  1. @@Blitz Boom, phoenix also took notice in the wound that last stand bore. she considered for a moment helping out, and attempting to heal her, but unfortunately her battle instincts prevented her from doing so "if you show off what you can do, then somepony can figure out how to counter it, or cut it off... don't do anything unless it's dire." she told herself mentally. Phoenix looked up at smokey as he began speaking to last stand about that sword of hers. such an interesting artifact it was. an heirloom she said? is there any possibility it links to her ancestry? there were many questions that she had. following other ponies around and helping them wasn't exactly something she'd normally do, but this time it was different... it wasn't just some random pony asking for assistance on the streets, this time it pertained to her almost directly. she didn't have much choice in the matter. she needed to stick with smokey, and especially last stand if she wanted to figure out more about this sword of hers. "sure, i suppose" she said with mild enthusiasm. she just wasn't the social pony. @@Widdershins, just then, she saw the claw leap out of the blue and latch itself onto smokey's horn. it startled her a bit, but she kept her composure. she simply took a few steps back away from smokey, unsure of what to do. she could certainly try to hit it with a fireball or something, but she'd run the risk of severely injuring smokey.
  2. @@Lightning Roller, Phoenix looked up at the sky as she realized it was beginning to rain. this weather certainly was going to make things difficult for her. does she stay outside and catch herself a cold, or go inside and face all the ponies she just embarrassed herself in front of? she let out a frustrated sigh as she pondered this, the raindrops beginning to pad down her fur in the spots where it was hitting. either way, she would have to make her decision quickly. the best thing to do would be to find another spot to sit where the rain wouldn't hit her. after all, the blue stalion was now gone, from what she could tell, and that gave her a bit of freedom to get up and move, seeing as none of the other ponies were likely to follow. she got up and began to walk down the street away from the bar.
  3. @@Lightning Roller, after a few moments of sitting in silence, Phoenix heard the voice of the stallion from the bar. her ears twitched a bit as they turned to pick up the sounds a bit better. she heard his response and took it well into consideration. however, she figured she'd stay put where she was. she was on a mission. she had an objective, and she wasn't going to let some slip up at a bar get in the way of it. she simply gave a bit of a frustrated huff and settled herself in. there wasn't much to do around here at night, and she would have to wait until morning to get the things that she needed. as she leaned against the brick wall, she lowered her head and closed her eyes as she began to doze off.
  4. @@Lightning Roller, Phoenix looked around her, and her predictions were accurate. every patron in the bar, all except for the one in armor had their eyes on her. this certainly wasn't good for somepony who preffered to keep a low profile. durring the fall, her hood had fallen off, revealing her soft feminine face, as well as her bright glowing blue eyes. "I-I'm fine!" she said, with a loud tone, and a flustered expression as she pushed herself up to her four hooves. her horn began to glow with a blue aura as the hood was lifted back over her head, and she trot rather quickly out of the bar. she didn't go far, however. it wasn't cold, nor was it raining so staying outside certainly wasn't a bad idea. she figured that the other ponies probably thought she ran off, and in case anyone wanted to try and follow her, she decided she'd simply stay put in the adjacent alleyway to throw them off. she walked up to the brick wall, and sat down with her back against it, catching her breath.
  5. @@Blitz Boom, as Phoenix heard smokey talking about the enchanted sword, she couldn't help but take interest in it. it was a little reminder of the sort of thing her tribe would be interested in. a reminder of her past, and why she adopted the name that she did. as smokey approached her, she couldn't help but keep her eyes on the sword, even as it was in it's sheath. she lifted her gaze only for a moment to look up at the strange stallion, who seemingly came out of thin air. "Ironically, my name is Phoenix" she answered. of course, it wasn't her real name, but she used it so much that it might as well be. after answering the stallion, she stepped past him to get a better look at the sword. it was quite the coincidence. for beginners, it was something she had never heard about before. perhaps it was knowledge carried by her tribe, and she simply had to depart with them before she could learn of it. not only that, but the first time in a long while she decided to step in on some random pony, she found something pertaining to her. was it a sign? her wonderment was visible on her face as she looked upon it.
  6. @@Widdershins,@@Blitz Boom, Phoenix was traveling lightly, with her hooded cloak covering her face. all that could be seen of it were the tip of her orange snout, as well as a couple of her blue curls peeking from the sides. as she walked along, she began to notice a few noises coming from the distance. her ears twitched in the direction they were coming from, and she turned her head to see what was going on. in the distance, she could see what appeared to be a floating sword swinging wildly, and a mare who seemed rather upset about the whole situation. it was a strange sight, of course, but phoenix had seen stranger. rather than react with bewilderment, she let out a soft chuckle. she approached them, simply to get a better look, but somewhere on her way over, she decided that she hadn't seen anything this interesting in quite a while, so she wanted to jump in and include herself. as she neared, her horn began to glow with a cyan aura. it looked as if some concentration of magic was forming at the tip, getting ready to be released. as she released the ball of magic, it turned into fire as it flew through the air and towards the sword. after flying through the air in a straight line for a few seconds, it struck the floating sword, causing the claw to lose grip of it.
