Crystal once again sniffed at the salad before tasting. Regular vegetables... regular wine... she sighed and glanced around, hoping no one was looking as she opened her mouth and ate half the salad in a bite. Her ears flicked when she heard the weeping coming from a stallion. She looked down to see the pony, swallowing her salad. Wanting to support him.. but just turned to finish her salad..

Crystal watched on in fear, seeing the poor stallion choke. She managed to glance at Sombra's face... it was filled with absolute madness, a crazed grin on his face. She gulped and looked down, pretending that seeing the death did not bother her too much.

Crystal felt eyes on her once the King spoke up, so she gave up on the spoon. She drank the soup in a few gulps like a dog. Once finished she looked around. "Apologies for that... unfortunately I feel all my meals will be like this.." Crystal said softly and looked down to avoid eye contact.

Crystal looked at the soup, smelling it curiously for any signs of foreign ingredients... though it seemed safe. She looked at the tiny spoon and sighed, attempting to pick it up in her claw grip. Her cheeks blushed at the struggle she was having, silently hoping no pony would notice.

As Sombra glanced to Crystal, she looked down in embarrassment. "O..of course Sombra... the carriage ride here was lovely... the wind flowing through my mane as I galloped behind it like a pet certainly was the highlight of my day.." She said shakily, trying to make the king laugh so maybe he'd consider sparing her.

Crystal watched Flash go to the table, her body shuddered, knowing it'd have to do the same. She closed her eyes and took a deep, shaky breath before getting to her hooves. Her tail still tucked under her body, like a frightened puppy as she walked over. Though she'd just met this pony, Crystal decided to sit next to Flash. She snorted when she saw the little chair. "Well.. that won't work.." she said, pushing it away and just laying down on her stomach by the table, making it roughly the perfect height for her. Crystal cleared her throat and folded her wings tightly against her side.. and waited patiently for Sombra to arrive.

Crystal sat in silence for a few moments, taking in her situation. She slowly opened her mouth and spoke softly. "I deserve to die.. that's why I'm here.. I..I know I won't be the one to make it out.. I have no friends or family to go back to." She sighed, before noticing a pony sitting at the dining table. "W...why has she already sat down.. D..do we have to sit now..?" Her lip quivered, she'd never been more afraid in her life.

Crystal just stood there in shock, her mouth hanging open and her eyes filling with more fear than before. She dropped to the ground, sitting heavily, causing a slight rumble around her. "S..so this.. is my last night.. alive..?" She whimpered. "Wh-why.." she had so many questions whizzing through her head. Tears just welled in her large draconic eyes. "This.. can't be happening.." she shuddered, absolutely frightened.

She replied softly, panic in her eyes. "I..I've never been in one room with so many ponies before.." Building up her courage from talking to the stallion, she took a breath. "Why am I here..? I've never been.. out to dinner before.." Her tail coiled around her hind leg tighter.
