of, just less western.

I hope this is in the right place. Here's the story. A couple years back I started working on a theme for my OC Lily. It went through about 4 key changes, eventually ending in a variation of Fm achieved through detuning my guitar. However it never got finished. It was supposed to start off painting a picture of the Everfree Forest in a cold, dark, winters night and move through some happier and sad movements. I never got the transistions right and I was never happy with it. Here's where this one comes in. One day back in May I was still trying to play with it and getting nowhere. Eventually I broke off on something different and this happened. Totally different to what I normally do and I wanted to know if it's something I should work on more, still inspired by the Everfree though. And I'm finally brave enough to post it to get opinions or maybe some advice on how to make it better, I already have some plans though. It's in four movements, first one is entering the forest and noticing something in the trees, the second is being chased by the something, third is entering a peaceful clearing, and the fourth is returning back to ponyville...I think, haven't listened to it in ages myself. Well Angel operates on my timetable. The RP with dusk happens when I'm asleep. I can write her out tomorrow as I'm not sure I'll meet the character limit on just that alone. It's not the two characters, as stated I'm bringing Lily in with Angel later if the other two know or it or not yet. It's just time zones are ick and that can't be helped at this point.

Well to put it from my point of view...It's like being invited to a party at 5 but all your friends told you 7 so you show up late and miss it. Just kind of annoys me that something that was made with mention to my character kind of got finished while I was sleeping. I can keep on top of Angel, with Dusk it feels like I'm never supposed to sleep, time zones blah blah blah. I'll bring Dusk back in a later storyline.

It's seriously a lot more stress for me to have to worry about writing for an event I wasn't there for, when I clearly was supposed to be, than for me to just drop the character for time being.

Well you said for us to not ask about the spider? And I'd still be missing the whole mysterious pony thing. It's fine, I have plans for Angel to at least halfway bring Lily in later.

Well I'd be fine with it just being colored with the picture on her page...but if you want to do a whole new one I'd love that too.

So this one should be pretty straight forward but I have no real art skills at all, if you look in my sig you'll see a character called Angel. She's the filly of my other OC Lily. The thing is I've always wanted her to have red tipped wings, because of reasons. I was wondering if anyone would be so kind as to help me with that? Before you ask, yes, I did try doing it myself in ms paint since that's all I have. It always looks really bad and not natural.

Angel was still jumping up and down as she saw the firework go off "Wow! That is like the most coolest thing, ever!" As she was jumping around she even landed on Dax's back for only a moment before getting off again, not even acknowledging him standing there. "I've never seen anything like that. Not even at that one show a couple years ago, with those one ponies. I was just a little filly then." Angel looked over at Dax, her excitement overcoming her fear and her green eyes shining brightly. "I'm not sure what I can do either. Mom says I'm still not big enough to play with the other three fillies I see running around town yet. But if Blitz says it's ok I'll sure try my best to help you two out." She ran over and hugged Dax only for a second in happiness before turning back over to Blitz while she hovered in place. "Well can I help? I'm not sure what I can really help with or do but he said I could and I'm sure my mom would say yes if she found out I made some new friend and we were doing something cool. I can't tell her where I met you though or where I was, but I can worry about that later. So can I help? Can I? Can I? Can I?"

Well I'm not too sure what do with her right now quite honestly. Just everyone posts when I'm sleeping so it's causing me serious problems. Like I said I have no idea what's going on right now. I won't write her out but I'm not going to post for her either until things get to a good point for me to jump back in. Writing 1500 character catch up posts isn't very fun.

Kinda a personal pet peeve. I don't like backtracking the storyline

Well dusk seems to have missed her intro by a long shot. I can write her out if it would be cleaner. I'm writing for angel when I get home

Oh ok then..I'm probably just going to stick with writing for angel then and just love dusk out. Everything goes too fast for her storyline.

FYI, I'm not dead, just not feeling very good for some reason. looks like I still haven't missed the spider part though so I just need to do catch up reading. I'll try to figure out where Angel's at in a bit. Ok. I'm totally lost. Did someone else already clear up the mysterious pony Dusk was supposed to be looking at or not?

Lily followed the others looking around, her map seemed to be reletively close to what was actually there with only a few buildings in th wrong place or not marked. Her coat kept her quite a bit warmer than the others. "I'm not too sure about going into the mines just yet, what about the monster?" She tried her best to yell out over the snow, but still following feeling she'd be needed either way.

I never really gave her a job, and she lives in kind of the "downtown" area of ponyville I guess you'd call it so it would be kind of hard for her to be a guard.

Yeah mostly. Lily/Angel could be there for work/vacation I guess. Dusk is a bat pony though so I don't see her fitting in too well in Canterlot.

Well adventure kind of seems to be another category around here. Most of those do have some violence in them, but if you're hosting it you can make the rules like no blood or deaths or anything like that. Keeping it to Season 2 finale levels of violence is always an option.

Same, I think the genere you're referring to is Slice of Life. Basically no violence and very little if any romance. Just kind of normal show stuff. I'm not good with starters but if you ever come up with one I'd join too.
