Fire Lily

Kinda a personal pet peeve. I don't like backtracking the storyline

Well dusk seems to have missed her intro by a long shot. I can write her out if it would be cleaner. I'm writing for angel when I get home

Oh ok then..I'm probably just going to stick with writing for angel then and just love dusk out. Everything goes too fast for her storyline.

FYI, I'm not dead, just not feeling very good for some reason. looks like I still haven't missed the spider part though so I just need to do catch up reading. I'll try to figure out where Angel's at in a bit. Ok. I'm totally lost. Did someone else already clear up the mysterious pony Dusk was supposed to be looking at or not?

Lily followed the others looking around, her map seemed to be reletively close to what was actually there with only a few buildings in th wrong place or not marked. Her coat kept her quite a bit warmer than the others. "I'm not too sure about going into the mines just yet, what about the monster?" She tried her best to yell out over the snow, but still following feeling she'd be needed either way.

Well Dusk is kind of in a position of only wanting to know about the spider at this point.

"Yes, really!" Lily squeaked out through the hug. "I really don't know about that mom thing. Like you said I did leaving without telling her goodbye. I'll take being a good friend though, that works for me." She said while hugging sparkle back as long as she wanted.

"oh I'm sorry...I didn't know that.." Lily says while staring only at the ground. She slowly wraps a hoof around Sparkle trying to help her feel at least a little better. "Don't worry, we won't become monster chow. I promise." She says while giving Sparkle a reassuring squeeze. "I was only hear for the bits and for my daughter...but after hearing that I'm more ready to help you than ever."

"i..I'm not sure about that either" She stammered. "We already know the mines are full of crystals, but he hinted at something more, apparently crystals wern't all the miners were stashing down there before they all disappeared. Finders keeper's loosers weepers" He said sing songy to all the others as she pulled out her pickaxe feeling more optimistic all of a sudden. She walks over and stands next to Sparkle. "Is there anyone even still in the town? It sounded to me like almost everyone was either scared off or turned into a snack."

"Well actually my sense of direction isn't that great either..I've been studying that map he gave me front to back and left to right the whole way here, I just hope that it's right and nothings changed, it looked kind of old." She said nerviously. "As for cold weather gear, I was told that much, along with a few other minor details, nothing to specific though, something about claws and treasure."

"Well going by how the wind was on the way in I'm going to say we're definitely not flying out, and it's way too cold to even consider walking. What do you suggest we do now?" Lily finds an old blanket left around the station that's still somewhat clean and throws it on top of Sparkle to help warm her up.

Lily giggles a little as she see's that Sparkle is alright and comes out from under her bench, "Well that's why you need one of these silly" she says while pointing out her coat. "Not sure it would've saved you though if you were right under it. Does the landslide mean we're stuck here for now?"

Lily climbed under the bench she was just sitting on as what seemed to be the whole world quite literally collapsed around her. She covered her head with her hooves and waiting for the noise to stop. Feeling completely helpless and having no idea what happens to the others until the noise finally stops.

"Let me correct you on that, my daughter comes first. Her father doesn't care and probably doesn't know we're still around.."She says with a far off look in her eye. "Plus my daughter is old enough to want to come along but still too young to know exactly all the danger we're all in." She shakes her head a few times and tries to refocus. "What's that?" She said all of a sudden turning her head to the noise.

"Well my daughter doesn't even know I'm gone. She's at camp then she's staying at a friends house for a week. Plenty of time for what we're doing here I hope. As for her father, he wouldn't care anyway, he hasn't care in a long time." Lily says sadly. "I'll find a way to explain all the extra money to her, as for completeing the job...he said there'd be more and bigger ones if I could pull this off. Small jobs are nice but they don't always pay for our rent or food." Lily stood up and kicked at the ground shyly. "I guess we should get going then." she said desperate to change the subject.

Lily stares back in Steel's eyes meeting s gaze cooly. "You may call me Lily. Only ponies that use my full name don't care for me much. And in spite of your...presence...I don't think you mean much harm, to us anyway." She then looks over to Sparkle. "Has for how my contact new about this job..I'm not sure. I've never seen him before a few weeks ago. Usually my bosses are ponies that have been around town for a while and want something done quick or quiet or both. He came up to me with an offer, telling me about something in the frozen north that needs..'removed'. He gave me enough bits for the supplies I have and a downpayment of about what I make in a month, he said I get the rest if I come back. Which for my daughter's sake I'm completely planning on"

"Most ponies that know me pretty well wouldn't put it passed me to sleep past a stop or 3. But something tells me we're all here for the same thing. Including Captain Creepy over there." She says with a small smile. "So how much do you know about why we're here?All I know is that there's a monster and the pay's good...Not too sure he's not the monster though." She says while giving a quick sly look at Steel. "I wasn't given any sort of letter other than my contract and what the shady pony in the dark cloak told me while he was handing me my first part of the payment."

Literally just another pillow I had no idea people sleep with things under their pillows. It sounds unpleasant.

Lily looked at sparkle as best as she could through her thick coat. "For a mission such as this I think miss is a perfectly fine start. My name is Fire Lily but I usually only ever go by Lily. Only ponies that call me Fire are on business or really don't care for me. I'm going to stick with calling you Sparkle though since you seen nice enough. Who's your friend?" She asked and hid a little more inside of her coat while looking at steel.

Lily suddenly felt something was very wrong. She felt as if all of her blood had turned to ice. She looked over to where she felt the disturbance and saw two other ponies standing there, a stallion and a mare. She looked them over once and immediately noticed the stallion was causing the problem, she wasn't sure if she should fight, run, or break down crying. "Uh...he..hello..?" she manages to get out.

I'll wait to say anything then, Dusk being well..Dusk has plenty of questions.

I've never really had the chance to try on girls clothing. I had an ex who always complained about her heels so I tried them on once to prove her wrong. I walked better in them than she did Other than that yeah, never really had the chance to. I am really femenine for a guy though and everyone said I would've made a better girl anyway. I just figure I'm a bit late in the game to be making those kind of changes. Though for what it's worth I do have a lot of pink, hoodies, jackets, t-shirts, that I love to wear, it just feels more "right" somehow.

"Plants that bite? I've never heard of those before, sounds kind of dangerious, but exciting too" ngel said while still looking between Blitz and the pretty colors. She was still lost in her own little world when the other filly was saying something about seeing something go off. "You mean the sparkly ones? Could I? Please?" She said while jumping up and down, hovering in the air a few seconds each time.

Lily groaned lightly as she more or less fell out of bed. After she went to sleep she had dreamed of a huge horrifying presence in her car. When she woke up and looked around there was nopony there so she decided to let it go however. "I should probably lock the doors on the return trip, just to be safe." she said aloud, mostly just to reassure herself. She put on her coat kept her armor and pickaxe in her saddlebags, she figured it was better to not let her travling companions know she was any sort of prepared just yet. Especially after the dream she had she wasn't sure if any of them could be trusted just yet, even though she figured they were all here for the same reason. Lily walked through the other cars slowly and shuddered in one when she felt the same presence she had in her dream. She got to the front of the train and carefully stepped down, her coat not allowing for the usual use of her wings, and hiding that she's a pegasus at all. She stepped off of the platform and into the waiting room "I'm late as usual, figures." she mumbles completely to herself and picks a bench on the far end of the room away from everybody else, though there were only three other ponies in the waiting room at that time she wasn't sure exactly who was who yet and wasn't about to go asking around.