  7. @@Lightning Roller, it was just as Phoenix had feared. as the sun went down, the taverns get crowded, and that's not the kind of atmosphere that she thrived in. she glanced around first to make sure nopony was watching her. for what reason? she didn't even know. it was a habit of hers for when she needed to make a stealthy exit. either way, it wasn't going to work out for her this time. as she passed Lightning's bar stool, she caught her rear hoof on the leg, causing her to trip and fall on her face, making a loud THUD against the wooden floors. after the impact, she pushed herself up to a sitting position, blushing angrily. "How can i be so careless?" she thought to herself. now of course, she was going to draw the eyes of the whole bar on her, which is the exact opposite of what she would want in ANY situation.
  8. @@Lightwing, alright, thank you! this helped alot
  9. so one thing i noticed is that forum posts will often say something like "posted at *insert time here*" but the posts themselves are never matched up with the actual time. i have no idea how much it's off by, but it has to be a few hours at least. anyone have any answers for this?
  10. @@Lightning Roller,@@Moon Dancer., Phoenix was walking up the street, her hooves making steady click-clack sounds against the brick road. she didn't quite like showing her face in public, being as reclusive as she was, so she wore a cloak with a rather long hood. all that could be seen of her face was the tip of her orange snout, as well as a couple of bold blue curls from her mane. of course, she hated being in densely populated areas, but she had to go to a city every now and then for some supplies. although she was resourceful, finding fresh fruit as well as tools wasn't all that easy. she had never been to Manehattan before and really had no clue where to begin. of course, her timing was ill and even if she did know, she was most certain that any shop would most likely not be open. after trotting along for a minute, she spotted a stallion go into an old looking tavern. if need be, she could spend the night there and find a shop in the morning. it would certainly spare her the long walk to her camp site which was settled a mile outside of the city. she walked up to the doors of the tavern, and glanced over at the blue neon sign as she pushed her way in. she chuckled a bit, internally. these tavern names were always so typical. as she entered, she looked around, trying to find an empty table. she didn't want to bother anypony, and above all else, she hoped that nopony would bother her. she glanced at the strange armored stallion, and hoped that they wouldn't be any cause of trouble, as she walked past him and into an empty booth near the corner of the room.
  11. @@asdfmovienerd39, Phoenix simply remained silent, not saying a word. she didn't want to say the wrong thing, and if she opened her mouth, she certainly would. she took her hoof off of deadpans shoulder, and walked towards the town, glancing back and forth at all the damages.
  12. @@asdfmovienerd39, Phoenix simply remained silent, and looked over at deadpan. she couldn't help but feel bad. she might be a bit cold most of the time, but she could certainly recognize when someone else is feeling mournful, and in situations like this, she'd be respectful. she walked up to deadpan and put a hoof on his shoulder. not something she really wanted to do, but she thought it might comfort him.
  13. @@asdfmovienerd39, Phoenix simply stands there, looking in awe at the damages done to ponyvile. she turned and looked at deadpan "can't you see this?" she asks, with a concerned tone, gesturing towards the town full of damaged buildings. "what happened here?" she asked to herself.
  14. @@asdfmovienerd39, Phoenix ignored him as he followed. perhaps he'd loose interest and turn around sooner or later to leave her alone. She kept walking, not even doing as much as turning her head towards him. give him an inch and he'll take a mile. after about a minute of this, the trees started to thin out and she suddenly stopped, looking at what lay beyond the trees.
  15. @@asdfmovienerd39, after Phoenix had brushed herself off, she started walking. ideally, away from Deadpan. she rolled her eyes at his comments. he certainly was a character, but not one she'd like to be around. She simply hoped that he would not follow her, although if he were to do so, there wouldn't be much she could do to stop him.
  16. @@asdfmovienerd39,@@Flinp, Phoenix looked up at deadpan "i'm fine" she said with a little bit of aggression in her voice. she didn't like to be helped. however, what she was more concerned about was the fact that A: she was discovered, and B: at this point, she had lost where Briar had went. with deadpan watching her, she slowly got up and dusted herself off.
  17. @@Blitz Boom,@@asdfmovienerd39, as Phoenix was taking in all of this information, she saw the ponies suddenly split off. she decided to follow Briar, seeing as where he was going seemed most interesting to her. however, in doing so she lost concentration of where she was stepping, and tripped on a tree root, landing with an "oof!"
  18. @@Drago Ryder, Sophia waited for the boat to dock completely before stepping off of it. she didn't want to show off like Blitz did. as the boat docked, she looked at the island in front of her. she wasn't aware that they were going to be playing on the old island. a soft smile was brought over her hooded face as she stood there, hand in her hoodie pockets thinking about the events that had previously happened here in the show. she couldn't wait to explore the island and go to all the same places that the old cast had. after all, she, like all the others was a huge fan of the show.
  19. @@Blitz Boom,@@asdfmovienerd39, @@Flinp, Phoenix, with her keen hearing could also hear what briar was hearing, however she couldn't quite make out the words. she continued to follow them, using some of the thick brush as camouflage. she was trying her best not to make a sound, but the bushes rustled a bit as she moved. hopefully, they might mistake it for wind.
