What would make you NOT like a Guardians of Harmony series?

Since I like Equestria becoming a very girly Mushroom Kingdom you can see that I would like the series to have sillier plots to reflect that. That is important! I want to stress that I feel these ideas apply more towards adventure and action stories than slice of life stories. All future adventure stories should feel more like Mario and less like DBZ or Dungeons and Dragons.

People hated the characters being transformed into unsympathetic morons. The series would still have slice of life as the primary focus and character development, but there would be less serious threats and occasionally more crazy adventures. Mario and Luigi is a much better comparison if you have to compare it to another work.

Season 1 felt like Dungeons and Dragons for little girls, a very fun concept, but it never really sat well with me next to the overly sincere themes and happy feel it always tried to convey. Season 3 started a trend of far more sillier elements being placed in the world (such as the mirror pool and crystal empire) and Equestria Girls and Season 4 only expanded on this. I see the Mushroom Kingdom as a very viable comparison to what Equestria is now, and I LOVE that. I feel like I'm the only one who feels that way. The world is generally far more harmless and far more interesting, there are far more limitations in what can be put in the world such as history and technology. I feel this wackier feel greatly works with the series and that's why I prefer it more. I think it would be very difficult to introduce something that I don't like unless it greatly changes the status quo in a negative way or contrasts the silly feel we've seen so far.

Ponies using obviously human phrases?

I'd want to consider that OOC, non-canon, or RD being a complete moron because- Sonic Rainboom Rainbow Dash: I'm gonna go rest up. Don't wanna over prepare myself, y'know. Hehe. You, on the other hand, better keep practicing. I need a cheering section to match my spectacular performance. Hearths Warming Eve Rainbow Dash: Get a hold of yourself, Private! We cannot let anything distract us from the mission at hand. To find, and if necessary, to conquer a new land! Rarity: On the other hand, I have no trouble watching you stoop down. Just for Sidekicks Twilight Sparkle: That would be nice. You sure you don't already have your hands full? Keep Calm and Flutter On Twilight Sparkle: I suppose we can just use the Elements of Harmony against him again if it gets out of hand. Magical Mystery Cure Applejack: Could y'all give me a hand here and help me fix this mess? Not to mention words like handle, unhand. -

Rather than a new generation would you prefer a sequel series?

I was coming up with an idea for new cast to focus on, one we could stick have slice of life, friendship lessons, and adventures with, but like Digimon Adventure 02 or Dragon Ball Z was a supplementary cast rather than a replacement cast. Rather than introducing a new set of Elements of Harmony, introduce characters who could greatly benefit from learning about friendship. Such as a troubled delinquent, a girl who had been dormant for thousands of years and suffering from memory loss, a girl training to be a perfect princess, a robot studying ponykind, and a photographer looking to start a magazine. These things could provide a familiar, yet different, feel and allows our original cast to aid in their journey rather than trying to introduce characters to keep an original cast fresh. -

Err that's what I wanted, I said a new story. The new cast should have their own roles that is NOT the mane6. I can share my idea for one, it is lighthearted, but also pretty over the top silly. I think a story that still justifies friendship lessons would be great I still think there are way more stories to tell with these characters, but this could be seen as a spinoff if you want to call it that. -

Nononono, the mane 6 should remain the elements, this pushes the new generation vibe and thus tells us that these new characters are as important or replacements for our old cast. Either the new team holds different roles regarding their connections to Equestria and spreading friendship or we explore a new storyline with new main characters. Why not have the sequel series have a different premise? -

http://www.horse-news.net/2016/05/my-little-pony-movie-concepts-shown-in.html And it looks very exciting. 1. Loads of transformations 2. Journeying across and beyond Equestria 3. Seaponies, pirates, aliens! 4. Having to possibly team up with baddies to take on a bigger threat. I really hope this is some kind of extraterrestrial menace.

Is there any point in which pandering could go too far?
